Tour Angra Dos Reis + Ilha Grande | Departures From Rio De Janeiro

I loved it, Ilha Grande is just amazing. The guide Vivi is adorable and always willing to help. I traveled with my kid, but I don't think the tour is suitable for children, because you have to go 3h by bus (to arrive and to come back), and then the boat does not go to sand beaches until 5pm when it is lunch time and already the end of the tour. But brazilian people are always so friendly, so my kid absolutely loved the tour. We had an amazing day.

The tour itself was fun and indeed took 5 hours. Nowere in the trip description did it say that the tour also includes 6 hours bus rides, 3 hours each way!!! We were picked up from Rio hotel at 645am....and returned back to Rio at 10:30pm!!! We didn't bring medications with us and we're not prepared for a 16 hours day trip. Description should explain that boat ride doesn't depart from Rio to Ilha grande but also includes long bus rides!!! Other then that, actual tour was nice, fun and people were very nice, just was poorly explained before we booked.

It was a good tour. Just felt that the traffic situation could make the trip long, but it’s all worthwhile to visit this Angra dos Reis.

This was a great tour. We were picked up on time, the boat was fun, and the scenery was beautiful! We had so much fun swimming around the boat.

Mass tourism at its best.. instead of trying to protect the area, there are 4 boats in one spot, each of them having 70 or more passengers on board and almost all going swimming and snorkeling at the same time. Really hope this will be restricted in the near future and if not, less and less fish will be there to see! Nevertheless, the tour itself was good, enough opportunities to swim, good guide and great atmosphere on the boat. Food at the buffet was ok.

I found this trip to be unfortunately too long to enjoy very little of the islands. It was just travelling 3 hours there and 3 hours back on a bus. To then get on a boat and do nothing than jump frpm island to island rushing all the time. There was no time to bathed in the sun or swim in the ocean. As soon as you settled they were moving somewhere else. The walk on the forest was too fast and the guides just left without even waiting for the group. The picture package seem great but the pictures were not great quality, maybe the photographer should take an actual photography course so that it’s worth paying for the pictures. Do not recommend to stray so far from Copacabana for this at all.

We had a wonderful time on our trip to Angra dos Reis. The bus had air condition and picked us up at our hotel and the boat trip was beyond beautiful. The buffet was simplistic but adequate and the only downside was how long it took getting there by bus. But nonetheless a fantastic experience. I recommend choosing a day with clear skies for the optimal experience

The tour was great, but our guide really didn’t engage with us. We were the only English speaking people and didn’t get any real direction until we asked the other tour guide what we were allowed to do. While snorkeling, our guide was sleeping downstairs on the boat and when we were driving there his microphone was muffled. We had to ask multiple times what was being said. The bar Luis staff was amazing, food was great, and the tour itself was perfect!

Despite the rainy day we had, it was a very nice and different tour. The guide Valber is very friendly and cheerful

I loved everything. A delight, even with rain it was an excellent outing. Congratulations on the organization and communication, from the beginning I was very well guided by Tiago, and then there was Guide Valber. Too classy people.

The service provided to us was excellent, and especially the attention and kindness of the driver and the boat crew. We want to highlight the role of our guide Jhonf; his kindness and charisma make the experience excellent, always attentive to the needs of his passengers. We were more than satisfied with the experience.

The tour of the islands of Angra was in a boat where we were all tight and the places where we stopped were uncomfortable because of the large number of people and the buffet menu included bad

Disastrous organization from start to finish. The Jhonf guide was supposed to speak English... except that he obviously does not even know “hello”. Result: excursion done entirely in Portuguese/Spanish, so if you don't speak fluently, you're just there to decorate. 30 minutes late, no info the day before, no WhatsApp contact as in serious excursions. We discover on site that we will eat at 4:30 pm... then buffet in fair mode: endless queue, atmosphere total chaos, no explanation on what is included or not. The concept is simple: make you pay absolutely everything. Paid photos, paid mask... and even the lifejacket is paid (yes yes). Obviously, everything is announced once on the boat, when you are already stuck. The boat? A real floating cattle farm: climb first if you want to hope for a seat. And finally, 6 hours of buses announced... 8 hours for us, in a bus worthy of a vestige of East Germany. The site is beautiful, but the organization is a tourist catcher machine. Run away.

