Morning Sailing Tour In Rio De Janeiro - Ddrio

My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing time on the on the morning sail with DDRio! The team with Clarice was so kind. We were well taken care of with yummy food and beverages. The music, food and company was so relaxing which was a wonderful break from the lines and crowds we had to deal with the day before.

Claire was absolutely fantastic. She was very personable and engaging with all passengers. She mixed drinks very well and said she learned English in 7 months a few years ago, spoke very well. Would like to have more food items available for brunch service, croissant, sandwich, protein-based (meat) items. Rita and I look forward to you expanding your service.

It was very fun, we had drinks, fruit and some snacks. We got to play our own music. Our guide was super sweet and attentive.

It was a fabulous experience and mainly because of Clarisse our hostess and guide. She was an excellent conversationalist and the most attentive host. It made our experience unforgettable and very enjoyable. Would highly recommend her and this particular experience to anyone wanting to enjoy the Guanabara bay at Rio!

Clarisse and Joshua took super care of us and gave us an amazing experience on board their sail boat. It was lovely to be able to explore the Bay under sail as well as the usual motoring. We were blessed with calm, sunny weather and just enough of a breeze to utilise the sail. Clarisse treated us with lovely snacks, drinks and information on what we were seeing. Blankets were provided when our boy got a little chilly. We had a swim off the Adam and Eve beaches and returned to the harbour very very happy with our wonderful morning's sail. We would highly recommend this tour and please remember to tip if you have an amazing experience as we had had.

Crew was awesome, in particular Clarisse. The ride was smooth and enjoyable. The drinks were perfect.

A perfect way to spend a Monday morning! The weather was great, and we were surprised to have the boat all to ourselves! Clarisse was wonderful - so sweet, and she took such good care of us. Capt. Apollo was fantastic, too - told us lots of cool facts about the area, and helped us to get comfortable for pictures.

Once in a blue moon sail to see key Rio monuments, and some surprises. Top notch staff; cool drinks and local nibbles. An on board water shower hose to rinse after the swim would be a plus.

The trip was uneventful and pretty well fulfilled my realistic expectations. What made it a feel-good experience was the meticulous and friendly service on the boat.

Great company, great snacks and best Caipirinha‘s I had in Brazil. We saw many major sites on the bay and cruised on the water! We stopped to get into water for a little bit and cruised on back. Perfect amount of time out on a tour!

The morning sailing was healing and refreshing experience with gentle wind and stunning views of Sugarloaf, the Christ Redeemer , the mountains and coastlines. The crews were friendly and making the experience relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone for peaceful yet romantic experiences.

I felt very welcomed. The boat captain and the host Clarisse were very nice, explaining the sites and making delicious cocktails, as well as snacks and fruits. The refreshing swim was very welcomed. 100% recommend

The crewmembers were very friendly and offered drinks and snacks throughout the cruise. The views of the city and mountains were stunning, and seeing Rio by water offered a completely different perspective. We enjoyed seeing the opposite shore in Niteroi up close, and we also cruised by architectural landmarks. It was easy to find the meeting point on the pier, and the cruise was a great value. It was nice to visit with friends on a small sailboat. I highly recommend this experience during a Rio visit.

Clarisse and Captain Apolo. I enjoyed them tremendously. Clarisse is very soft spoken yet sweet, kind and very knowledgeable. the morning sailing tour felt very private since a couple canceled. She let me play my apple music from my iphone. She fixed us some drinks and fruit. She also recommended me to an awesome night life scene, the "Rio Scenarium", what a great way to enjoy my birthday.

The team, both hostess and captain, are extremely nice and helpful. It was a pleasant calm trip around the bay.

This was probably my favorite activity that I did while I was in Rio! Very relaxing, and I loved it! We were met like family the morning of the cruise, served wonderful drinks and snacks, and we even got to put the sail up for the wind. Best experience ever!

Busy day at the Marina, but still a good one to sail. Well not exactly sail, but others did, we used the engines, but other vessels did and they look beautiful sailing next to us. Nice winter day at the bay!

Absolutely wonderful sailing tour of the Rio Bay Area! This was really perfect and exactly what was described and what I wanted to experience. Conveniently leaves from the Gloria marina, very easy to get to from the metro station. Provided amazing views of the Rio cityscape and the lovely captain and staff were so helpful and friendly. It’s a cute family business on a real sailboat not a crowded huge boat. Lost if room to sit anywhere you like, enjoy sun or shade. Fantastic snacks and drinks on board. Swimming and very cool sailing by the abandoned fortress and jail. Loved it!

Clarisse was an amazing and warm host and went the extra mile to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Captain Apolo did a great job and the trip was really smooth sailing, and he even put up the flag of our country on the boat. The snacks and drinks were delicious too!

This boat is very fun. We got drinks,snacks,and best of all amazing service. I got to drive the boat and even see the engine!! Also we went swimming!?! Also I got permission to drive the boat back! The boat ride was 3 hours. Also we took a lot of photos/pictures. The amazing view was beautiful and when we were back the captain was very happy and nice . It was the best tour ever!

The service on the sailing tour was amazing. Very polite and attentive, checked on us often and gave us details of the history in Rio. We booked this at night for the following morning and were fortunate to get the boat to ourselves and for the crew to get us in the morning before our flight that night.

Amazing trip. The Staff was really sweet and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. They made really good drinks which were included as well as the finger food. ☺️.
