great for arrivals. After long flight from UK and early morning arrival, used the lounge for few hours as hotel check in time was later. Lounge easy to find from arrivals terminal, staff welcoming. Use of the shower facilities on arrival was a blessing. There are private rooms to rent for a few hours, there were nine available. But the shower failures and use of lounge was perfect for a few hours. The lounge area is small, has a few TV, snacks to order - sandwiches panini, coffees wine Fridge with juice, water, beer all included in price. Would recommend the lounge

Amazing if you are passing through, or you had a long wait until your flight. We had 10 hours waiting for our flight, and it was a real lifesaver to find this priority lounge. The even have rooms that you can rent by the hour… we paid $60 USD and had a room with a bathroom and shower, exceptional food and service. It was worth every penny and it’s propably one of the cleanest lounges we have been! It’s hard to find it but, it’s worth it! It’s on landslide, in the first floor of the parking garage as you exit door D.

After disembarking a cruise ship and tour that ended at 1:30 with a flight not until 9 and the bag drop not open until 5, this lounge provided the perfect interim hangout. I used the lovely shower. Miguel A. was extremely helpful. The snacks are limited but can't beat the price when you have nowhere else to go with a shower, drinks and snacks included.

Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I think miss out on that the price and convenience of this was absolutely great! Alcoholic drinks and food was included, and the location was clean and comfortable. My only issue was that it seemed very very popular and was practically full, but it was so much better than waiting in the standard airport area where the chairs were uncomfortable, noisy, and there were several panhandlers that were overly insistent on the "necessity" of my shoes needing to be shined (new balance mesh runners?!) and demanded payment regardless. Would very much recommend, and suspect that having to pay for only 3 hours was mostly due to the popularity. If I were to return I would gladly pay the amount (35USD, but you could get a 35% discount signing up for smart traveller app). Only regret is we didn't make the choice to stay longer (we had a 10hr wait for our flight before the Gate was opened).

Miguel the manager and team provided excellent customer service. Food are prepared hot as you order and not buffet style which makes it special. Coffee was excellent and the variety of drink options alcoholic or non alcoholic.

Nothing special. Minimal food and drink options. This was my second time visiting and both times it was crowded. Some of the furniture is old and broken, also not very clean. If it’s not included in your ticket, it doesn’t worth paying for. Better food and sitting options in the airport. If anything, this lounge is a stressful and crowded place rather than a place to chil before the flight.

Food very bad, no internet. It’s clean, it’s big but is very poor in services , food options, I don’t see the employees. good Luck

The Plaza Premium Lounge had an attractive fit-out and seemed to have a reasonable food and drink offering.We were directed to the lounge as the One-World Lounge (American Airlines-LATAM ) was not open at the time visited. I would not have paid the entrance fee had access ot been free.

Not sure what the problem is with the Plaza Premium lounges at the GIG airport but each time I have used them with my Priority pass membership they tell me my card is no good. The first time I went I stayed at their front desk calling my bank who informed me my card was good. I presented it again and magically it worked. Same thing at their other locations. The front staff are more surly in attitude than American airlines flight attendants. Food is slightly below average. Chairs and spaces spacious and comfortable however a bit worn and dirty. I certainly would not pay to use these facilities.

Tried to get into the Plaza Premium Lounge in Rio de Janeiro's Galeo. The person at the reception, Louis Felipe, told me, I have no access with my American Express Platinum Card, because the AmEx logo is not in the center of the card and only pet, who have the logo in the center are allowed in, because my card is a counterfeit!!!!!! I live in Dubai - there are no AmEx cards with the middle logo issued by the Bahraini provider. It was embarrassing, the guy was unfriendly and arrogant and I feel ashamed of this treatment in this city which I called home for so many years. Totally unacceptable! And NO - I do definitely not want to receive any of the standardized apology reply. To be honest- I hope that I spare other AmEx customers that embarrassment- do yourselves a favor, go somewhere else!

