This was an amazing tour with our guide Santos. He told us about the interesting history of Rio and took us to many important sites. After the historical tour we went to the Museo de Amanha which was awesome and inspirational. The last stop was walking along the Olympic boulevard. Our driver was great too. Highly recommend this tour.
An amazing tour experience of all the center guide by the excellent Alexia who bring us around some of the cutest spots of Rio, included the visit in beautiful Museum of Tomorrow. For sure I really enjoyed my morning walking around the center and discovering new things and the atmosfere of this beautiful city and its mix of cultures. The organition and sympathy of Alexia from the picking up to the end made the experience even greater.
We had an amazing tour with Alexia in Rio! She was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the city’s history and culture. She made the experience even better by managing to squeeze in a few extra stops, making the most of our time. Everything was well-paced and informative. Highly recommend touring with her!
Cancelled late in the evening via WhatsApp due to not having enough people. Too late for me to rebook another experience with anyone else as I was leaving that night. They should have communicated this earlier. Had to get Viator involved to get a refund from them.
Pickup time was 8:30 from our hotel. The guide arrived on time but the transportation did not. Guide was furious and apologized to us. The transportation arrived one hour late. We get to the museum and the guide did not have our tickets. He said he is waiting for tickets in a text. We stood in the line and then came out as tickets never came. 30 minutes later tickets came and we continued our trip. Long story short, don’t trust this company and the tour. Don’t waste your money and the precious time. You can do better. Find an another tour . We will never hire this company again.
It was raining most of the day so we needed to modify the days plan a bit. Took Uber’s where we needed to go and did a bit of walking. The museum was great! We did not feel rushed during our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and even helped us plan our next days activities. A very pleasant way to enjoy a day.
Alexia was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helped me take nice pictures and videos. I highly recommend her.🥰
I booked this tour the day before and was kept up to date with the meeting location and time to the point of my pick up. Having done a tour the day before I was expecting a mini bus but on arrival I found my transport was a lot smaller. In fact due to a cancellation at the last minute Gastavo the tour guide told me that this was going to be a one to one tour! We began our tour by looking at the old sea port where the slaves were shipped into Rio. The story was fascinating and we left the old harbour and looked at the olympic Boulevard. Time has taken its toll on the colourful artwork but it is still there reminding you of some of the countries involved in the Games. It was nice to see the electric trains running through the Boulevard too. We continued our journey looking at old and new architecture and fantastic Churches. There were more reminders of the Games on route and finally we found our way onto the waterfront for the Museum of Tomorrow and a walk past a number of different ships and a submarine. I enjoyed the Museum and anyone who would like to know more about our planet would find it very worthwhile. We ended our trip at the Confeitaria Columbo and took in the magnificent interior and enjoyed something to eat and drink before bringing the tour to an end and travelling back to the pick up location. As a tour guide Gastavo was very knowledgeable which is not surprising for someone who has been in the business for over 20 years and has a History degree. He was full of energy throughout the tour and was only too willing to answer questions and take photographs for me to make my day memorable. For the price I paid this was a fantastic tour for anyone who loves culture and really getting to know the place you are visiting. But having a personal tour made it even more special. I’m glad that I chose this and would definitely recommend it to people wanting a great way to spend 4 hours in Rio.
We asked for an Italian guide and met Monica for our last day in Rio. We had already done the main touristic attractions and sightseeings, so she offered us a city tour through the historical part of the “centro” and its hidden churches, the cafes and the historical buildings, revealing the different layers of the city. It’s the tour we loved the most and Monica is the greatest guide!
Nice tour going around the neighborhood. It was a warm day and we just arrived the night before from a long 26-hour flight so we were both a bit tired. We also expected to see more of the Olympic site. Our guide Gabriella was nice and informative though.
Despite the downpour, Sandra was an amazing guide! Loved walking the city with her. Would definitely recommend .
The tour was OK. Lots of walking. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient. The museum of tomorrow is a waste of money! lol. We really could’ve just stopped at a few keys places and just let us shop and eat. Doesn’t need to be 4-5 hours. Also, the tour is shared! You will be stopping and picking up other people. That takes up time too.
We had a great time on this tour. It is a half day tour so it felt like a perfect amount of time to spend if you are not looking for an activity that takes up the whole day. This is a walking tour so keep that in mind when picking out your shoes for the day. We loved getting to see the city and learn some more about the history. Our tour guide was great. It was us and one other couple so we got through the tour pretty quickly. The van picked us up and dropped us back off at our hotel
Learning about Brasil, and walking throughout the city was excellent. Oh, the best part was the pastry shop, Confeitaria Colombo...yummy. One big tip is to wear comfort shoes and be ready to walk, and it's worth it!
