A bit expensive for the experience. I could have easily done the tour on my own. You have to get to the Hilton from your hotel. Wear walking shoes and be prepared for large crowds.

The guide, Luciania, was great, but the information flow could have been a lot better. It was stated that the tour start was at 8 am. However, the night before I received the pick up time, which was at 6.20. Apparently, the 8 am was the time for when we actually were up at the statue. Did not expect that at all. Also, the tour did not last 3 hours. There were some waiting and another stop we didn’t plan for, and we ended up leaving the tour early to finish in the time we had scheduled for. The guide said it could take 4-6 hours to finish the half day tour.

Tour was awesome and planned very well. We had Vivianne as our tour guide and she had a great attitude and communicated the plan very well, I would recommend not planning something directly after the tour as we experienced delays, howeve, these were due to people not showing up on time to the meeting points, which is no fault to the actual tour. Overall highly recommended, bus was nice, and pickup was seamless.

Excellent choice! Daniel was a kind and knowledgeable tour guide who took great care of the group. Christ the Redeemer and the Selarón steps are magnificent. Most of us are in Rio for the Cowboys and Ravens game so it was sweet treat to stop by the stadium!

Publio was an excellent guide. If every guide at C2Rio is like him you’re in good hands. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to earn a Five Star review. Would definitely do this again.

It’s a very good tour. Although the pick-up time was slightly late, it was not the driver’s fault at all. The driver, by the way, was awesome.

The view from Cristo Redentor was incredible and we really enjoyed. However there was some mixed up and I got a call when I was waiting for pick up and I was told that I missed pick up and I need to go to other hotel. I got text and email to show my pick up is 8:09, but operator told me that they sent me as 7:30. I almost cancelled via Viator since operator did not answer a call. Fortunately my guide came to my hotel at 8:30 and we could join the tour, but i think they are not well organized and I was misinformed and very bad customer service.

We booked a three hour experience and were told that we got moved to a full day tour. We had other things booked and had to leave the tour half way through without seeing the selarian stairs. We also had to pay a cab to take us back to our hotel.

Prasclla was wonderful, vivacious and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed her and the tour.

Don't book this tour if you don't have time. It is several hours, more like 6 to 8 hours, you're also grouped with a full day group, so there is much more to the itinerary than is said. Way too many unnecessary stops. If you want a quick, seamless tour of christ the redeemer and the stairs, find another tour

The excursion was really well dine and organized. Thalita was responsive and extremely professional. We loved the outing.

Andrea was very kind however seemed extremely unorganized. We waited roughly 30 minutes before entering christ the redeemer because one person needed to buy tickets. this is something that would have been done in the van or beforehand. When we went to the selaron steps we were given 15 minutes to go to the steps, take pictures, meet back at the meeting point which was rather rushed. furthermore, after rushing everyone to the meeting point, she had us wait well over twenty minutes to get those who were going to sugar loaf their tickets, which again was something that have could’ve been done in the van or beforehand.

The tour guide , Leandro was pleasant and supportive. The tour was great. The food was amazing too. My family enjoyed the day tour today . The vehicle provided was comfortable and cool .

I have done a number of tours in different ports of the world and this was one of the best . Our guide Flavio was very helpful , made the day interesting and relaxing . Some guides only have a prepared speech to deliver but Flavio knows a lot of history and geography and was able to answer all our many questions about Rio.

Had an amazing time visiting bucket list sites with Alessandro as our guide. Pickups were punctual and happened without delay. Our host Alessandro was kind and informative. I appreciated their energy and translation to Spanish and English. Obrigada!

The hubby and I booked this tour the day before(11/11/25), kind off the last minute as our scheduled tour was rescheduled. We were picked up from our hotel in a comfortable Mercedes van. The guide, Publiano, was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and ensured that everyone was having a great time. I was extremely impressed that Mr. Publiano was able to converse with all of us who spoke various languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese. Everyone was well informed and was treated equally! Mr. Publiano took great photos for everyone at all the locations. My husband and I had a great time and I would recommend!

