The hotel is beautiful! The location is great, close enough to plenty of things to walk to but away from the busy streets. Close to plenty of restaurants, there is even one inside the hotel. The staff is phenomenal! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! I would highly recommend this hotel!
Lovely hotel with attentive service, spacious rooms and a fabulous breakfast. The only gripes were the beds were very firm and no real solution from reception to solve it. (A couple of decent toppers or thick duvets would have been handy) and the taxi from the airport was a desperate disappointment. For €125 we were hurtled to the hotel through back streets like a rushed Uber driver. Was hoping for 'an experience' as per the hotel page. That aside though, I would certainly recommend if you're visiting this beautiful city.
Had a lovely stay at the Kolbe Hotel. Staff are all so helpful from the reception desk staff to the housekeeping staff. Super friendly. The rooms are very clean as is the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was a very good selection. Beautiful garden to sit and relax with a drink. We ate in the restaurant and the food was beautuful. Peaceful location, but still close enough to the main sites to visit. Beds were so comfortable and i slept very well. Could not fault our stay at all.
The Kolbe Hotel is lovely. The greeting we received when we first arrived was exceptional. Staff are all very friendly, professional and always happy to help. The hotel is in a great position and both our bedroom and the public areas are well maintained. The buffet breakfast selection was great with plenty of choice and attentive staff ensuring food was replenished frequently. Definitely a hotel we would return to.
The hotel is in an excellent location right next to the Roman Forum, making it easy to walk to most of Rome’s main attractions. Despite being so central, it is tucked away from the busiest streets, so it was pleasantly quiet at night. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard, although during the peak summer heat it was a bit too hot to fully enjoy. The breakfast buffet was good overall, but on a few mornings the hot items, especially the eggs, were already cold. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. However, we did notice ants in the bathroom. The air conditioning also had a minimum setting of 20°C, which wasn’t always cool enough during the hottest days. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The excellent location and peaceful atmosphere outweighed the few minor issues, and I would happily stay here again.
