Private Transfer Gig International Airport To Or From Rio De Janeiro

We arrived before 4am and cleared passport control quickly. The driver was nice and helped with our luggage. However, he was not waiting in the airport with our name on a sign when we arrived. The WhatsApp communication was easy. They sent us a picture of the car and a door location, but did not share that we had to go to the departure floor (2nd) instead of the arrival floor (1st). Someone in the airport told us that. Not sure we would book again.

It was decent experience with no stress and hassle. Uber or taxi would maybe saved a few dollars but the no hassle and limited wait was worth it for me.

The driver was good and safe. Traffic was very heavy with rain. Unfortunately the car was smaller than I’d hoped and the driver was not bilingual though we had arranged both.

Despite a non eventful flight, there was an hour wait to retrieve our baggage. My flight arrived very early in the morning and my driver waited patiently for the whole. He was outside baggage claim with a sign with my name on it, which was a blessing for a tired passenger. The car was clean and roomy. My driver was funny, good natured and got me to my hotel through early rush hour traffic without a hitch. I’m definitely using this service again!

Excellent service from booking through to drop off. The service provider kept in regular contact with me vis WhatsApp & on landing sent me a photo of my driver so was easy to meet up. Car was very clean & driver was very experienced.

Someone was there to meet us at the exit and take us to the transfer driver immediately. Driver was friendly and overall felt very safe.

Trip was fine and the driver was very nice and courteous. However, trying to locate the service at the airport was chaotic. Took us 20 minutes roaming among the various services snd drivers before accidentally running into a representative that had a poster that included my name. There has got to be a better way.

Our greeter was right outside the terminal holding a sign with our name. She took us to our driver. Our driver was very friendly, helpful with bags and an excellent driver.

My airport rides to and from the airport were great . Each driver spoke English and shared a bit about their country with me. The communication was great by what’s app . They were friendly, professional and courteous. Worth the money to feel safe and have a comfortable ride.

Driver was very helpful and informative. We had to wait 1 hr for the service, be we understood as many roads were closed due to the Carnivale, so traffic was very bad. Otherwise very good service.

Uber works in Rio and is a much easier, safer, and cheaper process for the same exact service! This company does not provide a sign with your name upon arrival at an overwhelming airport as promised. Very poor communication and a lack of direction before or after landing, then greeted by a tour guide from a different company. There was also no flexibility in adjusting pick up time after being overcharged. I would NOT recommend using this company's service if you do need transportation services for yourself/ your group. Again, Uber was a much smoother process.

Car was very small. One of our three pieces of luggage had to go in the front passenger seat. Legs were cramped. Driver was very nice, helpful and safe.

Our Driver was very nice although he did not speak any English as promised. He had to use Google Translate to communicate with us. Also he had never been to the Cruise Terminal and he got a little lost. At first he wanted to park and have us walk to the terminal. Finally he figured out to get to the drop off point. In the end all was OK.

Great service for pick up and drop off from GIG to hotel in Copacabana. Our driver was just a sweetheart and a great driver. We felt very safe, secure, and had no worries coming or going. Our father, who is fluent in Portuguese and born in Brazil, was mugged by his cab driver who picked him up from the airport so, we decided to go with a transit operator we found on Marriott's web site. We are glad we did not have to worry or get hassled by the upselling all the cab drivers do in Rio. They made it super easy with What's App communications. Highly recommend Rio Carioca Tour!

Traffic is hectic in Rio de Janeiro especially during rush hour! This driver managed to get me to the airport without incident for which I was grateful.

Very nice driver but he couldn't find his car when.he picked us up so we were wandering for about 10 minutes in parking garage after 8 hrs flight so that wasn't great. Was a friendly driver who did tell us some history and answer questions about a the city

Our original flight was postponed by 15 hours. I contacted the company and told them the new arrival time which was 11:30 PM the next day. Upon arrival I was promptly met by the representative and had a nice drive to our hotel. Everything went extremely well and it was easy to adjust our pick-up time. Well done to all involved.

The trip to the airport was smooth an uneventful. The driver was friendly and safe and we were able to communicate using Google Translate since I do not speak Portuguese. There were 4 passengers including myself plus luggage and we all were able to fit in the vehicle. There was a lot of traffic during the journey so I would recommend keeping that in mind when you plan your departure time.

My flight was delayed by two hours but the driver was still waitin for me when I got out. He was very friendly helpful with luggage etc and pointed out sites as we drove into Rio. Very professional and pleasant experience.

Driver was not there when we landed. He arrived, according to his text, over an hour late. This is after texting me a day earlier to say he was on his way to the airport. I told him it was the wrong day. I am waiting for a refund as we had to use a taxi. I do not recommend this company or the driver.

Really easy pick up. Our driver was already waiting for us when we came through so this was really handy. Took us straight to the hotel and the car was a good car too.

Your booking will be outsourced to World Travel Tour and they are totally incompetent. The car was unsuitable for 3 passengers and they did not have space for all our luggage (which was clear from the day we booked) Just get an Uber, or get two if you have a lot of luggage. It will still be cheaper than the price you are charged

We were contacted by the Viatar English speaking employee when our flight arrived. And she escorted us to our awaiting car. Unfortunately, our driver did not speak English, he knew our hotel name and that was it.

I waited a long time to find someone to help me and get me to my driver. However the driver Daniel was very lovely and polite even with the language barrier.

It took us a while to locate the services. I didn’t see my name listed on the long list. However, the vendor was excellent with communicating through the Viator app. They let me know what was going on and immediately located the driver. Our driver was wonderful. He was informative and told us a lot about the landmarks we passed and a little of Brazilian history. The car was clean and the ride to the hotel was smooth. Thank you for your service.

After a LONG flight, we were ready to get to our final destination…..our hotel; lbvs. It took us a minute to find you, but we finally did when we realized we needed to look for her name…..then we were off without any problems. GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU!!!!!!

After travel delays and long flight someone met us outside baggage claim. They promptly took us to our ride then to our hotel.

The transfer was dry smooth. The airport was quiet and your driver was right at the arrivals hall. The drive was smooth without any issues.

Rio Carioca Tours is fantastic. The drivers were very friendly and courteous. They were prompt tot the schedule and very easy to identify. The cars were in excellent condition and clean. We used them for transfers between the airport and our hotel.
