As day tours go, this wasn’t the best in all honesty. The instructions to meet in the morning strongly discouraged pick-ups from individual hotels and to meet in a designated central hotel to save time. We were the only ones who complied with this so were disappointed when we got picked up, just to then spend another hour and 15 minutes picking everybody else up from their hotels. When we finally did set off for Christ the Redeemer, the first stop on the tour, we practically passed our hotel. The driver of our minibus drove erratically the whole day, often swerving last minute behind cars so he could switch lanes, speeding then braking hard, making the journey not very enjoyable at all. Some of the places advertised on the itinerary were not properly visited. The description makes out like you spend a fair amount of time in some neighbourhoods but in actual fact, it’s two or three locations in one stop, so felt this was a little misleading. The positives were the buffet lunch and the tour guide, Quintos Campos, who had a lot of energy and who rearranged the order of seeing the sights so we had a better chance of visibility when up Sugarloaf Mountain, which we really appreciated.

Corcovado, located in Rio de Janeiro, is one of the world-renowned hills for its statue of Christ the Redeemer, an imposing figure 38 meters high. This magnificent sculpture is one of the most important icons of Brazil, providing a privileged panoramic view of the city of Rio de Janeiro. One-hour stop at the site, ticket included
The Sugar Loaf Cable Car is a cableway system located in the Urca district, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It connects Praia Vermelha to Morro da Urca and Morro do Pão de Açúcar. This incredible infrastructure is one of the main tourist attractions in the city. Stop for an hour and twenty at the site, ticket included.
The Cathedral of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, popularly called the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, is a religious building of Catholic worship located in the heart of downtown Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Its inauguration took place in 1979, assuming the role of the city's cathedral, replacing the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
The Estádio Jornalista Mário Filho, better known as Maracanã, or popularly called Maraca (in reference to the sound of the birds that inhabited the region, which resembled a rattle in the Tupi-Guarani language), is an iconic football stadium located in the Zona North of Rio de Janeiro. Its inauguration took place in 1950, during the mandate of the then General of Division and Mayor of the Federal District of Rio de Janeiro, Marechal Ângelo Mendes de Moraes, and was the stage for the games of the Soccer World Cup that year. 30-minute stopover. Outside visit to take pictures.
Marquês de Sapucaí, known as the Sambódromo of Rio de Janeiro and officially called Passarela Professor Darcy Ribeiro, is an iconic structure used for parades by samba schools. Located on Avenida Marquês de Sapucaí, in the center of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Sambódromo is the stage for great shows and celebrations during Carnival. 30-minute stopover. Opportunity to visit outside and take pictures.
Lapa is a lively and bohemian neighborhood, famous for its traditional bars, nightclubs with live music, dance halls and lively open-air samba circles under the iconic Arcos da Lapa, an aqueduct reminiscent of the Roman style. Another area teeming with nightlife is the area around Escadaria Selarón, a unique architectural masterpiece decorated with hand-painted tile mosaics.
Escadaria Selarón, situated between the Santa Teresa and Lapa neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is an impressive architectural masterpiece adorned by renowned Chilean artist Jorge Selarón, who lived in Brazil for many years. Selarón declared that the staircase is a "tribute to the Brazilian people". 30-minute stopover.

We took the full-day tour in Rio on Saturday, February 14. The package included lunch and visits to multiple attractions throughout the day. Unfortunately, the experience did not match what was advertised. Due to Carnival street closures, the tour was significantly cut short. I completely understand that Carnival creates logistical challenges and that certain streets may be closed. However, this is a known, predictable event. For that reason, this full-day tour should not be sold during Carnival if the itinerary cannot realistically be delivered. As visitors from outside Brazil, we were not aware that these closures are standard during Carnival. We assumed it was an isolated situation and trusted that if the tour was being offered, it could be fully executed. Pickup was also 30 minutes late with no communication or update, which was disappointing. Once everyone was on board, we were informed that only two of the seven advertised stops would be possible: Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. While these are iconic highlights, they do not justify the price of a full-day tour that was marketed as a comprehensive city experience with multiple stops and lunch included. On a positive note, the guide and the driver were excellent—professional, friendly, and doing their best under the circumstances. My recommendation: do not book the full-day tour during Carnival. There is no realistic way to deliver the full itinerary during these festivities, and you will likely end up paying far more than the experience actually provided.
Great tour. Well organized and smoothly done. I was late due to lack of communication. Tour guide was very patient though. May be a good idea for the tour guide to text people the day before to remind them of the pick up time as Viator instructions can sometimes be confusing. Really recommend this tour and please tip the guide as they make less than 50% of the money you pay online.
