Bruno went above and beyond. Telling us and showing us all the highlights in the centro of Rio. There’s no way we could’ve found all these hidden gems on our own. I had experienced the beaches and caipirinhas, but after some time in Rio, I wanted to know more about the history of this enchanting city. Bruno and the Past to the Present tour was just what I needed. Five minutes into the tour, I knew I was in the right hands. Bruno. was prepared with facts, trivia, intrigue that brought the city alive. He encouraged questions and provided well researched responses. Based on some questions, he knew my interests, and branched out to include other facts he might have otherwise not included. For example, he shared a book of vintage now/then photos that compared certain historical spots in the city to modern day. His knowledge about how one of the hills was razed to increase the size of the city was fascinating. I admired his passion, focus on details, depth of knowledge, and sensitivity to history that he brought to his subject matter. You will not be disappointed with the tour. Bruno makes history come to life right before your eyes.

I did the Tour with Bruno and I was blown away!! Even before the tour Bruno reached out with information on restaurants and bars I may like to go to and offered assistance. The tour itself was fantastic, Bruno was a wealth of information about the history of Rio de Janeiro. The walking tour was great, it was to long nor too short but just right. As I was on my own Bruno helped with photos so that I would have plenty of memories. I mentioned the Favela tour as I was apprehensive doing that kind of tour not knowing what to expect. Bruno was kind enough to take me on the same day to do the Favela tour. I can’t thank him enough as a whole new world was shown to me on that tour. The experience was phenomenal, again all the information Bruno provided was fantastic, I learned so much, I highly recommend both tours and Bruno as your guide.

Bruno is a fantastic guide, we had a brilliant time today!! We learnt so much about the city, it lasted around 5 hours due to the rain but that was no problem at all. It was very nice chatting with Bruno and getting to know him better. The cathedral definitely defines “Do not judge a book by its cover” the inside was incredible!! There’s plenty of opportunity to take pictures along the way. Bruno is so knowledgeable and a lovely guy. I ended up being the only one on my tour and Bruno still gave me the full experience just like he would have with a group. I felt very safe the entire time and the five hours we spent walking through the city felt like an hour! I had done a $200 full day tour the day before and had learned more in the 5 hours I spent with Bruno than the 10 hours I spent on my full day tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and even when I asked more questions he knew all the answers, it was incredible! He also knew all the good cameraangles at every place we went to and went the extra mile to make sure the experience was unique. You can definitely tell this is more than job for him. Very greatful for this experience and am very excited to come back with my family!

That was an experience! We did the 4 hours tour and ended up with 5-6 hours and it was so much fun. Bruno is a very open, experienced and knowledgeable guy. He took us to all the spots in and around Centro and could tell us a lot about the history and current situation. He knows so much! I learned a lot about Rio and Brazil, even the "deeper layers" no travel guide contains. The best thing, though, was Bruno. He is such a welcoming, warm and open person. If you go six hours on a private tour you through a City you don't really know you have to like and trust your guide. With Bruno we could. It was amazing. The tour with Bruno was excellent. It’s advertised as a long walking tour but never felt like a long tour as he was engaging and informative from the beginning. I learned so much about the history and culture of RJ from Bruno, who gave an honest locals view of life in the city. The sights we saw were interesting and he added additional detail with his excellent knowledge that you may not get on other tours.
