Viajero Hostels Sayulita

NOT 24 hours security as advertised. I had irreplaceable jewellery stolen from our room whilst we were sleeping because there was no one at the front desk. So many rooms of people having stuff stolen which would never have happened had they locked the door or had security as advertised. Absolutely heartbroken and devastated

This place would not recognize my booking.com reservation even after providing them with a confirmation number. Person at the front desk spent two hours trying to waste time in order for me to get less benefits from the time in the room. Also I am almost sure, the room was being "equipped" technologically speaking, something illegal but highly common in Puerto Vallarta. The attendant also mentioned they would offer me an additional night for the trouble 😵‍💫. Next day at noon I had an employee knocking at my door and waiting with pressure for me to pack my stuff. He completely overwrote whatever the first guy at the front desk had said and asked me to leave. A year ago I had an issue with this property, I am, in a few words, not very much liked by their crew since I complained of heavy marihuana smell in rooms and their participation in 4:20 réunions with the guests, so they use this to say I had not been approved to check in but, since I arrived late at night, they assumed I was a no-show. Misleading and false expectations creations are definitely not very professional. Rooms are great and clean. I need to point out that my experience is never other experiences since I am a targeted individual that constantly finds all kinds of obstacles in every day life. Do not come here. If you're expecting an easy vacation. Your best bet is to stay lower in the Sayulita down area. Especially if you're out of shape and keep relaxed. This is not the place for you. There's nowhere nearby grab coffee or snacks or any refreshments. Nice place. But overall it's been very exhausting just being on this vacation so much so that I'm going overly

Absolutely loved staying here! The receptionists are all lovely nice people. I stayed for almost a week split between the dorm and private room. Both were clean, well maintained, and at a good value. The internet was reliable and fast which was great for working remotely and taking video calls. You can easily walk to anywhere in Sayulita from here. In terms of accessibility, just be aware it is at the top of a steep hill, and there are lots of stairs, but you get used to it fairly quickly. But I would 100% stay here again, and highly recommend it.