We have a fantastic time our tour guide was wonderful and we enjoyed learning about Rio De Janeiro :)
It was a wonderful trip, thank you for everything. I will definitely choose you again on my next visit. Thank you karen guia .
This was a disappointment. Our tour guide provided very little if any narrative of Rio’s history and did not point out many notable sights as we drove along. We were cramped into a mini bus which was extraordinarily small for the 12 or so in the group. The only positive was that she was very organized, able to navigate the group through the crowds at Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. This was not worth the money.
Great tour . Friendly and helping guides. Very well planned .we have got information about the history of the places. We also got lunch along with trips which was a saviour in a new country
We attended this tour because of the many things that were offered! Our tour guide was mini Gia and we loved him! He made sure we were comfortable and well prepared on what we should see and what we should do on each site visit. I would definitely recommend doing this excursion if you're trying to do a full city tour in a day! You will not be disappointed.
I got the tour guide "Mar". She was very friendly, active, very good English speaking. She gave us sufficient time at each attraction and recommend best spot for the photo at each place.
Highest commendations for a great itinerary and staff. The tour guide was exceptional and the organization and communication before and during the tour was excellent. The sites visited were great and the handling of tickets and lines made entry ready and much faster than without three guides help. Strongest recommendation for a great day tour!
Un Dia en Rio" tour surpassed expectations! Exploring Rio's vibrant culture and stunning landscapes was a dream. The guide's expertise and enthusiasm made the day truly exceptional. An absolute must-do for anyone visiting Rio!
The tour was outstanding. Mar was so attentive to our group and spoke in English, Spanish, and Portuguese with everyone. Everything worked out perfectly because we were supposed to go up to the Christ statue in the morning but it was cloudy. So she adjusted the itinerary to go to Sugar Loaf first and then the statue last. This ensured that the view was clear at the top. We had enough time at all the stops. Overall, we highly recommend this tour to everyone. 👍🏼👍🏼
I did the city tour alone but met cool people in my group. I really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide was great. A lot of attractions were visited. I loved the discounts of merchandise everywhere we went. And lunch was good. At the end of the tour, I was wore out in a very good way. I would not have been able to visit all of the attractions on my own. I feel as though it was a very good value.
The guide was excellent and we were very happy with the tour. We recommend it for a great day out.
Rafael was an outstanding tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the sights and it's history and background. Highly recommended for a visit to Rio
We loved the tour, super complete, in just one day we managed to see the most famous places in Rio. Our guide João was excellent, super friendly and welcoming to everyone, I really loved it!!!
Fantastic company, all wonderful and attentive professionals! Super recommend, guide and driver note 1000
My daughter and I had a great day For those coming to Rio for the first time it was an agency that I recommend The perfect guide and knows given special attention to each and very engaging. I highly recommend it and the agency Thank you for these unforgettable moments
I am grateful for the support provided in the care and for Guia Campos. He was just phenomenological! Attentive, helpful, polite, professional and yet took us to a varied and wonderful restaurant! Campos apranted our experience! Gratitude!
John was our guide, and it was sensational! Demonstrated a lot of knowledge and sympathy! We could learn more about the history of Rio and its beauties.
Very good, attentive. Wonderful experience. We were in a couple, we knew everything, we had a lunch that was too worth it
Very good experience and enriching, the guide contributes a lot to a tour full of information and pleasant. I recommend this tour and soon I would like to do others.
We loved, the guide was very attentive and the places beautiful, great lunch. We were picked up at the hotel and was one of the best experiences of the trip
I loved the guide Gabi super cheerful and lively was amazing to walk with her and with the driver I do not remember his name but called him GG a super charismatic gentleman and explained very well the sights both deserve an increase. Even in a rainy weather the two made it an unforgettable experience
Very serious Enterprise, which demonstrates great care with customers. We loved the city tour all day in Rio de Janeiro, especially with the tour guide Gabriela, excellent professional and very attentive! Sure, we'll be back!
Excellent experience. The tourist sites were what we were and waiting for. With an extroverted and well-informed Guide. Lunch in a good place with good food. I recommend it to everyone.
Very good the tour, really they go everywhere they promise, the very good tour guide tbm, now I know pq say wonderful city ❤️
What an incredible experience!! I loved everything, I highly recommend it, I loved the tours, the patience you had and also the guides who are extremely patient and attentive.
Great tour! Super cool tourist guide (mini guide tops). I just have to say thank you, everything was amazing, I loved it....
The landscapes are incredible, we took lots of photos, an incredible experience. I highly recommend the company, everyone is very professional, the guide is very attentive, the driver too. I recommend it 😍😍
A wonderful tour! With visits to sensational tourist sites! The whole day. The guide Karen was super attentive! I recommend!
