Would 100% recommend doing this. It was incredible. The tour operator Rio2Fly were amazing as well, very well organised!

Well worth the money , make sure you go on a clear day the views are unreal , goes by so quick though , would of preferred a 1/2 more minutes at Christ the redeemer

Absolutely fantastic experience! Must be done if at all possible while in Rio. The pilot pointed out all the different sites to us and we were able to put our legs out at certain points. On the ground the staff are amazing. I had contact with Rebeca constantly and she was so helpful and everyone who looked after us before and after the flight was great. Wagner was really great with us after the flight! So friendly and helpful.

Must do if you have limited time in Rio. Skip the crowds and the lines and see this beautiful city and all it has to offer from the sky! Rio2Fly is a professional company with great staff and facilities. Thank you for a wonderful experice!

We booked the open-door helicopter experience with Rio2Fly and it was absolutely out of this world from start to finish. We were a little behind schedule on the day, but it didn’t matter at all as the waiting area was a relaxed little bar and garden space that made it easy to unwind before the flight. Everything felt calm, well organised and welcoming. Once in the air, it was simply breathtaking. Flying over Christ the Redeemer with the doors open is something that’s hard to put into words — it’s just one of those experiences you’ll never forget. The guide in the air was amazing too, constantly pointing things out and making the whole experience even more special. We’d originally booked for a Tuesday, but the team contacted us the day before to say the weather looked better that afternoon and offered us the chance to switch. We did and it was completely worth it. Honestly, just an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

I enjoyed it so much! It was the first time I bought a tour without doors. It was breathtaking! The flight itself and the view, of course! I would do that again with no doubt.

This was the best experience of my life! I've been wanting to do this helicopter tour for as long as I can remember, and I finally crossed it off my bucket list. To say it was worth it, would not be enough. This tour, flight, service, employees, amenities, process, everything was beyond perfect. Not only did the actual flight completely exceed my expectations from how truly magical it was, but the pilot was so professional, made us feel safe, gave us amazing views (even turning the helicopter around at the major points so we could see from both sides) and overall such a smooth ride. From the moment I booked through whatsapp, the response was quick, friendly and helpful. The tour options and pricing were explained clearly, with route maps and instructions for payment and day of logistics and was so easy to get to in uber with the location they provide. But then once we arrived on site, we had 10/10 experience, especially with Gabriel. He helped get us checked in, suited up, briefed with safety instructions and answered all questions we had, not only professionally but with a great attitude and smile on his face. This establishment is well run, accommodating, professional, clean and has beautiful views. Aside from that, they have a bar and snacks to order while you wait, safety procedures are clear and quick, they provide high-quality cellphone holder for you to take footage on your ride as well as lockers for anything you can't bring with you. Hands down the BEST tour experience and company I've ever booked with. I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be going back.

Amazing experience!!! Our pilot Ed was fantastic.

They cancelled less than 3 hours before our flight and no options available to reschedule. Terrible customer service and no reply about the cancellation. We planned our whole trip around this tour and very disappointed with the lack of reply and willingness to put it right.

Both Gabriel’s were very friendly and made the experience very relaxed. Unreal experience!

What an amazing, unforgettable, bucket list experience in Rio! The Rio2Fly team treated me so well. We’d heard that the people before us couldn’t see Christ the Redeemer because a cloud kept hovering on top so they allowed us to wait around a bit before hopping in our doors off helicopter…and that allowed us to not only see HIM but during the sunset. Captured the perfect pictures with my Nike’s glistening in the air. So grateful.

Rio from above is breathtaking, but the team made it even better. Big thanks to the two Gabrie, Wagner and Ju for being so welcoming! The entire staff is professional and incredibly kind, but what I appreciated most was their strict focus on safety. It made me feel totally at ease so I could just enjoy the view. If you're in Rio, don't miss out!

It was absolutely amazing experience smooth flying nothing to worry about, very safe, was so awesome to stick your legs out the door and we got to see Christ the Redeemer which was awesome 11/10 do it.

Very good experience. Pretty well established safety protocols and communication of expectations. It was a bit of a downer of Christo Redentor being cloudy but it was outside the control of the tour operator. Would highly recommend to others.

