Fh55 Grand Hotel Palatino

We recently stayed for 3 nights. It was our first time in the Monti neighborhood and we enjoyed every minute. We were celebrating our anniversary, and were surprised with beautiful rose petal decorations and prosecco. The front desk is great with getting you acclimated to the area. The Grand is ideally situated near the forum, colosseum, and, after climbing some stairs right outside the front door (Rome is built on 7 hills), San Pietro in Vincole, where Michaelangelo's Moses can be admired. The Pantheon, Trevi and Piaza Navona are firther away but quite walkable, too. The rooms are modern and well-appointed, and the breakfast is delightful. Monti has excellent shopping and great restaurants enjoyed by both locals and tourists. Dining was far better here than near the Pantheon (too touristy) and Via Venetto (too expensive) where we have stayed in the past. We have found our new go-to hotel in Rome, and hope to come back soon! Thank you for an incredible experience!

Such a great location in the Historic Centre! It was a lively and felt safe everywhere! We walked everywhere from the hotel whether it was 12pm or 12am. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful. We loved our room and enjoyed getting water bottles and slippers when they clean our room. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The rooms were very clean and the hotel is within walking distance of the colosseum. Luca is a wonderful bartender. He remembered what we liked to drink without asking. Good breakfast. Within walking distance of some great local restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel has great pizza.

We stayed at a good hotel with a high standard and excellent service. We booked three rooms for our family on the fourth floor, and overall, our experience was excellent. The rooms featured a very effective air conditioner and a coffee machine, and we received water daily from the hotel. The breakfast was decent; however, the fruits were not always the freshest, but the staff made an effort to bring in new ones. Overall, it was satisfactory. I would recommend providing an entrance to the parallel street, as this would make it easier for elderly guests and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, offering better coffee at breakfast would be appreciated.