Greatly enjoyed this tour. Although we had done a couple of city tours already, we got a great overview of the old downtown that we had not seen including Little Africa, the historic churches, Olympic Avenue, as well as the Museum of the Future. We also got to taste sweat and savory pastries from historic Confeitaria Colombo and viewed the vintage building. Get ready for a lot of walking if you take this tour, but our guide Carlos made it fun and we took frequent breaks to accommodate all fitness levels. Carlos was very knowledgeable about the city and very enthusiastic. There was some confusion regarding the pick up location: the Viator confirmation said our hotel, but the vendor confirmation said we had to go to another hotel. It was resolved after going back in forth on What’s Up App, but just a heads up to make sure you check both confirmations and quickly get any discrepancies resolved.
The Museum of tomorrow and Historical Rio was an amazing experience specially the Museum is an excellent place for families to visit. Our Guide Alexia was very informative and helpful.
Exactly as advertised - great tour for getting to know Rio’s history better. Our guide had excellent knowledge and pretty good English. The museum was a fantastic architectural specimen - our teenagers enjoyed the interactive displays.
Honestly one of the best tour and tour guides I’ve been to. She was so knowledgeable and professional. The information provided was a lot to take in and she constantly had to switch between English and Spanish but none the less, everyone had a great experience, learned some of colonial history, exhibit the museum of tomorrow as well as see some inspirational history of rio. Highly recommended.
Museum of tomorrow is an excellent "Must Do" tour while in Rio. Our tour guide Monica was very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. She is fluent in english. She gave a brief but comprehensive review of Brazilian history as well as information of various building and monuments we visited.
Priscila Y Martin Were Very Professionals And Extremely Helpfull . They Were Very Well Prepare With Knowledge Of The History Of Río De Janeiro
Now this experience was definitely worth the money. Camilla, our guide met us promptly at our hotel and arranged an Uber as there wasn't enough people for the trip. We headed downtown and our guide instinctively tailored our tour to suit myself and my five-year-old son. I made Camilla aware that I am visually impaired and she took this into consideration on planning the day. We strolled down Boulevard Olympic and she thought it might be a good idea for my son to take a look at Aqua Rio, which is the largest Marine Life Centre in South America. Stunning! Camilla explained the great work of Eduardo Kobra which is truly spectacular and was coined 'The Largest Street Art in the World.' She also introduced us to the Brazilian soft drink Guarana Antarctica and we loved it. Our guide was happy to share her infinite knowledge of the city with us and was terrific with my young child. Camilla pointed out good photograph opportunities and even took some herself to send via WhatsApp. Nothing was too much trouble. We bumped into Spiderman outside The Museum of Tomorrow whom was selling Action Figures and he caught my son is his web! He then performed 'the floss' for us and we were extremely entertained. It was great having a guide and The Museum of Tomorrow is awe-inspiring with its modern super cool architecture. The journey inside again is fabulous and perfect if you're travelling with kids. You cannot miss out on this 'out of this world' landmark if you're staying n Rio de Janeiro (definitely a must see experience.) I cannot think of anything quite like it in home country, England. As my son became hungry, Camilla took us to a nearby Subway and we happily munched on our sandwiches. I can only thank you Camilla for welcoming us to your city and for such a memorable tour. We had a super day out and will treasure it in our memories forever. Brilliant Tour. Excellent Guide
We toured with Monica of C2Rio and it was fantastic. She was professional and friendly and added so much to our experience. She knows the history inside and out and truly loves her city and her job. It was a stress free tour. We were picked up and returned to our hotel, Hilton Copacabana, and the price included the tickets. We saved tons of time by just following Monica and not trying to navigate ourselves.
Igor, the tour guide was excellent, he gave me a full history lesson about the origins on Brazilian Culture. Highly recommend this tour guide if you want to learn about Brazilian culture and heritage.
Without a doubt our tour guide made this tour. Monika was well informed, understood what we would be interested in seeing and was professional and likeable. Monika is an asset to C2 Rio tours.
We booked this tour even though we were not staying at Hilton. Fantastic walking tour of the city. Really informative and enjoyable too. The highlight was our guide Bruno Junior who made it so worthwhile. We felt in safe and comfortable hands. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good time and all our queries were answered. Thank you Bruno!
