Guided Tour To Búzios With Boat Tour And Lunch

The activity with the boat tour was excellent. With that stated, the rest of the trip didn’t meet expectations. We traveled for over three hours in a van one way with hard seats instead of a bus as advertised. Since we had the first hotel pick up, we were on the van for over two hours before everyone was picked up to begin the three hour ride. We didn’t have a bathroom break for over three hours. Our tour guide didn’t speak any English as requested and no one else in the full van spoke English either.

This was a very nice trip to Buzios from Rio. Dolores was a very friendly and informative guide. Nice snorkeling but a little chilly .

We were told to sit in back of the bus. It extremely hot in back. As much as sweating. The tour guide had assigned seats. We asked to change and she wouldn't allow. The tour guide did not speak loud enough to hear in back bus. She more concern about her rating then the experience. I will say the boat staff and experience was great. Question is the 2.5 hr boat ride worth the 8 hr bus ride. Complained to viator that ad doesn't match experience and they had no solution.

Absolutely loved my Buzios excursion! The crystal-clear waters, charming streets, and friendly locals made it a dreamy getaway. A must-visit paradise!

The actual boat ride at Buzios was lovely. The team on the boat were delightful. The guide who came with us on the bus was below par. Firstly, she broke the cardinal rule of any form of tourism, which was to talk about politics (she was highly critical of a hat that I was wearing, a hat of the landless workers movement in Brazil). Secondly, she did not give us any sense of the history of the areas we were driving through, only talking about Bridget Bardot, as if that defines the entire history of Buzios. I learned more scrolling through Wikipedia than from the guide.

Rachel our tour guide was awesome along with the beautiful color of the water and beautiful beaches. The town was also very nice.

One star because the place is beautiful- but the tour organization is awful. What they don’t tell you is that out of the 14 hrs, half of the time is driving around. I was scheduled to be picked up at 6:45am but the bus showed up at 7:15. No apologies nor explanations, oh but because the local tour co. has to incur in some extra expenses we were asked to pay cash (70 BRL) to be allowed in the bus. By 9:15am we were still in the city picking up passengers for the tour… only to drive 3hours more to the destination… someone did summarize it better in the reviews: “not worthy”

Buzios was amazing and I don't regret going on this tour at all. But please make sure to do a little bit more research than I did because I had no idea it was so far from Rio. My husband and I ended up being the only English speaking people on the tour, so we were a little bit of an after thought during the whole thing. But Rachel, our guide, was great at making sure we knew what we were getting into and where we needed to meet. I did speak a little bit of Portuguese, so it made it a little bit easier since no one on the boat spoke an English. It is about a 3 hour drive there from Rio, so make sure to pack some food for the bus ride. And please don't do what I did and drink alcohol on a boat with an empty stomach. Other than that little mistake, it was wonderful swimming in the ocean and walking the cobblestone streets!

Good for snorkeling but if you re not into that there is no point in driving 5 hours for a beach when you have so many close to Rio. Not worth the time

The bus ride to Buzios which allows one to see the country. Of course, the amazing scenery and the sophistication of the town.

Such a fun trip. Buzios is a beautiful beach town, between the party boat, the beautiful views and the excellent shopping, couldn't have asked for a better day trip.

Lousy experience! I bought a tour for divers, they were wrong and sent me a tour to big island (which I had already done with another agency the day before), I knew it when I arrived to big island because the guide started telling about the tour when we were already arriving 3 hours from my hotel. Imagine, 6 hours on a bus for nothing, 3 hours out, 3 hours back, I lost a full day of vacation to the irresponsibility of an agency. I asked the guide what solution they gave me and he told me that the only solution was that I by my means take a taxi to my hotel (being in the middle of the road), all the people followed their route and I was alone in the middle of the road, it was terrible. Finally I had to get a taxi back and guess what? The agency won’t return the taxi money approximately $600 real ($100USD), because they say it was my decision to return to my hotel, so they expected me to stay all afternoon on the bus waiting for everyone to return to go back on the bus with them, that is more than 6 hours locked in a bus alone, terrible way to solve a problem. I do not recommend this tour much less this agency, I know that a mistake can be made by anyone, but another thing is not to take care of a tourist who is adrift because of them, thank God had mobile data to be able to return to my hotel that was 3 hours from where I was, if not I know what I would have done. They did not know how to address a problem that they committed and I felt that they did not care about the well being of the tourist, besides not making the full refund, because they did not return what I spent the taxi to return, and the refund that they made me of the tour was only 70%, because they returned it to me by paypal and being in dollars and withdrawing them you discount a commission, to all this the refund did not want to do me and were doing the crazy, I had to insist a lot to do it. Take the tour with another agency, because they won’t worry about your well-being in case you have a problem, much less give you a full refund if something like what happened to me happens to you.

The stay in Búzios was amazing. Beautiful landscapes, the time helped, for the first time I had an experience at sea where my feet did not reach. With the help of boys, my son and I jumped into the sea. The location chosen by the team was sensational, there were no waves and neither the possibility of being hit by water bikes. Too bad it was only 3 times. The first time was with fear, the last time was with "I want three more." Congratulations to the guide, always very friendly and attentive.

The trip was very good and the guide was cheerful. We left at the scheduled time after picking up all the passengers and the bus journey was peaceful. We bought snorkel glasses and a life jacket when we stopped at the agency in Búzios, it was 30.00 or 35.00 per person, but it was worth it because we were able to see several fish and also feel calm when getting off the boat. There was a change in the itinerary and we had lunch before going sightseeing, the food in the restaurant was good but it was crowded and the air didn't work. Time to walk around the city is also very limited, don't count on it. The boat trip was a lot of fun, the beaches are beautiful and the waters are very cold, but we had a great day in the sun. The boat has music to liven it up and a bar with drinks and kebabs, the cost of which is +- 25.00 for a caipivodka and 10.00 for a kebab. But it's all delicious and worth it. The only thing is that the advertisement said that we would spend 50 minutes on each beach, where we could get off the boat to swim, but the longest we stayed was 30 minutes on one of them, the others were less time. Even so, it was beneficial and we think it was worth it.

