Our guide, Bernardo, was very professional and knowledgeable. You could tell he is passionate about the area and was easy to interact with. We saw areas of the forest we would have not been able to without having a car like the hike to the bat cave. We did see monkeys and toucans. There was only another couple in our group which made the experience more personable.
Great visit to Tijuca. We had a challenging hike with Victor, a very experienced rock climber. He took our amateur group and assisted us no matter what our limitations were. He was very knowledgeable about the area & gave so many interesting Insights to our hike in Tijuca. It was well worth the $$.

Best tour of our trip. Eduardo was funny and entertaining as well as knowledgeable. We saw sloths and monkeys and waterfalls and a cave and beautiful views. He was considerate of my old knees. This was a very different view of Rio from the traffic filled center of town. Iโm so glad we did this tour with him.
Guide picked up us from our hotel then took us to the national park. A great afternoon, exploring the rain forest where there were lots of monkeys. We also visited 4 different water falls and a cave. Our guide kindly took some great photos for us and was very informative throughout the 4 hours. Great value for money.
My kids and I took a tour of Tijuca National Park with Eduardo and Larissa, and it was an amazing day filled with beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. Our guides made sure every member of our small group had a great experience โ giving us ample time at every stop and frequently offering to take photos for us. Larissa has a great eye for spotting wildlife hidden in the dense rainforest. Thanks to her, we spotted several monkeys, birds, and even a sloth perched high up among the trees. Eduardo is hilarious, constantly keeping us entertained with jokes and interesting stories along the way. The high point (pun intended) of the tour was a hike up a mountain, where we were rewarded with a panoramic view of Rio and the breathtaking scenery surrounding it. Great day all around!

The views we saw on the hike were superb, and the waterfall was gorgeous. But standout of this trip was our guide - Bernardo. He was very informative and cool to be around. He spoke English, and we had a lot of fun with him. he didnโt rush us and encouraged us to take our time at each stop. He took great pictures as well. Our kids absolutely loved him! Thanks Bernardo!

Saw so much of the forest in just a few hours - a summit hike with an amazing view,, 2 waterfalls (bring a swimsuit!), 2 kinds of monkeys, many birds, and a drive to the Pagoda overlook. And Bernardo was a fun and knowledgeable guide.
Our tour ended up being on a rainy day but Eduardo and Larissa did everything they could to make sure it was an awesome experience! We got to see beautiful waterfalls, a cave, and some birds, monkeys, and sloths! Eduardo also made sure we left we some great pictures to remember our visit with!
What an absolute sensational day we had today with our amazing tour guide Eduardo La Pasta. We got picked up from outside our hotel and as soon as I meet Eduardo I knew it was going to be a great day. Eduardo went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day, we saw some amazing animals in the forest and Eduardo captured some perfect pictures. There was 6 of us on the tour and I thought it was just the right amount of numbers to tour with as it wasnโt to over crowded. The whole day I didnโt stop smiling, I was just taking the amazing views all in. Thank you so much to Eduardo you are fantastic at your job and we are glad you were our tour guide for today. When I come back to Brazil we will ๐ฏ book again ๐
Gorgeous views. The. Hike is hard but worth it! Guide very kind. The waterfalls are really pretty. You can drink water from the fountains that look like bathtubs in some places!
Eduardo and Larissa were fantastic as guides. Their expert local knowledge of the Tijuca area resulted in several species of birds and wildlife encounters. We were fortunate to see a Sloth, Toucans which is not a common encounter. Eduardo offered great photo/ video opportunities. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this tour.
Amazing tour - Eduardo is a brilliant guide, so lively and fun but also very knowledgeable and informative. He made the day very enjoyable and easy. The views after the hike are insane, the cave is very cool, and the last viewpoint topped off a brilliant day. Highly recommend!!

Not only were they both incredibly kind and very funny, they were also highly knowledgeable about the city, forest, and wildlife. We got to see so many amazing animals in the wild, and our guides were extremely accommodating all hiking and athletic levels in our group of 9. The views were amazing, and the photos that our guides took were fantastic. We would 100% recommend them!

Myself and 5 others (3 from Liverpool, 2 from Texas) spent the day with Eduardo and Larissa. We had a great hike through the forest to crest a peak for a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding area. Beyond that, we saw a couple waterfalls, a cave, and a couple monkeys. It was a great time. Eduardo is very knowledgeable and personable. Plus, we had the added benefit of Larissa joining us on her birthday! :-) I misplaced my phone, and Eduardo even helped me recover it. All-in-all, a worthwhile experience plus I probably sweat off like 5 pounds of water weight on the hike! LOL
What an incredible tour! Eduardo and Natalie were excellent guides on a fun and interesting hike. They took us to many incredible view points, pointed out the numerous animals (5 sloths!!! Lots of monkeys!!! Toxic caterpillar!!!) we passed along the way and took outstanding photos and videos of us. We met 2 other couples on the tour and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. They were very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area and we learned so much! The hike itself was perfect ( not too long or strenuous) and we got to see waterfalls, majestic views, and a cave. We highly recommend this tour!

Very happy with our trip. Jalmir, our guide, was brilliant. Excellent English and very considerate and knowledgeable. Jalmir also went out of his way with pickup and drop off, as we were not staying at one of the designated hotels. When booking, be careful you understand which currency they are quoting and allow time to resolve any variation, like pickup location and whether there is an additional fee for this - TripAdvisor were not very good at confirming this detail before booking. If you want a great rainforest experience, this is the tour for you. Eduardo taught us about the plants, trees, and wildlife. He did this all in a very interesting way and added a bit of humor along the way. And the cherry on top was he took amazing pictures of us, he didnโt have to do this, but it captured great memories.
Very fun tour exploring the Tijuca Forest with probably the best funniest tour guide Iโve ever had Eduardo La Pasta, he made the tour 10 times better a lot of laughs shared and very knowledgeable and engaged with the wild life, he really tryโs his hardest even when there was only 3 people on the tour! Can tell he loves what he does! Will recommend to anyone coming to Rio!

Eduardo was a fantastic guide through the Tijuaca Forest. We didnโt feel like we were on a tour, it felt like we were hanging out with a family friend. He took us to beautiful spots in the forest and helped us take some breathtaking photos. We would highly recommend visiting the forest with Eduardo.
Eduardo was such a funny, knowledgeable, experienced, and kind guide. He also takes great pictures! The weather wasnโt great (it was really cloudy) so we didnโt have a great view at the view points he wanted to take us to. I still had so much fun!
We had a great time. We saw multiple waterfalls, different animals, even a sloth! We also hiked to a large cave. The park is a must for nature lovers and the hosts are helpful and welcoming.

We did the 5-hour Tijuca Rainforest hike with Victor and had an excellent experience. Despite rain preventing access to Sector A, Victor quickly adjusted the plan and took us to several beautiful waterfalls instead. This is a challenging hike requiring good fitness and comfort with uneven terrain, but it was incredibly rewarding. Victor is a knowledgeable, experienced, and safety-focused guide who knows the forest extremely well. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a real rainforest experience.

Alexandre was very knowledgeable and based the route on our abilities as hikers. He made sure we were comfortable with a rock scramble before attempting. Small group and recommended us an excellent place for lunch afterwards.
Great experience! Sergio our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We saw lots of different tropical plants, did some cave exploration and even saw a family of rare bugio monkeys in the trees!
