Hilton Rome EUR La Lama is a beautiful property, and the rooms are modern, elegant, and well-designed. Unfortunately, several aspects of our stay fell short of what I would expect from a hotel charging luxury prices. The televisions were disappointing, offering mostly news channels with no convenient way to connect or stream content from personal devices. The elevators were another major frustration. Only three of the six appeared to be operational, and they were not connected to a centralized call system. Guests had to press multiple buttons to summon an elevator, making something as simple as getting to your room unnecessarily inconvenient. Our room, 1202, also had maintenance issues. While the rainfall shower worked well, the handheld shower attachment would not stay in its holder and constantly fell off. This is a basic maintenance issue that should have been addressed before assigning the room to a guest. Additionally, the staff in the bar area could be more welcoming, attentive, and enthusiastic about assisting guests. When guests are paying premium prices, the level of hospitality should reflect that. This hotel has been operating for over three years, so these issues should no longer be considered growing pains. Management needs to prioritize preventative maintenance, operational efficiency, and service standards. If these concerns continue to go unaddressed, the property risks gradually falling into disrepair despite its beautiful design. Ultimately, a luxury hotel should deliver more than impressive architecture and attractive rooms. The service, functionality, and attention to detail must match the price. Hilton Rome EUR La Lama has tremendous potential, but the overall guest experience needs improvement.

Room was fantastic well kept as soon as we left and a lovely stay. Location was close to the metro which was a fantastic way to save money and get around all of the city. I hate to knock the service as far as I did because the daytime shift team was so welcoming and wonderful; the night shift however, I perceived as somewhat judgmental as I tried to speak the little language I knew and personally watched as a manhattan I ordered was made with a cheaper whiskey as to what was described on the menu for my one night in. I would recommend the room but find something to do every night you stay and only come back here to rest up for tomorrow!
Great hotel. Great staff. We were forced to stay there, a night in Rome, because ITA Airways cancelled our flights. The bar Manager was nice enough to allow us to eat our cold boxed meals from the airline in the back part of his bar. Yes, that's sarcasm. I guess we were junking up the place. Not our fault. We had plenty of money but we were in the same clothes for 24 hours because if said airline problem so we didn't look the part. Anyway, a beautiful hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. 15 minutes from the Colesseo by subway, which is around the corner. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were excellent, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean. What truly made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly genuine, kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast was absolutely exceptional — honestly, the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! The variety was incredible, and every dish was delicious and full of flavor. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into every detail. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, exceptional hospitality, and an unforgettable breakfast. I would definitely love to return!
Great hotel. Very nice and clean. Kind of far from city center but not terrible if you want nice hotel with air conditioning. The metro isn't far, maybe 1 or 2 blocks, but at night it can be a little scary. There are touch screens in the room which seems cool but you cant keep just 1 light on. I dont like to sleep in the pitch black in a strange place but there was no good option for just having a dim light on at night. I wish there was a courtesy shuttle. Would be nice is a complimentary service was offered to and from a big tourist destination.
