Staff has been so friendly and helpful. Everything is wonderful. Rooms are spacious and clean with modern amenities. Good wi-fi. Very close to lots of restaurants and monuments. Highly recommend.

Hotel is in fabulous central location in historic Rome. Easy to walk to many of key attractions or take cheap buses to others. As expected of an old, city centre hotel, the bedrooms were small but very comfortable. Breakfast buffet good.

Great location. Average hotel. This is not a non-smoking hotel despite the no smoking policy. They do not enforce it and will not tell guest to not smoke. We told the staff about the reek of smoke in halls and elevators. They shrugged and said nothing they can do. Didn’t care at all. Rooms are clean and dated in a charming way. TVs are so tiny they’re about 24 inches. Pretty much Unwatchable. Beds are a bit dated low cushioning but doable. AC does not get too cool if you’re use to colder AC. Room came with a plug in fan that without it probably would have been very u comfortable to sleep. Not unique to this hotel at all. Most hotels don’t have great AC. Bathtub is dangerously small for a 5’2 female. Can’t image anyone 6 feet showering or bathing. Best thing this hotel has going for it is location. Minutes to the forum and Colosseum. Easy to get to a lot of places. Most sights are within 20 min walking distance or a quick taxi. Many rooms have cool views of the forum. Overall a decent value but worth considering other hotels in the area. It is in a quiet corner and away from major streets. You won’t get foot or car traffic in front of the hotel.

Wonderful hotel! Very traditional and old school vibe but still has modern amenities like ac. The staff is exceptional, so helpful if you need anything. The rooftop bar is a great view and the drinks are delicious. Location is great, blocks from the coliseum and just 10 minutes from pantheon and trevi fountain. Will definitely stay here again next time we're "in town".
