One Day Tour In Rio De Janeiro: All Inclusive

Our guide, Gustavo was incredible! He communicated with the entire group in different languages all at the same time and was knowledgeable about every stop and more. He was welcoming and accommodating at every opportunity. He made the tour around Rio even more unforgettable.

We had an amazing day with 13 other visitors to Rio and our tour guide, Gustavo. We visited the sites as advertised and had sufficient time to spend at each location. Gustavo communicated effortlessly between English and Spanish and was clear with all guidance and information. The lunch was good, although I was unsure of what I ate, given everything was in Portuguese without an English translation below. The flan was outstanding!! Lol! Also, the driver was excellent- he navigated the traffic so well. Highly recommend this tour to see the highlights in Rio.

The bus was 30 min late. They did not have AC. They did not do the scheduled itinerary. We had to wait an hour for a new bus, which broke down. The PA system wasn’t on the second bus so we didn’t get the guided tour. They were 3 hours late dropping us off. No one had a nice time, it was miserable.

Great day visiting Selearon steps, Christ the redeemer, sugarloaf mountain, the cathedral and football stadium from the outside. Good lunch. Our tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. Would recommend this your tour to others.

Excellent tour! Gustavo, our guide, was very knowledgeable and fun. Tour was well organized, with a driver that was flawless. Place to eat is great, clean, varied and all included. The attraction were done efficiently but not rushed. Overall great experience, recommend 100%!

Gustavo is knowledgeable and accountable. It got too windy for the sugarloaf mountain cable car but he rebooked it for next day for us which worked out great! Great buffet choice!

My family really enjoyed the beginning and the end of the day, when visiting Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf mountain. Visits to Maracanã stadium was a waste of time since you do not go inside and you can barely see anything from outside. There was very little time at the Christ the Redeemer stop. The lunch was good (food was decent), but for the price we paid it was not meeting my expectations. They took us to a super busy buffet, we ended up going there twice because the first time line was too long to enter. When we got back the line was long again and we did not have priority entrance.... which was odd. If I had the opportunity to do this again, I would only do half day tour with the Jesus Christ statue and Sugarloaf mountain, and skip the meal.

Jose (Pepe) was our guide. He was the best! 10 stars! Great service, very friendly. Driver was great as well. Communication, transportation, guidance, food, etc was great! Loved it!

The tour is well scheduled. Gustavo doesn't waste your time, use every seconds of your time. If you are short in time, it is a good option. Also, he speaks english very well, he is a very responsible and well-behaved leader. Totally recommended.

Gustavo was excellent; helping us navigate Rio in a prompt but relaxed pace. We felt we had enough time at each site and Gustavo did a great job of helping us maximize our time.

Gustavo was nothing short of awesome! From start to finished, Gustavo was on his stuff (on point). He will answer everything you think to ask, but may not ask. The views of the city are majestic. Be one time and everything will go as smooth as possible! You will not regret this tour! I’m not sure how many languages he knows, but he spoke 3 (Portuguese, Spanish and English) on my trip (all in sequence) you didn’t feel lost. It was pretty unique.

Really enjoyed our Rio day trip with OK Rio Tour. Gustavo was a great guide with humor and enthusiasm for guiding this tour. The tour was very well organized and run. We felt we got to see many attractions with adequate time to explore, take pictures and enjoy the sites. We spent a gorgeous day seeing some of the more well known tourist attractions and thoroughly enjoyed it! Would highly recommend this tour! 5 stars!

Great day tour covering all the major tourist spots in Rio in one day. The guide speaks English very well and all tickets were bought in advance, saving us time. We even got access to fast track queuing for some of the activities, which saved us time. The only negative is that I found out the tour was at least £20 cheaper if bought locally from a hotel. That's one thing to consider when booking these tours on Viator-type websites

Oh my goodness where do I begin!! Gustavo was the best. He really introduced us all to this beautiful city and it’s gorgeous people!! I would definitely recommend this tour as it gives you a very efficient view of this gorgeous city and covering the spectacular features like the Christ the redeemer and sugar loaf!! Obrigado Gustavo and team!!! (He went above and beyond and delivered my souvenirs I left behind in the van!!!)

One word, Gustavo! He is amazing all the way round he is not only punctual , but witty and very knowledgeable. This man will be ensure you beat the rush / crowds for all of the monuments which trust me you will be very grateful for. Great atmosphere and energy all generated by Gustavo (plus we were a cool group ;) Don’t think about it just book it , you won’t regret it. Only thing is if you’re interested in Samba City book that separately.

By far one of THE best guided tours I've ever done and one of the most stress-free experiences with a tour. Almost immediately after booking, I got a WhatsApp message from the tour organizers so we could coordinate an alternate pick up location. Normally they do pick up from the hotel where I was staying (Selina Lapa), but due to concerns about Carnival traffic, a few of us met the rest of the group in Copacabana instead. The pick up was right on time with no confusion. My tour guide, Gustavo was a super nice guy who spoke impeccable English / Spanish, and did the entire tour completely bilingual. The tour itself was a great mix of guided segments along with ample free time to wander around on our own, with clearly communicated meet-up times and places so we could regroup and move on to the next location. I got to see everything I wanted to see that day in a much shorter amount of time than it would have taken me to navigate the city on my own, AND the tour included a buffet lunch with plenty of vegetarian options (always a plus). The tour concluded around 17:00 which gave me the entire evening free to return to my hotel, shower, nap, and head out to the Champions Parade. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rio, especially if you only have one day and want to see a lot.

