Hotel Indigo St. George

We recently stayed at this hotel and loved it. The location was close to several historic sites and the front desk calls the local cab service for you if you need a ride. The hotel was very clean and their spa was very relaxing. I also liked the roof top bar and the views. My favorite part about the stay was the service. Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to help. If you stay there, be sure to visit the breakfast buffet, they had a fresh yogurt bar, an assortment of pastries and fruit and fresh honeycomb. You can also a la carte. I recommend the baked beans, scrambled eggs, & waffle. Thank you to Pietro, Laura, Maria, & Claudia for making our visit and amazing one!

The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and the location in Rome is fantastic. However, as an IHG Gold Elite member staying 30 nights a year, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of recognition and status benefits upon arrival. Despite my ongoing commitment to the brand, there was no acknowledgment of my status, no early check-in, and no room upgrade of any kind. Compounding this, I booked a second room for my mother-in-law under the same reservation, yet somehow she received a complimentary mini-bar while I did not. Great physical property and location, but the customer service and failure to recognize loyal guests left much to be desired. Just adding another frustration, the gym, I went in cycles to find it. Night time reception said downstairs but with no directions. You have to got through a ladies bathroom, which is fine, but why no signs and the staff member really should realise that people will walk in circles. I had to go back, ask again and then they sent me down with another staff member. So frustrating… tell you you know that photo is to the gym??

This is our favorite hotel in Rome. We are grateful to the concierge, Pietro, who helped us on check in with an issue unrelated to the hotel. Our room was a perfect place to relax and sleep between Rome adventures.breakfast was outstanding. Every person we encountered at the hotel was pleasant and helpful. The housekeeper had the room beautifully freshened on return. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

This Hotel by far was our favorite on our journey through Italy. I cannot say enough great things about the amazing staff and the service we received. The Hotel is right in the heart of the city, minutes from cool little restaurants and bars as well as minute’s driving time to the Vatican. The roof top bar is incredible with stunning views of the town. The food was excellent, and did I mention 24 hour room service!? Most beautiful and unique boutique hotel we have been to by far. Antonio and Claudia were just superb in making our first stay in Rome the most magnificent!
