Good Location. Only 20min to walk into the central tourist locations. Taxis were useful and cost around €12-15 back and forth. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaned and beds made up each day. Restaurant opposite is good, too. We had to leave for the airport in the early morning, so the hotel staff thoughtfully prepared the breakfast for us.
Hotel Fiume was a great experience for us. We had some of the best hospitality of any place that we have stayed on our travels around the world. The entire staff was very welcoming and kind. They met us feel really special. Every time we interacted with hotel staff, we were always greeted with a smile and were accommodated for. Carlos managed to find my sunglasses for me that I had left on the table and graciously returned them. He also surprised me with a bottle of champagne in my room for my birthday! What a beautiful gesture! Leonardo checked us in and was very helpful with our bags. He was very kind and an interesting person as well. The breakfast was always really nice! We appreciated all of the different kinds of food they had available for people for breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Rome!
Our wonderful stay at Hotel Fiume Rome began at the check in where the receptionist was very professional and courteous. He smiled and answered all our questions, check in was fast. The hotel location is perfect for us, ten minutes from Termini train station, ten minutes to Mater Dei hospital, with bistros and restaurants across the street or a 3-4 minute walk. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed, nice bathroom. The breakfast was one of the best we have had at a 4 star hotel anywhere. Fresh food, both hot and cold, many gluten free options. Nice offer to make us a cappuccino or other coffee drink and a great cook as well as breakfast staff. Our stay at Hotel Fiume in Rome was generally a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly, kind, and always ready to help. Upon arrival, we were also welcomed with a complimentary welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The rooms were small but very clean, and the housekeeping staff cleaned them every day. The towels were also clean and in good condition. The breakfast was quite limited and so simple, and in our opinion, it did not meet the standard expected from a 4-star hotel.
I stayed at the Hotel Fiume for 7 nights, checked out this morning. The hotel is very pleasant, I had a very nice stay and the room cleaning was great as well, didn't miss anything! Of course if you are wanting a city centre stay without too much walking involved you may want to consider being more central which comes at a financial cost obviously. 20ish minute walk to centre of Rome, for me and my partner we prefer being a little out the way of the hustle and bustle so we don't mind that but I will admit, once you've been out walking from morning till late afternoon, the walk can be a bit much but this is not the hotel's fault. Hotel Fiume is much recommended 👌
