Very well situated hotel for walking to many of the top sites within 15 minutes. That's the only reason I would contemplate staying again. This "concept" isn't really great. The "self" check-in didn't work and the area where you do this is cramped and not easily accessible. I also could have provided the guest details before hand, saving a lot of time. Therefore service is a 1. The room is okay, I guess. Bathroom generously sized but no place to store luggage or clothes, really. 6 hangars between two people for 4 nights doesn't work. Small fridge drawer very good. Also the iPad controller decides when it wants to work. I set an alarm, didn't go off. The climate fan never changes speed, so takes forever to actually adjust the temperature. Impossible to get lights the way you want them. I don't want moods, I want to read. 2 English Speaking channels on tv, both bews.

We were nervous ahead of our stay reading all the negative reviews, but ended up being very pleased with this hotel! Staff was readily available as needed and all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small and minimal, but were modern, clean and had everything we needed including cool a/c, comfy bed and nice shower. Amenities were great with a cool vibe all around; cold water station to refill our bottles, tasty breakfast, large area to sit and relax, and cool rooftop self-serve bar. Location was perfect; walkable to many key places in Rome! Will stay here again on next visit.

I had a wonderful stay at citizenM Roma. The hotel feels modern, fresh, and very well maintained. My room was exceptionally clean and looked new, and the air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver during this extreme hot summer. The bed was also comfy. It was fun controlling the lights, the temperature and the tv with the iPad in the room. What really made my stay memorable, though, was the hospitality. Charles and Biruk were both incredibly welcoming. Charles made some of the best cocktails I had during my trip, and it was amazing that he even remembered my morning coffee order. Biruk also made excellent coffee and was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. He made checking in easy for and gave me great recommendations for tourist sites and restaurants around, which made exploring the city much easier. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is conveniently close to many of Rome’s main tourist sites, and I was able to walk to several of the places I wanted to visit rather than constantly relying on transportation. In general, the hotel was comfortable, modern, well located, and made even better by genuinely attentive staff. A special gratitude to Charles and Biruk for making my stay feel memorable. I would happily stay here again when visiting Rome.

Perfect stay in Rome! The location was excellent, I could walk almost everywhere. The hotel is in a quiet area, yet only a 5–15 minute walk from lively restaurants, bars, and major attractions. The staff were outstanding friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. As a solo traveler, I found the room small but very well-designed and minimalist, with everything I needed. The air conditioning was excellent, the blackout blinds worked perfectly, and I loved controlling the room with the iPad. Everything was modern, clean, and easy to use. Most importantly, I slept extremely well, which made a huge difference during my trip. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome, especially solo travelers.
