Private Transfer Minivan Gig Rio Galeao Airport Up To 6 Pax To Zona Sul

I was never picked up from the airport in Brazil despite presenting my voucher as instructed. The company and representatives at the airport was not considerate and did not accommodate me.

Horrible experience. I travel frequently and have utilized a variety of transfer options to and from the airport. This is by far the worst experience. It’s not even close. There’s not enough characters or time for me to illustrate just how bad. After traveling 12 plus hours, the last thing you want to do is to have to look all over the airport for your ride and/or representative. Take a taxi! Take an UBER. Whatever you do, don’t use this company in Rio, unless you want to ruin your first day.

Ride wasn’t there when we arrived. Much confusion and delayed pick up. Seemed like they lost our reservation. I wouldn’t recommend.

Couldnt recommend...very poor comms delay unprofessional scary and unsafe...driver checking and typing on mobile most of the way to hotel in heavy challenging traffic...we waited about 30 mins at collection point others a lot longer

They didn’t book the right transport for us. They were unable to take us to our destination. So we had to find our own alternative. They also refused a refund.

Clean, comfortable, spacious ride from the airport to my destination. Great welcome to the amazing city of Rio de Janeiro. Would definitely recommend a use again.

You have to wait a little bit for the driver to arriver. He was v nice, car was clean and once we got going it was very relaxing

Great private transfer. It was easy to find and drive us quickly to hotel. He took some back street to keep us out of traffic.

I was initially supposed to be picked up at 6:20am but because of the London Heathrow fires, it was delayed to arrive at GIG at 8:53pm instead. I advised them of this via WhatsApp. They said okay. Upon landing, no one was there for me. Really annoyed. Upon pick up, the driver didn’t know where to drop me off; it was evident that they pulled this off really last minute and weren’t prepared for my pick up. They eventually got someone to pick me up and drop off at the correct hotel but if I did not bombard them with messages, I would not have been picked up.

We saw our name on the sign. They waited for us as we were trying to deal with lost luggage. The driver quickly took us to our hotel.

DON'T BOOK THIS TRANSFER!!!!! We arrived in Rio and I did receive notice that they were at the airport via message on WhatsApp. I told them that there was a long security line thru border control [not sure why they would arrive exactly at the time of the flight's landing, knowing there was border control to go thru]. By the time we got thru border control, they had left. On the return trip, which I had stupidly pre-paid for, I called and messaged thru what's app throughout the day of our departure trying to confirm the time of the pickup. ZERO response. No one answered the phone. Then, around 9:00, they told me they were at the airport [we were already there via Uber instead, since I had given up on them]. I messaged back and said, I booked the return from our HOTEL, why are you at the airport and why hasn't anyone communicated anything during the day? No response. Then later, when I was finally on our 10::55pm flight, I got a message saying they were on at the hotel for pickup [fyi when you book this service, you enter the time of your FLIGHT including flight details.] Skip this service, I'm inclined to think it's just a scam. VIATOR, you should remove them from your listings.

Very good service with a large car. The driver was on time and brought us to where we needed to be. I would recommend.

I liked the size of the van and driver was nice.Overall a good experience but they should have sent a notice the day of the pick up.I only received the day before.

I was having difficult time finding the transportation and Anna at the Tourism desk escorted me to my awaiting transportation.

The pickup was a bit hap hazard as there was no one to pick us for at least 20 mins and we had to ask @. Also the car was small with insufficient capacity to hold the baggage of the 5 passengers!

The driver was excellent and polite. The car was not accommodated to take the baggage of 5 travellers though. The bags had to be loaded onto the seat.

They call you an Uber and try to pass it off as a service. I could have done that on my own. The only reason I'm giving them that many stars is because it is a very clever scam. The woman at the airport was nice.

They arrived 20 minutes before the agreed time. Very helpful. We rented a van for the transfer, but they came with two to ensure there would be room for all the luggage. 10/10 service. Congratulations Viator!

I had to contact the company because when I received the purchase confirmation the flight schedule was wrong. By the phone that is on the company's website I did not get a return, but a few days before they contacted me, I passed the correct data and got everything right. My father even gave a $50 dropper for the driver.

The driver was very kind. The car was too small for 3 people with quite a bit of luggage. No air conditioning, and it was very hot.

When we arrived from the landing, a company employee was already waiting and soon directed us to the driver who left us at the hotel; The hiring of the service, however, leaves to be desired, I don't know if by the company or the site that intermediates, or by both, because they request and present information that, in my opinion, induce to contract a round-trip transfer service for a reasonable value, however, when I finished I received only one voucher. When requesting (in Portuguese from Brazil) the return voucher I was answered (in another language) that the hiring was only one-way. The hiring process is as follows: When filling in the fields for contracting the transfer, it is required to provide the details of the return and return flight, flight numbers, date and time, as well as the addresses of the start and destination of both the return and return flight. In addition, when consulting the reservation, after contracting, there is a tab "Departure and return" that when accessing it presents the following information: "Detail of the return. Return to the original starting point. End: This activity ends at the meeting point." Suggest to the website and the service provider: Offer the service in a clear and transparent way and not in a dubious way. When requesting information/question, the customer responds in the same language.

It was all calm. They met the agreed schedule and we traveled with a friendly driver in a car that is not very special, but is OK.

I used the transfer service from Galeão to Ipanema on 10/05/2025 and I only have compliments. helpful to attentive staff. Very comfortable car.

We arrived at Rio airport on Friday afternoon. There was a very long queue in migrations and few people working, so we took about an hour to leave. However, they waited for us. The vehicle was as expected and the driver drove very well, even though the traffic was very heavy, since everyone seems to be going somewhere, as in every big city. In every sense, everything was very good.

We use the airport service to the hotel round trip. Everything perfect, efficient and punctual, air conditioning, a vehicle according to the number of passengers. In particular, our driver on both Trips was Rosimam. Treated us very well, attentive, friendly, made us a "tourist guide" while we made the trips. We arrived perfect and meeting the times or exceeding them. RECOMMEND!

On the last day of travel with my partner, we had a bad experience with the company Worldtourtravel, which would take us to GIG airport, as they arrived 35 min earlier than registered on the voucher (they arrived at 5:15 and we saw that they would pick us up between 5:50~6:20 am), so, through a brief and tense discussion, we had to give up their services and opt for another alternative, incurring the costs of this new one. Additionally, worldtourtravel is supposed to contact us, I saw a day earlier to corroborate the schedules, situation that never happened. The person who called us on the hotel phone to warn us that he was outside was super high-handed and insistent that his time was right, closing to talk, being that the voucher gave me reason. We will never use that transport company again.

We had the transfer with World Tour Travel from GIG Airport with - Ipanema contracted by the DESPEGAR company. We were 6 people. And when we arrived at the airport, the driver was waiting for us, with a suitable vehicle for the transfer. Everything went perfectly, to the point that later on our own, we took the service to make a transfer from Ipanena to Cabo Frio, and then from Cabo Frio to GIG Airport. ALL excellent transfers, in terms of service, friendliness of the drivers, and punctuality. Highly recommend this company!!!!

Our driver delivered an excellent Service very prudent and safe.. on the other hand we had permanent contact with Enterprise via whassap. Everything worked perfect 👌 💕 Congratulations !!