We had access to the lounge courtesy of our flight status and to be honest I wouldn't have paid the £46 admission fee, knowing what I know now. The place is ok, just alright, nothing to shout about and is far better than just waiting at the gate. You have to order soft drinks at the bar which is a bit of a pain if theres a queue. There was a hot / cold buffet selection of pasta and cheese potatoes, lasagne and a meat dish etc. Not too much choice. The lounge is quite spacious

Great place and super clean, but I got kind of confused to have a menu on the bar countertop with cafes and when we asked the attendant to talk that we have to get ourselves

There is no option for coeliacs. Everything they offer has gluten.

An Excellent Lounge, located on domestic shipping. Very comfortable and spacious. Good place for meals before the flight.

Visit on 29/07/2024 Spectacular experience. If it wasn’t for a VIP room with a structure like this, my trip would be extremely exhausting. Super comfortable armchairs for a deserved rest after a very long trip. Excellent buffet lunch and various types of drinks. Great service. Nothing to complain about. The experience was excellent. Do not rely on recent ratings from the poorly loved ones. The room is great. This people has a king in their belly.

The Plaza Premium group manages the VIP rooms of Galeão, which brings to light a dangerous dichotomy: predictability as safety or monotony by repetition. When the Star Alliance room is closed and becomes inactive due to the small number of users depending on the time, whoever has access is directed to the next room. The space is inviting, the illuminated amadeirado refers to a chic indoor guesthouse, and the division of indoor environments is quite interesting. The bathroom could be more spacious, you can imagine a queue if the room is half full. The paper towel could be of better quality and not having moisturizer or offering dental kit is lack of public vision. The morning buffet before 6 o'clock seems like the middle of the night with another presentation. I honestly didn't have the desire to eat anything excited by what was there... Matte tea and flavored water were the beverages; only juice that aqueous and intragable nectar of a box. I confess that I was disappointed, because I was expecting access to the Star Alliance room next door, which I always visited for flights in the afternoon and evening. It may have been a punctual impression due to the schedule, but it was not good - should you have gone to the GOL room in the middle of the hallway??

I gave a pass to have some breakfast. He was restored but has little choice. The mixed egg was almost burned. I've seen better room buffets from vips.

Very few food options! And the extremely arrogant receptionist is unprepared to give the minimum care a person needs. I'm glad he's in the morning and he must have little contact with people. Terminal 2 Lounge - In the parking lot.

Spacious and comfortable, bathrooms well mounted and clean, with amenities, hairdryer and towels (could be of better quality). Our access was completely free because we would travel from Rio de Janeiro to Rome in ITA Executive Class. Very good!

As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attendant who informed us how to register on the App and was very helpful with all our questions, a 10 for her service. The room is beautiful, very comfortable, bathrooms clean and fragrant. However, there are very few options on the menu, there is no buffet, we have to order at the counter, where we wait a while, as some food will still be heated. The day I went, the options were: mini chicken knee and pastry (mini messsmo), natural sandwich (half a slice), mini pizza and mini chocolate quiche for dessert. Given the reputation this room has, I expected to find something much better, all the others I've been to had much less fame, this one is 10 to zero.

No white wine, no juices, food with few options. Bad staff serving drinks. I paid for vegetarian companion access and managed to eat only potatoes.

The room is very beautiful, large, lots of seats and when we arrived it was quite empty. After a fee to enable the app and gain access, we were well served, but disappointed with the food offered. Very little variety in the morning and there was no cake or pie. In much smaller rooms I have found much more variety. I liked it but didn't love it!

Chegamos à sala vip com dúvidas se tínhamos algum cartão de crédito que desse acesso ao lounge. Isabel, recepcionista do lounge, nos ajudou com tudo, indicando os cartões, o app que deveríamos baixar e fez nosso check in de maneira muito cortez e atenciosa. O lounge é lindo, espaçoso e confortável. Além das comidinhas, há um bar com drinks como caipirinha, gin tônica, além de cafés, cervejas e vinhos.

