This walking pub tour is an introduction to a beloved Carioca institution, the "boteco." Leblon is a charming, tree-lined neighborhood where it is common to find its residents drinking, eating, and talking while standing in front of or at the counter of "botecos," which are very informal pubs, often frequented by people leaving the beach. Our tour will pass through 5 bars to try 5 drinks that are dear to Brazilians: bottled beer, draft beer, batidas (a mixed fruit drink), caipirinha, and the newest sensation, craft beer. Some stops will also include "petiscos," typical bar food.