Wonderful experience!! The museum is a very enriching place. The C2Rio guide, Priscila (Pri), very nice and dedicated, along with the driver Cristiano, made the tour much more fun. Highly recommend.
The trip and the guide were spectacular! 5 stars for the driver
Excellent attention from the guides, very friendly. We learned a lot about the ancient history of Brazil.
Very good the tour especially the work of the Priscylla guide, very punctual when it comes to go to find and leave the hotel, plus very good explanation about the places we visit
Exceptional guide, very kind and attentive. Great tours, very fun and educational. My son loved it. The transportation was also adequate and punctual, very well worth it! I recommend

Excellent guided tour by raquel very good and recommended to do and repeat. We were very happy with my partner at all times advised us very well and showed us the culture of Brazil and Rio de Janeiro. Super recommended make it enjoy Brazil as it should be
Gui to quite ante cioso, with a lot of knowledge and information, a lot of culture. We recommend it for many walks
Alexia very committed to the scheduled tour in the ancient city. We look at the other side of Rio. Very interesting story and anecdotes.
We went on a city tour of Rio Very interesting, we did not know the history of the city and the slaves were surprised... the museum and the mural of kobra very beautiful, the church of San Benito;) the guide Marilia took us for a trip to the past, thank you very much for the tur :)
Alexia was a spectacular guide. If on your visit to Rio you plan to get to know the city center, I recommend the tour with it, as it takes you through it and makes the journey very enjoyable... Like you do with friends! The only problem is that we did not enter the Colombo Confectionery, as it was closed (open at 11 am). Perhaps it would be nice to consider this point/times when planning. It also helps you take pictures (if you go alone, as in my case). In the Museum of Tomorrow it gives you enough time to stay and nicely puts a place on the pillows of the room in which a video is projected. Thank you, Alexia! <3
The places visited are spectacular, the Museum of Tomorrow is impervious, the guide Alexia was very helpful and the driver Sampaio was very efficient. The Colombo Confectionery is stunning and the lunch is wonderful.
Very nice tour, 100% responsible, and the guide Priscylla Dafonseca was very friendly. It was a new experience for my son who loves to know new places in the world.
Our guide Alexia was fantastic, gave us lots of data and is very funny, we loved everything! We toured part of the downtown area and the museum of tomorrow. Great experience! I recommend it 100×100
All very well, the guide very attentive and helpful. Although I feel like I missed time for tomorrow's museum, he explained very well and was very punctual
Peter excellent tour guide and very entertaining. Complied with schedules and delivered super interesting city information
Excellent Peter, the best guide explains everything to you. Detail and provide recommendations for your stay in rio ,highly recommended
Excellent tour, spectacular places, everything on time.very good guide. Peter excellent attentive friendly and explained everything very well 5 stars
Excellent! Very friendly, professional and very dedicated to your work. The tour was very interesting and Alexia gave us information in a very entertaining and detailed way. In addition, he took care of every detail, want to coordinate the driver, tickets that we require and even take photos and make a beautiful mini video of the tour. If you have the opportunity to tour Rio de Janeiro with Alexia you will not regret it.
Taking that tour was the best decision, thanks to our guide Alexia we were able to know the history of Rio and tour different points of interest. She is always ready to solve doubts or give us tips with infinite patience and a joy that infects. Doing the walking tour is fully recommended and more if it is with the same guide.
Beautiful excursion we made visiting the steps of Selaron, limpet arches, colombo confectionery, royal Portuguese reading cabinet and museum of tomorrow. We appreciate the dedication of our Guide Alexia who made our a unique experience providing us with information of each of the sites visited and helping us to portray each moment in beautiful photos 💜
C2Rio is actually an excellent Tourism Agency. My wife and I went on the tour, advised by the excellent guide Renato Marinho and we were very satisfied with the service, we visited the AcquaRio (good, but with our impression spoiled as we already knew the one in Lisbon), the Olympic Boulevard with the magnificent murals of Kobra and at the end we went to the Museum of Tomorrow, which deserved to have dedicated more time, such as its grandeur. Unmissable tour.
Excellent service, Alexia, excellent guide, very friendly and attentive, she was always commenting on the places and experiences of the visit
Muy interesante y bonito el paseo. Es bueno conocer el centro histórico y el museo es otro nivel, me encantó