Our experience was great, the guide was very kind to us and even though it was high season we were able to enjoy the tour a lot, the restaurant had great food despite being very busy and we had to wait, two things we didn't like was that they set a time and in At the last minute they told us that they would leave early by phone and we had to run, another point was for the group, some people in our van took too long to get back from their points, other than that it was wonderful, we always want to go with you 😉
A day on the river was great, we really enjoyed it and made the most of it, an incredible trip and totally worth it.
We loved the tour, it was really complete, we left at 8:30 in the morning and returned at 7:00 pm, we saw all the most famous tourist spots, very good 🤩😍
Very cool and beautiful tour, we passed by the city's main tourist attractions and included lunch. The guide was very practical and attentive to the tourists. I recommend it to everyone.
It was an excellent experience! Visiting Rio was a dream. Everyone was very attentive and provided incredible moments.
The landscapes are the best, we took incredible photos..... Well-monitored tours, very good lunch.
Very serious and trustworthy company. The tour met all of our expectations. I recommend! The practicality of being able to count on transport, guide and entry to the sites is the big difference for those who need guidance and security.
The tour was really cool. I recommend wearing very comfortable and cool clothes due to the heat and because you will be walking a lot. We took the following route: Selaron Staircase - Metropolitan Cathedral - Sambadrome (we didn't stop) - Maracanã - Christ - Sugar Loaf. The first guide with whom I started the tour was very punctual, at 8 am (sharp) she was in front of my accommodation. They ended up changing my guide/van for reasons of space in the van I was in and the second guide seemed helpful, but ended up paying a little more attention to the people who spoke Spanish (most of the people on the tour) and sometimes I asked him to repeat the information because I ended up getting a little far away. I ended up sitting next to the driver and he was really nice, he showed us some other points and answered some questions like "where does this avenue lead to?"/"Are we in Botafogo?". I recommend taking a "snack" to take until the lunch stop (which was made at 2:40 pm) because otherwise you'll get hungry. When we arrived at the restaurant, the self-service area had few options and was quite full - I believe it was due to the time factor + number of people. My second guide was very clear about payment, so I suggest you leave the money in your plan so it doesn't take too long to make the payment and doesn't delay things lol. Prefer cash or pix, because the card has that “machine” fee. Be careful not to lose your ticket to Pão de Açúcar, I lost mine and it caused me a bit of a headache xD.
With good organization, it is difficult to make people with different cultures adapt to schedules and disciplines. That's why I praise work of the guide and the staff who organize the tour.
I recommend it to everyone, great tours, good service from the agency and guides, a good variety of tour options and an excellent price.
The tour is very good, they pick you up at your hotel. The van is comfortable and air conditioned (appreciated). They take you to the agreed places, they explain things to you and they are always looking out for you. The food is good (you only have to pay for the drinks). The tour is almost all day, so you have to keep that in mind. It is a great option if you have little time to explore on your own. Thanks 🙂
The tour includes the main attractions of Rio, our guide Marcio was super friendly, he explained the history of each place in two languages at the same time. We had fun and recommend everyone to request the tour. The good thing is that they look for you and bring you from your hotel 😊
The full-day City Tour in Rio de Janeiro was an unforgettable immersion into the soul of the city. From the cobblestone streets of Santa Teresa to the iconic beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, each stop painted a vivid picture of Rio's diversity. The Corcovado towering Christ the Redeemer left me in awe, while the Sugarloaf Mountain offered stunning panoramas. Lunch with tasty local dishes was a delight for the senses. The guide, full of historical knowledge and enthusiasm, elevated the journey. This comprehensive tour is a captivating dive into Rio's rich cultural tapestry, leaving you wanting to explore even more.
The city tour is wonderful for seeing all the spots in just one day, the guide explains everything clearly, it's totally worth it. On the day we went, it was not possible to climb Christ, the guide gave us back part of the heat from the tour (corresponding to part of Christ). Agency would be safe and secure, I highly recommend it.
Excellent city tours Rio de Janeiro we loved meeting Christ the Redeemer, sugar bread ,Selaron stairs, great cable car 👍👍👍👍👍👍
The river tour was wonderful in addition to knowing every river attraction in one day was worth it even for the best photos, not counting lunch included. It was worth it!
It was the first experience at a tourist agency in the city of Rio de Janeiro, and it was something that left us very satisfied. The guide Márcio, showed and detailed the history of each point visiting, sugar bread, Christ the Redeemer, Sambódromo, Maracanã and other tourist sights visited. And I definitely indicate, and the agency has other options for tours in Rio de Janeiro.
Amazing experience! Passionate professionals, well-planned scripts, and unforgettable moments. I recommend!
The views are beautiful, we took several photos for terms of remembrance The guides know what they're talking about, take away all our doubts and are super cool