Excellent tour guide. Picked us up at hotel and dropped us off. Even WhatsApp message before hand with information on pick up. Guide was very informative and took time to give details as we drove from site to site. First time we have done an organised group trip as normally go our own way. However I recommend in Rio it’s safe to be with a registered company and guide you will feel much safer and get to see all you want. Best bit was Christ the redeemer had clear sky and views were amazing. Well worth it

Gustavo is an amazing tour guide. He provided a great explination of Rio de Janeiros past and present. Answered any other questions with great insight, knew how to laugh and have fun. Had some great tips for places to eat/shop etc. Took some great group pictures for us. The driver we had on the day also drove very well and safe. The whole tour was very well organized and run. I reccomend Ok Rio Tour to everyone.

Went all around with Victor and Gustavo. Spoke perfect English. Explain everything we saw thoroughly and made me under barazil culture and way much better. He stated with us on each places we visit. The van he took us in was huge for a party of 9. I highly highly recommend these guys!

Gustavo is a pro; he knows his way around these tourist spots and provides all the info you need. I was very impressed in the way Gustavo took care of all of us. The entire trip was great! Gustavo was a fantastic tour guide and made sure we got to each attraction and experienced it fully! Tips on how to enjoy each attraction and avoid being taken advantage of was given before each and always came in handy. If I could have Gustavo and Ok Rio Tour plan all my tours for the future, I would be very happy. 11/10; would tour again.

Gustavo and Victor and the rest of the team are the best in Rio. They worked from early morning to drive the Rio Day tour and picked us up at 3 am in Lapa and Salgeiro Samba school. We were a group of 9 and the van holds 14. Victor was the main driver and Gustavo was the guide to answer your questions. They had many options but more importantly gave advice of things to do outside the tour. They went above and beyond when a friend of mine forget her medicine on the trip. They rearranged the schedule so we can wait for her to get an Uber and back from the hotel. They also knew the history of Rio and also discussed the latest news. They speak 4 languages ( EN, Port, Spanish and French. Prices were competitive but exceeded my expectations when coming to service. 5 stars

If you don't have enough time even if you do, this Tour is a must while in Rio de Janeiro. Gustavo our guide was very well organized with details of the schedule, meeting points and answer questions about the sites. Lunch was very good, even though there was a lot to cover in one day, never felt rushed. Once again Thank Gustavo and OK Rio Tour for making our short stay in Rio Memorable.

Gustavo seemlessly catered for Portuguese, Spanish and English speakers. Our only disappointment was the decision to visit Christ the Redeemer in the afternoon, as the weather closed in and the statue was covered in fog. Lunch was excellent. I would recommend this tour!

Had an amazing day on the full day tour! Gustavo was a fabulous guide and was attentive towards every nationality switching languages during every educational talk. The weather wasn’t great and was raining and windy when he picked us up so he altered the schedule to make it fit around the weather which was a great touch as we got to see better views from the Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer when it cleared up. Lunch was lovely a typical Brazilian all you can eat buffet style. Expected it to be rubbish but it was actually the best buffet I’ve had since we’ve been here so it was a lovely surprise especially Considering it was included in the price. Overall a great day absolutely loved it. Big thanks again to Gustavo who was approachable, friendly and a professional guide who taught us a lot of in-depth and interesting information about Brazilian culture and the sites we saw. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rio!

We saw all the most important tourist sites in Rio in one day with Gustavo! Setting up the reservation online was quick and easy. He picked us up at the appointed time at our Copacabana hotel and we were off for a fun day, with a small group, for our tour of the city. Excellent lunch and entrance fees were all included! Gustavo filled our day with plenty of timely, interesting information. He answered all our questions, on a variety of topics, thoroughly. Highly recommend this tour!

This was without the best tour I have been on all my travels. Of course, the content of the tour was beautiful, as to be expected in Rio- but mainly our tour guide Gustavo was amazing. He effortlessly gave us an abundance of knowledge on all area of the tour, the history of Rio, and anything else you might have asked him, for example the architecture or any upcoming events in the city, and all this is three languages, keep everyone engaged by changing the languages during sentences. A truly 10/10 tour, thank you so much Gustavo.

Gustavo was our tour guide and he was great. I highly recommend this tour. We did the Rio day trip tour and it was very informative. We saw all the highlights of the city and nothing was rushed. The best part is that the group was small, about 14 people. Awesome job Gustavo.

Gustavo deserves 10 stars. Booked a private tour for 8 from the Rio cruise port with Ok Rio. Beforehand, Gustavo promptly responded to all my questions and concerns. He met us at the cruise port with a nice air conditioned van with lots of room. Since it was the day before NYE, the city was packed with people. He planned out the day to deal with the crowds and it was done expertly. His commentary was excellent with lots of interesting information. Sugar Loaf was done first with no crowds. Upon leaving, there was a 2 hour late. Saw all the major sites and the included AYCE lunch was great. Our last stop was Christ Redeemer and it was teaming with crowds and a 4 hour wait. Gustavo somehow got us in a priority line and we were at the top in less than 45 minutes. Don't know how he did it, but he is amazing. Drop off was back at the port. Can't recommend this company and Gustavo enough. It was a perfect day. The cost was 3x less than what the cruise line was offering. We saw much more and it was a private tour.

Gustavo was the guide and we had a very smooth and fun tour of Rio. He gave the tour both in English and Portuguese and I have to give my props to him, he managed to keep everyone engaged and make the tour fun and interesting. The bus was there waiting for us to get us to the next attraction, no waits, definitely a great way too see the city sights. We highly recommend it. Also the lunch in downtown was really good, a place where locals and tourist eat, food was good, service was fast.
