Ricardo was extremely diligent, and made sure that my experience was incredible! My initial flight time was booked as 10:00, but we had to postpone slightly based on not ideal wind conditions. He communicated very well and efficiently through WhatsApp the entire time. Once we started at 11:00, he was very organized and flexible to ensure everything was going well. The slight wait was certainly worth it, we had an exceptional flight! Would recommend to anyone. One note: you have to pay for a separate insurance with the hang-gliding club of Rio. This is the case with all tours. It is 120 BRL if using cash, or 132 BRL using card, so it may be worth to bring cash for this.
Had a great experience with Asa Delta. We originally booked hang gliding but the wind conditions did not allow so we did paragliding instead. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend.
Ricardo and Rubén are true experts. Once you get there Ricardo explains the process and drives you to the top of the location where you will take off. It was very quick and easy. The landing was smooth. My sister did hand gliding and I did paragliding. Keep in my there is a weight limit for hand gliding. If this is a concern for you ask beforehand. Another thing to be mindful of is there is a fee of 135R for insurance plus another 220-330R for the video. The video is NOT included in the price. In total for each person the activity came out to around $330+(1655R). Overall the price is worth it because safety is very important.

Ricardo was the best. The weather was very foggy and raining but he assured me that we were going to fly. I decided to be patient with the weather and stayed. During the flight I felt very secure with him and he was very attentive. I booked with him directly and the responses were very fast as well.

I went paragliding with a few of my friends and I will say it was so much fun! The instructor Ricardo and his team were friendly and respectful to me and my friends. We were a bit nervous at first, but they were very thorough with their instructions and reassured us about our safety. They also offer the full video experience for sale after the ride. The only thing I would say is to be mindful that whether you paraglide or hang glide depends on your body weight. It is to ensure a safer ride! Also make sure to bring a small bag with your personal items, it will be stored in the harness
I had an amazing time! Ricardo Hamond is super experienced, has flown tens of thousands of times, and had such a chill vibe which put me at ease. I had chosen a morning timeslot but after deliberating with him, we changed it to an afternoon time slot since the wind would be much better. And I am beyond grateful we did that! The sky was super blue, it felt like flying as a bird since they were literally next to us, and with his instructions everything went smoothly. Afterwards I chose to get the videos, and I would 100% recommend the insta360 video and the whole activity. For me truly a wonderful and once in a lifetime experience 😄

Was very impressed with how professional they were. Having assessed the wind conditions, they suggested that I go para gliding instead of hang gliding and I am happy they did. The trip lasted about 20 minutes given the favourable wind conditions. The pilot was a pro and it was a highlight of the trip. These guys know what they are doing and you’re safe in their hands

Great experience! Felt very safe. Pictures/videos turned out great. Unfortunately one of my friends had to paraglide even though we all wanted to hang glide. Also another one of my friends and I had the same instructor take us, which meant the whole process took a little longer than expected. Still overall would highly recommend.

It was a great day, you aren't guaranteed hang gliding, I got shluffed off to paragliding because that's what the instructor did. There were four people in the reservation and ended up waiting for over an hour at the top for the instructor to come back up. It seemed like the instructors were a little more concerned about selling the pictures from their cameras more than anything. GoPro an Extra $40 usd, insta360 an extra $80usd. You have to pay an extra $20 for the insurance as well. It was a great flight though and we felt very safe.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The whole activity took about 2 hours from start to finish, and everything was very well organized. The instructor, Ricardo, was fantastic. He gave clear and thorough instructions and really made me feel safe and confident before takeoff. The flight itself was breathtaking... soaring above the lush mountains and coastline of Rio is something I'll never forget. The included front-facing video is great quality and a perfect way to relive the experience. You also have the option to purchase extra footage afterwards, including a 360-degree video and side camera angles... definitely worth it if you want the full memory from every perspective! Highly recommended if you're visiting Rio and looking for an unforgettable adventure!

Life changing experience. I flew with my 66 year old father on my birthday and Ricardo was so patient and professional. Turns out me and Ricardo have the same birthday! He explained the whole process to us and did a great job of making us feel comfortable and safe. He has a great crew working with him as well.
