Air conditioning gets shut off at night… I want to preface with I rarely if ever leave reveiws but I think other travellers should have fair warning of the AC situation. I wanted to love this hotel, it seems like a nice quiet area off the beaten path. Rooms were clean, and had standard hotel amenities. Bed is rock hard although I slept okay regardless. The first night my husband and I arrived after a 26hr travel day tired and ready for rest. At approximately 4AM I awoke drenched in sweat and realized that at some point during the night our AC had stopped working and the room climbed to 28c I went down to the front desk and awoke the night auditor who explained the AC was not broken, that they shut it off at night to save costs. I pleaded that it’s too hot to sleep, were from Canada and barely used to the warm temperatures as is. His response “this is the price to pay to live in paradise” He explained I could not have AC turned back on for my room as it was tied to all others in hotel. I had to ask twice before he eventually located a fan in the back room begrudgingly. I really wanted to like this hotel but to shut AC off during a red warning heat wave is not acceptable. For a room that cost nearly $300CAD a night and marketed as 4 stars I was quite disappointed.

Such poor service both at the reception. The man spoke down to us and tried to make out he was friendly but I could feel the disdain in his words and attitude. Then at the restaurant, the staff in particular Brain was very rude and was unable to accommodate simple changes to dishes like using wine to glaze the pan instead of lemon or even provide butter with bread, stating that is only for breakfast. Overall very rude especially throwing down the menu on the table after we placed our order. Would not recommend this place for service at all.
Highly recommended. Great value, great service, great room, great and very helpful staff, simple typical and nice breakfast. We didn't eat dinner here, we ate out at restaurants in busier areas. The hotel is slightly further out, but taxis are cheap, air conditioned, and fun (you'd either love or hate to have to drive in Rome iykyk). Reception will book you a taxi that will arrive in under 10 mins. Stayed 3 nights 23rd to 26th June. Too hot to walk into the Vatican city (downhill), or the c.20 mins to the closer Cipro Metro (also downhill). We saved our energy for walking in, around, and between main attractions. We were spoiled by a large twin suite room, we had a huge super king, the kids had twin single beds. A very large balcony looked east across the rooftops and the north of the city. This is a quiet residential area. There are a few small restaurants within walking distance, with small locally focused menus. There is a superb supermarket 150m along the road. The pool is smaller than the picture appears it's about 4m long, 2m wide. The kids did enjoy cooling off 1 afternoon. There are about 12 sun loungers around the pool, and they were in use by hotel guests at various times. There's also some nice seating in the garden area at the pool. Lastly there is a roof terrace with seating too. Looks like there was a bar up there, signs show that.
Really nice friendly service and good tourist information from the front desk , didn’t even need to ask. Rooms are spacious and clean . The lounge is slightly dated but does add some traditional charm to the place . Great value for money , breakfast was surprisingly included in the price even though wasn’t mentioned in the booking.
Far from main city center/ shopping but was 20 minute walk from Vatican but overall decent for price paid. Clean rooms and service but shower broken, toilet continuously flushing , no soap in shower dispensers stiff/ hard beds and AC not working the best. Maybe that is why they don’t give you a comforter on the bed? Lobby is nice! Hotel is situated in a residential area.