I found the experience incredible ❤️🇧🇷.. at first I was afraid for certain comments, but really grateful to this Agency and especially to the guide Bruno, they warned me a month in advance that they were picking us up at the hotel at 7:15am, days before they wrote me on WhatsApp to remind me, (excellent, that shows commitment) On the day of the tour .. at 7:06am Bruno called me to let me know that they were already arriving at the hotel 🏨 to pick us up, very responsible and punctual 💯, everything was very good, Bruno's tour, supervision and guidance, and not to mention the food in the Bar de Luiz 🤤💯. All bem, perfection 💯

The booking worked very well... the impeccable pick up... the trip from river to angra was long, but it was as planned... the guide John very friendly... the boat was very dirty and not comfortable... the complementary activities were very disorganized... the photography service seemed improvised... the food place was BAD, the food was mediocre or worse...

It was cool but here in Brazil you don’t have to be chilly because it puts the Air Conditioning everywhere and on the way back we claim to get sick but otherwise not bad and take small snacks

Very good visit, but almost all the time it is used in the transfer... plus we had arrangements on the pavement so this delayed much longer the arrival on site to take the boat. Despite this the very loving Michelle Guide, the very friendly boat staff as well. Porco time on the island finally, just to have lunch and bath for a brief moment.

Si bien el lugar es bonito, sobrevenden los tour por lo que hay más de 10 barcos con más de 100 personas al mismo tiempo en el mismo lugar. Además, la empresa City Rio Turismo ofrece un muy mal servicio. En la mañana, si no les hablo, no se dan por enterados que tenía una reserva. La guía Michelle si bien tradujo durante el viaje, en todo el tour por el barco, jamás habló en español sobre las características del lugar. Luego, al bajarnos del barco, nos dejó tirados sin saber donde ir. Además, fuimos los primeros a quienes nos pasaron a buscar y los últimos en llegar a nuestro hotel. Deberían planificar de mejor manera el recorrido para comenzar esos tiempos. Pésimo servicio.

I really liked the tour in Angra dos Reis, it was wonderful. I highly recommend! The waters are crystal clear and the restaurant offers a very tasty food.

The place is wonderful, worth knowing. With regard to the excursion itself it leaves much to be desired. I play us as a guide Francesca, unfriendly. The cold weather on the bus made many of us sick, even after 15 days, claiming that if the air was turned off it fogged the glass. And we already started badly, since they didn't like the observation. It takes a long time to leave Rio as it passes by all the hotels where there are travelers and these, many times are not ready. Be careful that the excursion only includes the buffet lunch that is when the walk ends (5 or 6 in the afternoon) and is a disaster, ice cream, little and very bad taste. The rest pays for everything, snorkeling, floats, vests, photos, drinks, food, entrance fee to the islands, everything. I repeat, it is worth knowing Angra, but if they manage to get a more personalized excursion, do it.

The experience was wonderful! Everything went according to the itinerary that was provided to us at the time of booking the tour, all the staff was attentive and helpful at all times, the food was delicious. There was no pressure to buy or acquire anything, the option was offered and each person saw whether to take it or not. The landscapes are captivating.

It's my second trip with the company, I've already visited Arraial do Cabo and Angra with them. The tours are incredible through wonderful places. I recommend.

In general, the experience, the places and the view are beautiful. The negative points you should consider before taking this particular boat: - super uncomfortable bathroom without soap. - Photo service is expensive and bad, they take the photos in a hurry. - The vodka is fixed, and it is not a small quantity... you see how they prepare it for you. - Given the price quality, you will get a small bus, which on a 3-hour trip can be uncomfortable if you are taller than 1.80. The excellent thing about the tour, the guide Valber, is excellent! He is from Rio but speaks super fluent Spanish, with a lot of kindness and friendliness, he always made us feel comfortable and safe, concerned about our well-being and in general about all the members of his group.

We spent a great day visiting the Big Island with a beautiful boat trip with paradisiacal stops and swims surrounded by fish. A magical experience

Wonderful tour, beautiful landscapes. The guide and boat staff were very attentive. The day was very good, we managed to enjoy it a lot, Angra dos Reis is a paradisiacal place, we loved visiting it.

As always, Ilha Grande is a good experience. The excursion staff was very friendly. The only problem was that the price that appeared in AR$ on the page when we purchased was approximately double that on Viator. If I had known that this was going to happen, I wouldn't have gone.
