We had a fantastic day with Gustavo! Beginning the adventure with a short history of Brazil was unexpected but genuinely enjoyable — just the right amount of information, delivered perfectly. The hike was fascinating, with incredible views over the city, and the beach time was wonderfully relaxing. Gustavo made the whole experience both fun and insightful. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rio! Thank you, Gustavo!

Itinerary
We’ll drive along the coastline heading the West side of Rio, passing by beaches that you probably didn’t hear about (São Conrado, Barra, Reserva, Recreio and Macumba). Our first stop is at Prainha, a secluded and beautiful small beach. Prainha is the best surfspot in Rio, and also a protected area, where the beach is surrounded by green mountains, where we’ll do a 1,5h hike in the tropical rainforest reaching an incredible view at Caeté Belvedere, 253m above sea level (830 ft ). After the hike, a 5 min. drive we’ll take us to Grumari Beach, another secluded, untouched and protected beach. At Grumari, you’l have plenty of time (approx. 3h) to enjoy all the lush of a beach in a tropical rainforest, with green all around, clear waters and fine white sands. Swim, get a tan, enjoy and experience one of Rio’s best wild beaches. Rio is known for its beautiful and amazing beaches and on this tour you get to the best of it. You’ll visit the most beautiful and untouched beaches of Rio: Prainha and Grumari, considered by many, wild beaches. (Prainha and Grumari are both nature parks, protected land and there are no residential buildings around, only nature.)

Not only secluded beaches, but history and curiosities, the Brazilian spirit, always with a smile! Thank you, Gustavo!
Great experience from the sights to the recommendations till the communication! Felt like a truly reliable team that not give this touristy vibe you usually get with guides. Highly recommended!!!
If in Rio you must take a day to see the beautiful beaches outside of the city and the magic of the Tijuca Forest. Fun day and we even learned a lot about the history of Brazil.
Great day out, beautiful and peaceful beaches, and a quick easy hike. Tito is a great guide, shared a lot of info about the national park, Rio, and Brazil in general.
Wonderful place, much heat and the trail made us sweat well rsrs. But the beautiful tour, I really liked Guia Renata, very friendly and explained very well the journey we did.
The walk was very good, it included some hiking in Prainha, and then I had the option to choose between this beach and Grumari, which I preferred because it was less crowded. Santiago, my guide, was attentive during the hiking, also giving me information about the history of Brazil and recent events. I highly recommend Jungle me, for their professionalism and attention to detail.
Excellent tour that combines a trail in the Atlantic forest and the afternoon on the most isolated beaches in Rio de Janeiro: Prainha and Grumari. For me, it was a perfect day: the trail in the bush was nice, with a beautiful view at the end. Our guide Thiago shared a lot of information about nature, the history of Rio de Janeiro, it was quite enriching. After that, we walked to the beach of Grumari and spent the rest of the afternoon there, enjoying the beauty of the sea, without a lot of people around. For people who want to enjoy the beauty of Rio with light physical activity and enjoyable beach, I recommend.
