It is housed in a magnificent spaceship-like building that is set to become the center-piece of a larger regeneration project of the Porto Maravilha neighborhood.

Created for the 2016 Olympic Games, the Olympic Boulevard has attracted the attention of grafitti artists around the globe. Stroll around to see the biggest grafitti in the world: the Mural das Etnias by Kobra.

This is a unique museum. Partly scientific, partly philosophical, partly poetic, it is appropriately called Museum of the Future, because it is capable of helping us raise our consciousness level via contemplation, hopefully leading to acts of co-creation. Hats off.
My afternoon with Jaqueline was nothing short of extraordinary. She wasn't just a driver; she was a knowledgeable guide, transforming my visit into an immersive experience. With each museum, she shared fascinating insights, painting vivid pictures that brought history to life. I was captivated by her passion for the city and her ability to tailor the tour to my interests. She truly went above and beyond, ensuring I left with a deeper understanding and appreciation. I am incredibly grateful for her expertise and dedication. Jaqueline, you are a 10/10 guide!
Thanks and satisfied with the services, special shoutout to our guide Renato. Happy for the said tour including information and history!
Loved this museum! The tour guide was wonderful, taking us to see other things but the star here was the museum- would love to go back because there are so many things to experience - and we were in there for 2 hours!
Excellent trip. The tour guide very elocuente, super organized, done in two hours. Very great experience d place to go
This museum is different from the usual. There were lots of interactive activities and it really causes you to think about the planet’s future and mankind. Our guide (Marcos) was great guiding us through the exhibits and was very accommodating to my mobility issues.
The tour guide Monica, was great! Great english speaking, patient, and caring. The tour itself was nice. Museum great. Picked up on time.
The Museum of Tomorrow is rather unique. It makes extensive use of current technology to portray the risks (oceanic, political, environmental) likely to present themselves in the future. In many cases, these are quantified and compared to current day values. Very cleverly done, with designs meant to assist with crowd control. Worth the time taken to view (allow about 1.5 hours or more). The exterior part of the exhibit is also walkable/viewable; includes a view of the harbour and the cruise ship terminal next door.
The Museum of Tomorrow tour was great with good tour guide and enough time to see the Museum exhibition. Would recommend!
The museum was different than any other I’ve seen. We had an excellent guide. She was warm and wonderful.
Our guide was very helpful and kind we enjoyed our tour with him, explain and guide us through the whole experience at the museum, also took many pictures of us.
Maylene, our wonderful guide was absolutely Amazing,Friendly, super knowledgeable, and passionate. The Museum of Tomorrow was educational, insightful, and informative about us as a people and the treatment of the world we share. I would definitely recommend the tour with Maylene for this amazing experience.
This is an excellent museum to visit. Our guide picked us up and took us to see the museum from a distance as it is an architectural marvel. Then we went to the museum and walked around the entire t experience. He took pictures of us and explained much of the Amazon history that was written in Portuguese. The visit was very special, insightful, and not to be missed.
I visited the museum by uber. In rio, uber is really helpful I was alone. The museum was amazing. Welcome view amazed me! And inside the museum is totally different with usually museum has. But you need to pay the ticket to enter the museum. A must visit while you travel to Rio.
The tour guard was excellent!! The place is beautiful!! Good for people traveling with teens and children. Maybe a bit boring for adults.
NEW PLACE very nice architecture , interesting exhibits and an option for continuing a day in the center of RIo to other areas too

wonderful day spent with a professional guide and very interesting museums! Money well spent!

They were late picking us up which cut our time short at the museum and the guide couldn't speak English very well. He was basically there to baby sit us. I would not trael with Rio Carioca tours again.

There are no words for all the sensations that the Museum generated, not only for its exhibition artist, it is from the reception of the same building.
It is a very modern and thematic tomorrow inspired museum, it is in a place on the shores of Guanabara Bay with a beautiful view and admission is cheap.
Beautiful place, temporary exhibition on the dream and permanent exhibition on the human era since its appearance on this planet... Beautiful boat-shaped place facing Rio Bay. Have a good time, about 3 hours of visiting. There is a typical Amazonian restaurant at the end of the museum very nice but we did not go there...
Monica gave us many details about her beautiful city, the organization of the carnival, the monastery and of course the museum which was the original request. She is very knowledgeable, interesting, friendly and speaks excellent French. We were delighted with his service.
La visita al museo de mañana. Sus espacios y contenidos. El guía termino el tour rápidamente. Duro 2 horas
die Architektur des Gebäudes und die Idee der Ausstellung, der Aufruf zum Überdenken unseres Lebens, die Videopräsentation der Planet - Ausbeutung
Excellent ride, interactive, interesting, exciting. A visit for the whole family, an exhibition that leaves us with necessary questions for everyone. Highly recommended.
It is a nice walk to take with the children and learn from the universe of the earth and much more. It's worth 30 reais, kids pay half, teachers and students pay half too.
Beautiful experience! Accessible prices at the entrance, all exposure is very good and very well achieved. It is very dynamic and interactive. The message is very good and leaves you thinking and reflecting. I recommend 100%.
Very interesting but it's too much information. I left without fully reading. I recommend you go in time, you can spend hours there
Great visit with Monica are the explanations are captivating. To do, the awareness is incredible.
This site does not normally appear in the top to visit Rio, but it is worth visiting. Entry costs real. You get very good pictures on the outside, the museum inside has a futuristic theme, and this chevere. Inside all the time you must wear a mask, you do not get such good photos for that reason
It is advisable, especially on a day when you have nothing else to do in Rio de Janeiro. Very didactic and explanatory.
The museum is spectacular, very entertaining, interesting and interactive. It has a very nice view of the coast. Recommended 100%
A unique place in Latin America, a show with high technological level. A spectacular and thought-provoking sensory experience.
Based on a recommendation, we went to this museum. From the outside it is nice to look at and also the view into the harbour is very nice. In the museum, all panels are in Portuguese and English. At first glance - everything done very nicely -especially modern media are used. But appearances are deceptive. Basically, everything is very reminiscent of Wikipedia knowledge. The contents of the museum are environmental degradation and its effects on our planet. If you have little time in Rio de Janeiro, I think you should skip the museum, as every geography lesson in school is more informative than this museum.
We went on our own because no excursion takes you. The building is an architectural wonder. Inside all you have are screens with which you can interact on different topics of humanity. Highly recommended the dome where they exhibit in 360 degrees a short of the evolution of the planet. Aboluta recommended.
This place, is good , nice and cheap, even if you don't enter it is worth visiting its surroundings, it is wonderful, surrounded by a spectacular waterfront, buildings, square, it is a spectacular futuristic architecture, the entrance is very economical, but you have to go wanting to read, if it is not worth doing it just outside and you pay nothing.
From the Architecture of the precinct, the traveling samples and the permanent sample make it a must-see of the city. You must visit it in time to enjoy it and get closer to the available infographics
A taxi driver recommended this museum. We went because it was close to AquaRio, we feared it was a disappointment because we didn't find much description on the web, but it was quite the opposite. On arrival you can already bet that you will have a good experience with its Wardrobe Service on your admission, and a tidy system for your entry and personalization of the experience. The entrance has a planet that gives environmental data in three languages, and you have to wait briefly to enter the dome (with which the experience begins) with a very good introductory presentation and ideal to leave excited and tour the other rooms. Its theme is environmental, but it has an interactive method that personalizes the experience, learning and even questionnaires that can compete with other users. It is ideal for the family. It has a very nice and varied souvenir shop (from pencils to dresses and others).
