Our experience at Hotel Agua de Luna was simply perfect—definitely a 10/10! 🌙✨ From the moment we arrived, the service was incredibly warm and professional. We especially want to highlight Ren and Abril at the front desk, who made us feel welcome at all times with their kindness and willingness to help.
The facilities are beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The attention to detail truly makes a difference and makes the stay even more special.

This a quaint, beautiful hotel off the beaten path. It has a lovely morning coffee shop with delicious breakfast food. The restaurants are about a block away. There’s a hot pool, warm pool and cold pool outside. The top floor is three flights of stairs up. The beach is a ten minute walk through a lovely town with lots of activity and roosters on the road. Very safe for the whole family.
Hotel is very pretty, rooms are spacious.. negative that theres no elevator when you have luggage. The only downfall to the rooms is the nearby clubs are so loud until very late.
So this is a tough one. Staff are awesome. Very helpful and friendly. The facility...another story. The pool courtyard is shaded virtually all day. Sadly not cared for very well. Bird poop and iguana dropping everywhere. The boiler apparently has issues. 24 hours a day a 40 second bello goes of. Starts like a tuba then a conk shell finishing with a sour french horn. This happens every couple minutes day and night! Curtains are poorly sized so the room never darkens but the windows in the shower and lav make reasonable ambient light for a night visit to either.
I get it, it's mexico but they charge premium prices for a Mexican experience and that sucks. Shame .
I’m not one to write reviews unless it’s deserved but I need to give a BIG bouquet to management and Augustine for paying attention to our initial concerns about our room. I was under the assumption from the photos on their website that we would have a balcony with our two queen beds. The next morning he said he had a better room and once he showed us our new room, we were very impressed and grateful for his offer. He even lugged our two heavy cases upstairs for us. We love our spacious room and our balcony! They sure aim to please here! Thank you Agua de Luna for a memorable stay!!
