Nice and simple hotel close to Termini station. We went there on foot with a big suitcase, and went everyday to the centre of Rome by bus or metro, so great location. Basic but good breakfast. But for me falls more into a 3 Star hotel category than 4...

Our stay at Hotel Villa Franca in Rome was one of the memorable parts of our Euro trip, especially because we visited on my birthday. The hotel has a very traditional and old-world style. The room felt quite dated and wasn’t really in line with modern tastes, but it was clean and well maintained. What truly stood out to us, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Since it was my birthday, the staff surprised us by offering us a complimentary drink. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, and honestly, it made me feel really special. These little touches can make such a big difference when you’re travelling, and I really appreciated their warmth and hospitality. However, there was one major downside to our stay. The soundproofing between the rooms was not great. We could clearly hear the bathroom sounds from the room next to us, especially the water splashing when they were taking a shower. It was quite loud and annoying, particularly around midnight when I was already very sleepy and wanted to rest after a long day. So, overall, my experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The room may feel old-fashioned by today’s standards, but it was clean, and the staff were genuinely wonderful and attentive. The birthday surprise was definitely a highlight and something I’ll remember fondly. If you’re considering staying here, I would just keep the noise issue in mind, especially if you’re a light sleeper. For us, the amazing staff and their hospitality definitely made the experience more pleasant.
The staff was very helpful, and the location is great—within walking distance to Roma Termini, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. My only complaint is the use of paper cups for tea and coffee. For a four-star hotel, ceramic cups should be standard. Also, the tea and coffee supplies weren't replenished for two guests.
Stunning appartment with large room, beaitiful en-suite and very large shared kitchen... think the TV was the 65" Samsung Frame TV that shows artwork in standby mode! Highly recommended and has 9.5 on booking.com
Stayed here for the weekend of January 16th. Hotel room was lovely and clean. We had a little rooftop terrace room which was beautiful as the weather was great. The bar downstairs is great to have a quick drink whilst you wait on your uber. The bartender ( I’ve forgot his name) was tremendous. I would happily stay here again for a trip to Rome.