Ambiente super comportável, espaçoso, organizado. Iluminação adequada, vale cada minuto no plaza premium

O buffet é péssimo. É uma enganação . Sopa de abóbora rala! Pratos quentes : arroz, feijão, macarrão e frango guisado ! Nem as frutas estão bem apresentadas. Tudo parece velho e passado ! Opção de pão doce. Não tem frios para um sanduíche ! Tem granola mas não o iogurte . O pudim está todo cortado em pedaços já no prato, se desmanchando . Um desastre !

Infelizmente estas ala VIP está cada dia pior. Agora o horário de funcionamento é de 14h às 22h. Além disso, o cardápio de bebidas deixa muito a desejar. A sala VIP da AMBAR em Fortaleza, apesar de ser menor, é muito mais aconchegante, tem mais funcionário pra atender, o menu de bebidas é infinitamente maior, sem comparação. Não vale a pena pagar pra ter acesso a essa sala VIP. Espero sinceramente que revejam e melhorem o serviço, visto que a estrutura da sala é muito boa, mas se o serviço prestado, horário e o cardápio não forem satisfatórios, não adianta nada.

Apesar do horário de funcionamento ser anunciado como sendo às 22h, os funcionários recolhem tudo às 21h30 e informam aos passangeiros que não estão mais funcionando.

Péssimo atendimento, serviço deplorável. Não pague para utilizar esse local, uma furada. Utilizei meu cartão, gastei uma visita inutilmente.

Serviço medíocre. Levaram meses para se organizar durante a pandemia. Comida sofrível. É melhor fechar o lounge. A moça que deveria repor os serviços, disse que ela não repunha talheres. Fui reclamar 3 vezes com concierge e nada. É uma bergonha

T foi super gentil. Explicou que nenhum cartão está sendo aceito, pelo que entendi só o Amex ( não emitido pelo Bradesco)., pq eles tem sala. No Galeão Rio não tem. Paguei p mim e convidada. Buffet razoável de massa, bebidas e sossego. Horário 11:40h. 2 a feira, 25/10/21. Os cartões de crédito cobram anuidade e não devolvem nada… pena… vou cancelar. Tenho Elo também e e’ Diners. Não aceito. Rio de Janeiro gig está entregue as moscas”… aeroporto precisa urgentemente de reforma. Desde as portas de entrada, banheiros etc… imagine se não tivesse sediado olimpíadas. Sou carioca e me causa muita tristeza. Abs.

Entramos com o Mastercard Black (no nosso caso, pagamos um valor simbólico). Esperava um pouco mais do Menu de alimentação da sala vip. Bebidas estavam boa, mas alimentação tinha apenas alguns snacks/petiscos e um macarrão. O banheiro é excelente para um banho antes do voo internacional. Oferecem toalha e amenites (touca de cabelo, pente, escova e pasta de dente, sabonete é liquido dentro do box). Espaço muito bom e ducha boa! Também há um espaço para apoiar a mala de bordo para ajeitar as coisas. O local estava bem cheio, mas confortável.

Sala anexa ao estacionamento, com opções fraquissimas de comida e bebida. Funcionarios com pouca cortesia, aparentemente entediados e fazendo o minimo esforço para tudo. Nem esquentar o chilli que acompanha os nachos não esquentam. Nachos amolecidos. Nao tem vinho. Cerveja quente. Ar condicionado funciona apenas na metade do ambiente. Nao tem a opção de guardar sua bagagem para voce ir almocar no aeroporto e voltar. Vale apenas pelo arcon e banho.

Esta ubicado en el tercer nivel de la terminal 2 El lugar es amplio, con sillones cómodos y baños amplios y limpios Excepto agua, jugo de naranja y vinos, todas las demás bebidas incluyendo gaseosas y café deben pedirse en al bar lo que ocasiona una considerable pérdida de tiempo. Es en el mismo bar donde se ofrecen tragos y la mayoría de las veces hay una sola persona atendiendo Hay dos sectores para retirar comida. Uno de comida caliente, donde preparan las pastas a pedido. Allí además de pastas hay opción de carne y pollo y sus a acompañamientos. El otro sector está destinado a platos fríos, con sándwiches y alguna opción de ensalada. El personal es muy atento
