The rooms are beautiful and impeccably clean. I arrived at 8 AM, feeling quite tired after a long journey from the Philippines to Italy, and the reception staff (DANIEL) were exceptionally helpful, understanding, and kind enough to facilitate an early check-in for me. The pricing is very affordable, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooftop view is absolutely breathtaking. The reception area is both clean and cozy, and the bathrooms are spotless, equipped with fresh and clean towels. I highly recommend this establishment.

I struggle to understand the high rating this hotel currently holds; in reality, it is a low 3-star property at best. The biggest issue is the climate control. The AC is completely inadequate—if you require a room temperature below 25°C to sleep, look elsewhere. Furthermore, the breakfast offering is very basic, more in line with a budget 2-star hotel than what is advertised. The logistics are also frustrating; the lifts are constantly full, so unless you are on a low floor, you can easily waste an hour a day just waiting to move through the building. The only saving grace is the staff. They are genuinely nice, helpful, and professional—they are the real highlight here. The location is also convenient, being right in the centre. However, given the significant shortcomings in facilities and comfort, I cannot recommend it for a stay
The room sucked!!! Our bed was 2 singles pushed together not even the same height. We asked about getting better pillows and something to improve the comfort of the bed, they laid a Donna under the sheet but you'll wake up in pain everymorning and the pillows are so flat my husband thought it was a folded towel in a pillow case. The zircon did next to nothing and was controlled externally not in the room so the hotel would turn it off during the day and on a 38 degree day it just left the room muggy and uncomfortable. If you want to be near the highlights and sights this is not worth staying at. The bar staff on the roof were fabulous always so friendly.
The rooms at Diana Rooftop Hotel were clean and well-maintained, and the air conditioning worked well, which made the stay comfortable, especially after long days exploring Rome. The room did feel a little cramped, but it was functional for a short stay. There was a kettle provided, and basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer were also available, which was appreciated, although there was no microwave in the room. The bathroom also looked modern and luxurious, which gave the room a more upscale feel. However, you do need to be careful when showering because there was no proper shower door, and our bathroom ended up getting flooded quite easily. One of the highlights of the hotel was the beautiful rooftop garden, which created a really nice atmosphere to relax in. The breakfast was also reasonable, with enough variety to start the day well. Another major positive was the location — it was very central and close to everything, making it extremely convenient for exploring Rome and getting around the city easily. The main downside for me was the bed and pillows, which were extremely hard and made for a difficult night’s sleep. If it wasn’t for the hardness of the beds and pillows, I honestly would have rated this hotel 4 stars. Overall though, the hotel was tidy, well-kept, and in a fantastic location for tourists.
The Hotel is lovely, as my partner says it is very good. It's clean and the staff are very welcoming, the rooms look like they have been renovated recently the double room has a mini bar, prices in the room, and next to the bed are USB and USB c charging points for your cables. The shower is powerful and has a good supply of hot water. The hotel provides shampoo, shower gel and soap also a shoe shine kit and shower caps. The restaurant is lovely the roof bar has views of the Vatican and the food at dinner was great! Would love to stay here again.
