Cristo Redentor + City Tour: Transfers, Local Guide And Tickets.

Great tour! Everything worked out beautifully. We were picked up from our hotel on time in a comfortable van and the tour guide and driver were both so pleasant. We enjoyed our tour and it was worth every penny.

Enjoyed the tour Giselle our guide did an excellent guide. We took awesome pictures and enjoyed the trip.

My partner and I traveled to Rio for the first time and on our second day we had this tour booked with Viviane. She was the best tour guide giving us all the great information about the city with historical context at every landmark (in both English and Portuguese!). Viviane paced the tour incredibly well with each stop feeling like the perfect amount of time spent. She ended our tour with a very sweet message to the group as well! Our first time in Rio was made incredibly special and unforgettable by Viviane, we will be back!!!

Great way to see multiple stops in the city. Stops are quick but not rushed. Your guides are friendly and translated to English

This was an adequate tour for the price, but certainly would have been better if the tour guide was more adept with English. It isn’t that I expect everyone to speak English, and am fine if they would have told us beforehand that the English was limited. But we booked this tour because it advertised as being in English. It was mostly in Spanish with a little English thrown in. We managed, but it was a bit of a letdown.

The Corcovado/Christ Redeemer portion of the tour was good. The rest was not special. Although my tour was scheduled for ~5 hours, it was combined with others on tour for several more hours. The tour guide communicated poorly about when the shorter tour ended. I and others on the shorter tour were not immediately transported to our respective drop-off destinations. Regardless of which tour, the choice of buffet restaurant was awful. It was way too crowded, and communication was poor from the tour guide about the dining cost. There are better tours for sites within the city and likely better options for Corcovado.

If you are English speaking then this is not for you. Our tour guide spoke mainly in Portuguese and didn’t explain much in English. Half of the time we did not know what was going on. When we went to the steps, we were only given the opportunity to take a picture and had to leave. Ended up spending more time in the souvenir shop than we actually did on the selaron steps. No chance to walk up the steps. Everything was rushed and we did not get to enjoy that part of the excursion. During the drive the tour guide spoke about the history but this was only in Portuguese. Very disappointing . The only highlight was actually being at Christ the redeemer as we got an hour to do that by ourselves and enjoy it

Wonderful and hitch free experience. Our tour guide, Eduardo, was warm and patient. Took his time to provide relevant history at the sites as well as during transfers. Very beautiful scenery at Christ the Redeemer statue, got to have a view of the city.👌. .Oh and then the view of the city from mirante is breathtaking, from here you see sugar loaf and the beach (Copacabana I guess), you’d also sight the statue and appreciate the height (again) from sea level. We were there on a Sunday morning in September and from what we gathered, this was good timing as there’s less traffic. However to enjoy the tour fully, it’s advisable to wear comfortable and warm clothes, also take a jacket cos it may be cold as you ascend

This was the best decision ever made to visit Christ the redeemer. The tour guide was very helpful and communicated well through WhatsApp pick up was easy and each stop was a breeze. She was very informative and gave us a quick history lesson at each stop! BOOK with this Tour guide!

Ana Maria was a great host and translated between two languages for all of us travelers. We spent an ample amount of time at each location and Ana Maria was helpful in answering questions and giving recommendations. We did Christ the Redeemer at the end which was opposite of what the sample itinerary, but it all worked out. Unfortunately there was a power outage at the entrance of the Christ the Redeemer, so we went back down the mountain to enjoy lunch at a buffet. Thankfully it was open when we went back up. Afterward, half of the van opted to go to Sugarloaf Mountain, so we dropped them off and the driver proceeded to take the rest of us back to our hotels. Overall great experience for a good price!

It was amazing. It was raining , i think it was the best could happen, because it was dificult to get every place, and Cristo was as in the sky, literally. Thanks to the guide Diana, she loves what she is doing, she loves Rio de Janeiro and history . The group was amazing. Thanks God.!!!!!

The tour was incredible, despite being tiring it was an excellent experience. Special thanks to the guide Eduardo and the Van driver, very patient, respectful, and professional in leading the tour, in addition to great knowledge of the city.

Everything was super good, only I think it would be good to do the Christ tour first to take advantage of the sun and so it is not so cloudy because it was the last one we did.

Our experience with the City River Tour was excellent! We were a group of 20 people and we hired the ride to Christ the Redeemer and the City Tour through the city. From the first contact, the company's service was impeccable. On the day of the tour, we were very well received by the guide Drica and the driver Romualdo. Drika was extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout the script. In addition to sharing stories and very interesting information about the sights, she had all the patience with our group, which included children and the elderly. He also helped us with photo tips and recorded beautiful moments for all of us. It was a wonderful day, very well organized, pleasant, cultural and full of good memories.