Once we got on the helicopter, it was a 10/10 experience!! The pilot was communicative and we felt very safe. We booked a 5:30 flight for sunset. We received little communication when we first got there, around 5:15. At 5:45 we asked, and they said they moved us for 6 for the sunset. However, we did our research and knew 5:30 was best. We took off around 6:10, only catching a few minutes of beautiful sunset. The majority of our tour was in the dark. While that was a unique experience, it was not the experience we paid for and was looking forward to.

The company is well organized. Great communication! The 1.5 drive from Copacabana at rush hour was long. Safety standards were observed at every point. And the views!!!!! Amazing!

We had a 1:00 PM helicopter tour scheduled and ended up waiting an hour and a half before boarding. That was just the beginning of a very disappointing experience. Once we were finally in the air, there was zero communication throughout the entire flight due to a technical issue. We spent the whole tour listening to loud static noise instead of any kind of guidance or narration. When it came time for the “feet out” portion — something people are usually excited about — no instructions or warning were given. It just happened without any communication. On top of that, we paid specifically for a Spanish tour, and there was absolutely no Spanish provided. And worst of all, they didn’t even take us to see Christ the Redeemer, which is one of the main reasons people book this experience. The tour is extremely expensive and simply not worth the money. Save yourself the frustration — look for other options.

This was an incredible way to experience Rio! We did the doors-off helicopter tour on Christmas Eve, and the staff was exceptional from start to finish. I thought I might be nervous about having the doors off, but I’m so glad we chose it over the standard tour — it was absolutely worth the extra cost. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough!

Wait time was too long especially after requesting us to come 1 hour early. We ended up waiting for 1.5 hours. It therefore felt there was no need to arrive 1 hour as required.

Everything was great! It was easily booked, the manager wrote off the day before and confirmed the reservation. On the spot, they gave instructions and provided equipment for the phone so that it would be convenient to take videos and photos. The flight itself was great, it was very comfortable and not scary! An unforgettable experience!

10/10. Don’t read too many reviews, just go and let yourself be surprised by the experience. One of my favourite travel experiences.

Flying over Rio de Janeiro by helicopter was hands down one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Seeing the city from above is something words can barely describe, the views of the coastline, the mountains, and the city itself were simply breathtaking. Everything felt professional and safe from start to finish. The pilot was friendly, calm, and clearly very experienced, which made the whole experience even better. Taking off and soaring above such an iconic city gave me chills, it’s a totally different perspective of Rio that you just can’t get from the ground. If you’re in Rio and considering this experience, do it without hesitation. It’s worth every second and every cent. I would 100% do it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

Hanging out of the helicopter at two points, once over the ocean just off the coastline and again near Christ the Redeemer, was absolutely exhilarating. Seeing the statue and the city from this perspective is something you can’t get any other way. Flying along the coastline was a highlight, with the ocean on one side and the city on the other. The views were incredible and the whole experience felt safe, professional, and very well run. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to see Rio.

Had a brilliant flight with Rio2Fly, right from the lovely security guard in a very nice uniform at the gate, to the team who got me ready for the windowless chopper and then the brilliant pilot It was excellent.Magnificent views, flew over thermalling egrets and vultures, the beaches looked magnificent, and Christ the Redeemer was even better in person that the photos!

I arrived Tuesday, Aug 19 and scheduled my flight for 5pm Wednesday so I can see sunset colors. August is a winter month in the southern hemisphere but we had PERFECT weather. The staff is remarkable. The pilot was obviously very experienced. They had 3 helicopters flying for both closed and open- door flights. There is a safety brief and the harness even has a strong tether for your smart phone and/or fancy camera. People wearing sandals must go barefoot so the shoes don’t become missiles to the people below or in the heli. IMPORTANT INFO: I scheduled my Uber pickup before flight started which staff will remind you to do. ALSO, the ride took 60” going there (I left at 2p from Copacabana) and 90” back. YES, NINETY MINUTES because of rush hour traffic!!

We booked the 17 pm tour and seeing the sunset above the clouds was simply amazing! The staff and the pilot have been super kind and made us feel safe the whole time. Highly recommended!

This was the most impressive thing I've ever seen. If you visit Rio this is definitely something you need to see.
