The driver was waiting for us as we arrived at the airport late at night. He was very friendly and spoke excellent English-which we appreciated after a long day of travel. He knew the city well & gave us tips for safety & places to visit. But most of all, he was a very nice person that we would enjoy spending g more time with. Great friendly driver! I arrived during carnaval at which a lot of blocos were going on. We were stuck in traffic for over an hour at which we decided to park somewhere and he escorted me the rest of the way to my airbnb! We must’ve walked 6 blocks or so. I felt he went above and beyond to help me traveling solo and as a woman. He carried my luggage the whole walk, too. Very grateful for him and will def book him again next time I’m in town. Thank you!

He did not have small bills and when he asked driver if he had change he said “no/ you do. It have to do that. If you are happy I am happy”. Very kind!

We had booked a private city tour and transfers to/ from the airport with Rio Taxi. Communication with Fabiana was really easy via Whatsapp and Fabiana was also able to accommodate a last minute change requested by us. Our guide and drivers were excellent as well, gving us advance notice of when they will arrive for pick up and what to expect during the city tour. I would highly recommend booking with Rio Taxi.
