Hotel Oxford

We have just returned from Rome, and I would like to say a very special and heartfelt thank you to everyone at Hotel Oxford for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were extremely impressed by the comfort, cleanliness and hospitality of the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day without us even having to ask, which was greatly appreciated. One of the lovely features of the hotel was the piano. My daughter really enjoyed going down on some days and playing the piano, which made our stay feel even more special. The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. There was a fantastic supermarket right next door, with a wonderful selection of high-quality products, including excellent-quality water at very reasonable prices. This was extremely convenient for us. We did not need to take a taxi even once during our entire stay. We walked everywhere! Many of Rome's famous attractions were within easy walking distance. Even the furthest museum or historical site we visited was around a 40-minute walk, while the Spanish Steps were less than 20 minutes away. There were also many shops, restaurants and famous brand stores nearby. The breakfast was also very good, but what impressed us most was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. Our flight home was at 6:00 in the morning, so we had to leave the hotel at around 4:00 am. The staff knew that we do not eat meat, and despite the extremely early hour, they kindly prepared and packed breakfast for us to take to the airport. They even provided us with a lovely cold drink for the journey. This was such a thoughtful gesture and something we will genuinely remember. We would like to extend our special thanks and appreciation to the hotel management and the entire team. Your kindness, professionalism and attention to detail made our stay in Rome truly wonderful. We absolutely loved our stay and, if we return to Rome, we will choose Hotel Oxford again without any hesitation. In fact, it would be our first choice, 100%. Thank you once again for making our trip so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Room was ok. Shower slow to warm up and the lift was very small and outdated. However, breakfast was great and the service in the bar was exceptional. Good bus routes right outside the door and a 10 minute walk to the metro We would stay again.

To be frank was very worried when booked this hotel because of the previous reviews. But I would say it was worth the money. The rooms were functional, and was close many embassies. Most importantly the parking, we have reasonable parking around the area for a cost of 4€ per 8 hours. Breakfast and other amenities are good without much disappointment. Walkable to several tourists spots as well.
