Get ready to experience one of Rio de Janeiro’s most unforgettable experiences: watching the sun rise or set off the Two Brothers Hill, with a breathtaking view, guided by a local resident. We will meet at the entrance of Vidigal, where you will be greeted by your Guide, a resident of the region, who knows every corner and shares stories and curiosities throughout the journey. We will climb part of the hill with a typical transportation of the community: a local motor taxi or van. It is an authentic and fast experience that takes us to the beginning of the trail. A moderate track of 1.5 km, in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, leads to the summit of Morro Dois Irmãos, at 533m altitude. During the journey, we will make stops to rest, take photos and enjoy the visual (we provide LATTERNS FOR ALL). Arriving at the summit, you will be presented with one of the most beautiful views of Rio, you can see: The banks of Ipanema and Leblon, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Cristo Redentor, Pedra da Gávea and much of the south-california area You will have time to relax, contemplate and record this unique moment. The Guide can take pictures for you and also give tips for the best angles.

I had an amazing moment with Jessie during the hike. It sure was hard one, probably one of the hardest I experienced lol, but definitely worth it ! The view at the end was mesmerizing and it’s among the things I prefered in Brazil
100% worthy! I had some issues finding my guide at the meeting point; however, I got support from the agency via Whatsapp until she reached me. The guide was very supportive; she took very good pictures. The trekking is good but the views at the top are astonishing! Be prepared for a quick motorcycle ride. The trail is basic with some parts a little inclined; nonetheless, some people might get short of breath. It definitely pays off waking up that early!

5/5. I enjoyed the hike at Two Brother Mountain. The hike is definitely a moderate activity, so make sure your legs and knees are good, and that your heart can manage cardio activity. We had Alex as our guide, he helped us on some of the slippery inclines, took our pictures. Once you reach the top, the view is so worth it. Definitely recommend.

The guide was super helpful getting us on top of dos irmaos, provided helpful tips and we were able to watch the sunrise from the first row. It was amazing, def would do it again.
Our experience with this agency was unacceptable from start to finish. We booked a Dois Irmãos guided tour specifically advertised as conducted in English, yet upon arrival we were casually informed that no English-speaking guide was available and that ours spoke only Spanish or Portuguese. This is not a minor inconvenience — it is a complete failure to deliver the core service we paid for. As a result, communication during the tour was extremely limited. The guide provided virtually no explanations, context, or insight, and contributed nothing beyond pointing out an obvious trail that is clearly marked and easy to follow independently. In practical terms, we paid a premium price for something we could have done alone for free. What is most concerning is the company’s attitude afterward. When I contacted them to request a refund for the service they failed to provide, they refused to take responsibility and instead blamed the situation on their inability to reach me by phone — despite having other obvious ways to contact me, such as email. This response shows a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. We deliberately chose this agency over cheaper alternatives because we expected reliability and quality. Instead, we didn’t even receive the most basic element promised. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere unless they are willing to risk paying more for less.
Be careful with this company. Very unprofessional. They said the hike was at 3am and they failed to message us and tell us about a time change at 2am. Better find another company.
This was such a beautiful hike!!! Our guide was really wonderful, and was very kind when my partner was struggling some with the pace. We definitely felt better doing it with a guide, and the views at the top were SO worth it.

Facu and Jesse were great hosts for our group. The sunrise hike was great with stellar views of Rio. It’s a moderate hike so wear shoes with good grip.
The guide never showed up and didn’t bother to call me until I reached out to her. Her excuse was that she couldn’t get an Uber on time, but that shouldn’t have stopped her from notifying me. Our meeting point was a favela at 3am. She knew this and still didn’t make an effort to notify us on time, which could have avoided us driving there.
I spent 1 week between Rio de Janerio and Ilha Grande and Rodrigo helped orangise 3 trips for me, all of which were amazing! In addition, he also provided recommendations on places to eat and visit too. I took a boat tour to gruta de acaia and sunrise hike to pico do papagaio whilst on Ilha grande. Both trips were very well organised and Rodrigos communication was perfect. I then did the sunrise hike to dois irmaos which was absolutely beautiful! If you need help with Rodrigo is the person to contact, he really is amazing.
An unforgettable end to our trip to Rio. Travelled from Scotland for a long weekend before our onward trip to Patagonia, and this was the highlight of our weekend. Yes it’s an early start, yes it’s a moderately tough 45min hike but it was well worth it. We had the pleasure of hiking with Rodrigo who is a local to Rio, but with exceptional English! A few things I wish I’d known before the trip. 1. There are plenty of Ubers in Copacabana at 3am, and they are very cheap. Also the roads are very quiet so you don’t need as much time to get anywhere. Our 28 minute estimate checked on Google maps the night before took 15 minutes from Copacabana. 2. The square where we meet is at the foot of the Favela, and even at this time of the morning it is busy, and felt safe. We had the tour of the Favela the day before and it was explained to us how the crime is very low here. I’ve felt more out of place in some European or US cities. There is also a couple of stands selling drinks and food. 3. The moto taxis are used across the Favela, depending on the numbers sometimes there are vans/mini buses. This was how we traveled with 10+ hikers. 4. If you are late it affects the rest of the hikers, we had a group arrive very late and were also slow on the hike, unprepared for the walk. There is time to do the hike at an easy pace and make the sunrise but if you are late and slow other hikers will push on, Rodrigo made sure he was checking on everyone and even with this we made it in perfect time for sunrise. 5. take a snack and water, obvious to us but do take something to eat and drink, we had a protein bar and water. 6. Spend less time on the stops on the way up, you see them better on the way down and have time to hear more about the area. Keep an eye out for Monkeys! 7. You do not need fancy footwear but we had hiking trainers that were much better as it can be a bit slippery. And that’s about it… if you are considering this tour and you are put off by the time of day, traveling through the Favela or anything else, do not worry, just book it! you will not regret this, Rodrigo is on hand the whole time, is excellent at taking pictures on the top including with his drone, and the views and scenery are amazing (wether dependent)

Very challenging hike but the views are totally worth it. The hike was a little over a mile, up the mountain all the way. Our guide, Milena, was amazing. Everything was well organized.
I spent a whole week in Rio, and this hike was my absolute best experience. I was a little nervous before the motor ride, but it went quite well. The hike isn't easy, but it's well worth it. The view and sunset were simply fantastic. My guide was very good.

Wow! What an experience! The hike was a little tough if you are not in the best of shape but sooo worth it when you get to the top! Rodrigo and his brother were the best guides! They were always communicating with me and the rest of the group. Giving everyone information on whats around the area, asking if we needed assistance, etc. The view on top of the mountain is spectacular and worth all the sweat and suffering you go through going up lol! Definitely recommend this tour!

This hike was an absolute blast – the people, the vibe, simply everything was perfect! Rodrigo, our guide, is such an open, friendly, and supportive person. He took time for everyone, had conversations with all of us, captured the best photos, and made sure we had by far the most amazing spot on the mountain.