I comment that so you know in advance pq nowhere says that you can charge whatever you want: before arriving in Buzios we are told that for a change of dock we had to pay 5 reais each. I explained that on my voucher it said "boat ride and lunch ALL this included" but I had to pay it the same. The ride itself is very nice, but I didn't love it... I would have preferred to be on only one beach longer, rather than going for a little while to swim beside the boat in several places. But it's a personal appreciation. I do believe that this Tourism Enterprise will have to control a little more the driver who mobilized us together with the Mari guide, since several times, both to and from the tour we had to draw attention to him to slow down. Very irresponsible.

We did very well. The guide was super fun and cheerful. We toured several beaches and places. All very nice. It can be done with children. The amazing landscapes!!

Buzios is spectacular, however , the tour taken was quite bad, the guide did not speak good Spanish and I think he did not speak English, the transport very uncomfortable for the hours of travel. The guide had a discussion with the driver of the transport because he did not want to take us to dizios, the organization and logistics very very bad, we did not have the boat ride and instead they took us to tour dizios in an ugly transport and told us that they would do the tour explaining only in Portuguese and that they would speak slowly, or well was what I understood, I had to complain and say that I had paid for a trip with guide in Spanish, and that is why they translated. In conclusion I recommend the walk to Buzios only do not do it with this agency , they will have an unpleasant experience and in the end they will think they lost their money, because they offer one thing and in the end they give you another.

Very cool the walk! The restaurant where we had lunch was great. The tour was super good, especially our guide!! Very good, active all the time explaining and telling us about the tours and the history of many of the places. Highly recommended! Thank you!!

Pretty quick expedition by land, regular buffet lunch, tour guide practically absent. A waste of time.

The bus journey was a little long, we left the hotel at 7:30, with a stop for snacks around 10:00, and we arrived around noon, but without lunch. Lunch was only at the end of the tour, but the boat had 10 reals and bread with garlic, among other options to amenize. The guide rented diving masks on the bus, but when we arrived on the boat we were forced to rent the life jacket, but if we had rented the diving masks on the boat together, the total would be cheaper. The guide was friendly, the water was a little cold, and the best place to dive was at the first stop. The rest had no fish, and in the end we discovered that we did not need to have rented the life vests, although it is recommended for those who do not know how to swim, but has the option of the spaghetti boias, which the boat has at no cost. The boat slipped, but they were able to fix it after 20 minutes. At the end we walked in the center, and we met at 18:00 for return, arriving at the hotel around 22:00

El tour inició TARDE debido a que tuvimos que esperar 20 minutos a unos pasajeros que no estuvieron listos a tiempo a pesar que desde el día antes, el tour operador confirma la hora de encuentro. El autobús se dañó a medio camino y tuvimos que hacer primero una parada imprevista de 20 minutos y luego, cuando el autobús no pudo andar más, estuvimos DOS HORAS bajo el sol, sin agua, esperando que enviaran otra unidad para recogernos. El guía del tour (le llaman "mini-guía") se peleó con varios del grupo ya que él lejos de mantenernos informados o ayudarnos, buscó el lugar más lejos posible para quedarse allí y solo volvía para decirnos mentiras. Nos decía que un bus vendría en 20 minutos a recogernos y pasaban 40 minutos y no aparecía ningún bus. Si alguien le preguntaba qué iba suceder con el tour, él se enojaba y gritaba. PÉSIMO trato al cliente. El chofer del bus NOS ABANDONÓ, se fue con un amigo que llegó por él en un vehículo particular y se desapareció. Cuando después de dos horas fueron por nosotros, claramente ya habíamos perdido la hora de salida del barco así que fuimos a almorzar y el guía nos dijo que teníamos SOLO 20 minutos para comer pues el barco regresaba y debíamos tomarlo. ¿Quién almuerza en un tiempo tan corto?!. TODO fue PÉSIMO. Escribí a la agencia solicitando ayuda, NUNCA me respondieron, NUNCA me escribieron para saber como estábamos, para decirnos qué iba suceder u ofrecernos alguna solución. ¡SON UNOS INHUMANOS! Hubo personas desmayadas por el calor y ni se tomaron el tiempo de preguntar cómo estábamos. PÉSIMO, PÉSIMO!!! JAMÁS LOS RECOMIENDO.

Very good everything! Very friendly all the staff especially Caesar and driver Juliano, the places visited were beautiful and the perfect lunch for him hungry that we put together hehe 100% recommended!

The Service provided eh amazing, we were picked up at the hotel on schedule, we went in the company of the guide Maristela, a sensational Cover, super attentive and helpful. The boat ride passes through beautiful beaches, we dive with the fish and appreciate the sea turtles. The guys who accompanied us at the tbm dive were incredible, extremely attentive!!! In short... We left, my wife and I, from our dear Minas Gerais in the direction of Rio de Janeiro to enjoy a few days of rest. Paradise beaches, good service where we passed, many options of restaurants, from the most accessible to the most exquisite, a tour to be made again in the near future. A thank you to the guide Maristela, from the agency we were appointed and of which we were extremely satisfied "Rio tours and trails", (all extremely attentive and trained, we did not have to worry about anything), who guided us even on a tour of Búzios. The walk was almost perfect. On the same day, the captain of the ports issued a note that made it impossible for any vessel to leave. The walk was done by a gardener. It stopped on two beaches, we passed by viewpoints, finally a lovely place.
