It’s my first time to visit Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and looking for the best scenic and best places to visit and explore. I meet Ana from online tour agency. And she is very accommodating and replies quickly. She offers TELEGRAPH STONE TRAIL. And took it in my second day in Rio. And meet Flavio our professional tour guide. He is very jolly and friendly all thru out the tour he is approachable. Mostly of the tourists are local and I’m the only one from other country and appreciate Flavio because he translates information in English which helps me a lot to understand. He also initiates and help take photos of you and well he got the best shots of you. I 💯 recommend Flavio as tour guide. And I definitely will come back again soon. Jonathan- Canada

Where do I start? We were told the night before, we will be picked an hour earlier at 6 am, and the tour guide didn't show up until 6:30. We were picked up in a cramped up car which was very uncomfortable. The tour guide and his English speaking companion kept on climbing without checking on us. On the climb down, they left us and we got lost as the path went two ways. We had to call him so that he could come back and get us. Finally, they left us on the beach because they had another guest who had paid for lunch. They gave us no inclination to drive us back. We were stranded and had to take an Uber back which was a 1 hour drive. If I could, I would give them zero stars. We had such amazing tour guides on our trip, these folks are not one of them.

Great guide, beautiful walk/hike. Well worth it. I recommend. Just make sure you bring enough water if it's hot.

PEDRA DO TELEGRAFO was an unforgettable adventure! The hike was both challenging and rewarding. At the summit, I found myself posing for that iconic photo, making my friends envious. A must-do experience in Rio de Janeiro!

I recently experienced the Pedra do Telegrafo hike and it was nothing short of spectacular! The panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro from the top were absolutely breathtaking. The hike itself was challenging but rewarding, and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Brazil.

Tour guides were over an hour late to pick us up. It didn’t look like either were dressed or ready for a hike. They then took us to a gas station before leaving for the trip. After that, we asked to be taken back to the hotel.

We had a great experience with our tour guide Fabi. She was knowledgeable, patient, and helped us take some great pictures. She spoke great English. If you are able this is a great hike.

The view was spectacular, we took lot of photos. The guide was awesome and the the transport provided by trip advisor is excellent. Recommend

We were told the night before that our pickup time would be 6:30am which we confirmed. However, we ended up being picked up after 8AM. I guess the original guide got 'sick' and nothing was communicated to us until after we reached out with a message around 7:30. The eventual guide didn't speak english, and then by the time we went up to Telegraph Stone, he insisted that we just skip the line to the rock and take a pic off to the other side of the rock which is completely different in terms of views. I mean, the original reason for picking this tour is the main rock that everyone wanted to see, and all other tours waited in that line. So instead, I wasted over half a day and didn't end up with what i originally signed up for. Very disappointing. To make matters worse, the guide ended up going back the beach route instead of the normal way through the tunnels and that added an extra hour ride back to our hotels. With a limited amount of time in Rio, the entire tour was a waste of almost a full day. Do you yourself a favor and book with a different company if you want to see Telegraph Stone.

This was an amazing experience. Our guide Fabianne was so sweet and took great care of us . Walking through the forest to get to the top was truly breathtaking, with amazing views, we saw so many animals along the way too. I would definitely recommend this place to visit if you are in Río de Janeiro.

Trekking was an nice experience and there will be a guide with us which makes it easy. Telegraph stone is present at the top from where you can have amazing view and you can have good pictures there.

Very good experience. Trekking through the forest and mountains was remarkable. It was a memorable and unexpected experience when it rained while trekking down from the Telegrapho rock.

It was an amazing experience into the wild. It is worth to claim upto the hills to enjoy the view of the bay from the top. Guide was friendly and helpful.

They picked us up at 7 am. It would take 2 hrs to reach the place. When we started, it was clear sky but humidity was high. The photographer at the stone takes care of the pose. It was a lovely site from stone. The overall experience was good.

Wasted day. We waited for 45 mins we were picked up late for. The pick up van was trashy and not comfortable. We have a family of 4 with a toddler in a stroller. I’m not sure how did the tour guide allowed them to be part of the tour. This is a hiking tour and no way in the world the stroller or it’s safe to bring the baby. The guide shouldn’t have allow it. They tried to hike for 10 mins and gave up. We waisted our time waiting for the family to hike. The hike itself is good but I wouldn’t recommend doing the hike. After our hike we waited for 40 mins for the guide to call us a Uber to get back. Our whole day was wasted just waiting on unnecessary things.

We booked the 7am, and an Uber was sent to pick us up. It was an hour drive to meet our guide. It's a tough hike, but it's well worth the trek for those breathtaking photos. Fabi was a great tour guide and patient with our beginner skills. My only gripe is that the experience is much longer than advertised. We missed another Viator excursion that was to start at 3pm and each lost the non-refundable $50. P.S. Beware of the gray haired man with a camera trying to monopolize the area and charge people for photos...

doing this excursion you will have an incredible image of rio de janeiro. it looks like a picture painted on a canvas. it is not a tiring excursion. but it is truly a tour worth doing. the pick up is at 7 and this helps to arrive early and not queue. Incredible

We had an excellent experience. The tour was well organized, with ongoing support over WhatsApp to coordinate our departure. The bus arrived on time, and the staff was very friendly. Telegraph stone was fun as we took lots of "life-saving" pictures. Overall, very recommended experience!

If you don't have physical preparation, a good cardio, maybe you're suffering like me. But you can get there. I went early in the morning with the guide Rodrigo, who had all the patience of the world to drive the track. The scene is spectacular and rendered beautiful photos.

The landscapes are beautiful and the service was perfect. The guide was attentive and helpful, gave all the explanations for us to have a great experience.

The telegraph stone track was pretty cool. The guide is very good people. I just found the climb very exhausting. The landscape is beautiful. There's a little queue to take the pictures at the tip of the rock, but the view pays off. The tourist agency was very punctual and great service.

Pedra do Telégrafo Very recommended was the best of the tours, it would be nice to recommend that with children is a very complicated journey, however the guide was excellent with my children carried one of them a good part of the journey.

Our Guide on the trails, all, was the same, very partner, polite, friend, photographer, really good people, which helped with whom the walks were light, despite the fatigue! The landscapes say for themselves, it's all worth it! The company is congratulated.

The telegraph stone is incredible, the walk was great trail of 40 min, but the wonderful view and the very attentive Guide liked it a lot and indicate a lot! It was amazing :)

Rogério was our guide, fun and attentive, he kept schedules and throughout the journey he explained to us and answered questions regarding the places we were passing through. The trail itself is quiet (everyone goes at their own pace), it took longer to wait to take the famous photo on the rock than to get to it, but it's worth it... enjoy the landscape in the meantime! As an option, there is a professional photographer on site who charges per photo and directs us in the best poses, but the guide also helped us with this photo mission. The difference was after finishing the trail, the guide took us for lunch and to see Pontal beach! We made a great choice in choosing this agency!

We love the walk, the super quiet track, logical go tennis, take water, and something to eat. And have patience to take that sensational photo, yes patience we are not only on the planet and have a queue, but quiet. Take a day for this walk.

Wonderful walk. The Jéssica guide is great. The path to the stone is quiet, but there are some more difficult points. Along the trail passes by great viewpoints with wonderful views. It is good to get enough moisture and wear appropriate shoes. Just the point of support that could be a little better in offering snacks and drinks. The car makes the journey too cool, you get into the atmosphere of the January River.

I visited the telegraph stone, in November 2021, and it was one of the most exciting experiences I've ever had, I went with a cousin who also fell in love with the place, the guide was also very cordial with both of us, because we've already passed the 60, I recommend, it was sensational.
