She brought us up through the favela exploring and gave his a lot of information about the cultures, people and history of rocinha of Brazil. I had such an amazing time on this experience! It was so much fun, exciting, and truly unforgettable. One of my favorite parts was meeting new people and getting to experience one of Rio’s most iconic places with a local. Our guide, Maria Clara, was absolutely wonderful. She was always attentive, caring, and making sure we were having a great time while also keeping us safe throughout the entire experience. You could really tell that she cared about making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the day. I honestly loved being able to explore the favela with someone who is local and could give us a more authentic experience and perspective. Maria Clara made the experience even more special with her kindness and great energy. I highly recommend this experience, especially if you want to see a different and authentic side of Rio de Janeiro. I would definitely do it again! ❤️🇧🇷

The guide Sophia was lovely but honestly apart from seeing nice landscapes there’s not much information which is shared about the community or the history of the favela. You’re asked to give money at each stop so it feels more of a tourist trap

Our tour guide Clara made the visit to the Rocinha favela an immersive experience. With her open-minded and cheerful nature, she led us right through her favela and told us many exciting general and also personal details about the history and life in the Rocinha community in perfect English and Spanish. We felt in great hands from the beginning and safe throughout, which was also due to the fact that Clara always explained exactly in which streets you were allowed to take photos and where your phone had to stay in your pocket. The motorcycle taxi ride at the beginning of the tour to the top of the favela was also perfectly organized. At the viewpoints, we were always given enough time to take photos and to look at the panorama over the favela in peace. The visit to the social project "Capoeira," where three children interactively introduced us to the Brazilian martial dance, was also particularly impressive. We would highly recommend the favela tour with Jupiter Tour and especially with Clara.

I don't know the other guides, but we got Priscila, who is the best one we could have gotten... explaining every detail of how Rocinha was formed from its beginnings and explaining every sector to perfection.. highly recommended.. if you can choose her as a guide, even better.. regards

We did the tour in 4 with Juçara a very nice welcoming and prepared guide!! He greeted us at the meeting point and then took us to the motorcycles that took us to a scenic point, after we went to a small school in capoeira on a terrace with a breathtaking view, in which we were welcomed by two boys and a woman. We attended a capoeira performance and then we all danced together! Beautiful also the video experience with the drone! Highly recommended!!