We so much fun they told old man was excellent. His English was very good and he was able to get some good pictures of us.

Jal the guide, was super cute. The tour was ok, in general I prefer tours that include more history and funny or curious stories that make me feel more into the places I’m visiting. If you could add these kind of this I think it would make it perfect. Also sharing insights about Brazil people and culture once we pass for different typical places. Idk just some ideas. Also the fact that were 2 languages was a little bit messy for me. I prefer the tour in one only language. The number of people was great, i would make it a little bit shorter. I wouldn’t stoop in the Maracaná.

The tour with our guide, Santos, was a great one! Even though the weather was bad and rainy, we had a great time and were able to get a glimpse of the city of Rio. Greetings from Uruguay!

Priscilla was a legend - she gave the perfect amount of information without you feeling overloaded from factoids. She was accommodating for us and seamlessly switched from English to Spanish to accommodate a diverse group.

Great tour guide, however the tour went 2 hours over. Total time was 5+ hours when advertised as 3 hours. Some people had to cancel afternoon plans due to the late return.

Poor communication made for a confusing day. The tour was conducted in three languages with two different tour options (half and full day) combined into one group. The combining of two tours made the whole experience confusing as to when things ended for the half day tour. There are many extra stops that are not on the Viator description and the tour is a few hours longer than the three hours advertised. If you have time it is great because you get to see extra things but plan accordingly as you never really know when your tour is ending. The tour guide was nice enough but having to manage two different groups in three languages was stressful for him. This is less of a tour and more of a hop on hop off bus for the various sites as when you get there you just walk around on your own. The experience was fine but definitely not what we were expecting.

Our guide Priscilla was so nice and full of energy. She really kept our attention and made sure everyone was together and safe the entire trip. As for the tour…it was a 8/10. I didn’t give it a 10/10 because it was cloudy at the top and we could hardly see the statue. The clouds broke for a split second and we were able to get pics but couldn’t see the city at all. Obviously, you can’t control the weather and it wasn’t anyone’s fault. Just note that depending on the weather and season you may not be able to see anything. I would check to see when the best time to visit to ensure you have a good view. We were allowed 30 mins there because we had other things to get to, could have used a tad longer. Just to reiterate, our guide and driver was fabulous…weather not so much.

Overhyped. Overrated. Underwhelming. The views are nice but I went to Sugarloaf with a better panoramic views, I was here for the architecture and was quite disappointed. Did not meet my expectation. Was kinda expecting that it will blew my mind like how I was blown away by Machu Pichu, Taj Mahal and even Angkor Watt.

I highly recommend this tour. I really enjoyed myself and Raquel is the best. She’s friendly, informative, and very funny. She made the entire experience pleasant and fun.

It was a great tour. The guide was very informative and organised. All the tickets, entries and viewpoints were managed smoothly.

Booked the 1/2 day three hour tour. After booking, the company failed to communicate they had put us on the full day tour. The guide didn’t communicate this fact, and did not answer our questions about the itinerary and timing once we were on the tour. Many other guests also expressed their confusion on the trip itinerary and timing of events. Due to poor communication and not getting any responses from the company and the guide, we had to leave after 4.5 hours and only seeing one of the promised sites. Although hotel pick up and drop off was part of package, had to Uber back to hotel.

The tour guide was very informative along the route to and at the venues. If you asked a question he was happy to answer. We first went to Christ the Redeemer, followed by the Metropolitan Cathedral, Selaron steps and finally 2 cable car rides up sugar Loaf Mountain....was a great experience, good value and would recommend anyone doing it.

It was a once in a life experience, of course the sights are beautiful, but our guide Daniel was always telling us everything about the stops we made and not just the data you can find in a book, he talked about the history, the social environment and why that place means a lot for the folk of Rio. We enjoyed a lot.

The trio was amazing, great vibe. The guide Leandro Martins and the driver Alex arrived on time to pick us and were very friendly.

The driver was an hour and 20 minutes late to pick us up, and communication was very poor letting us know what was happening. Another guest just gave up and left. Christ the Redeemer is much smaller than expected. The tour once it started was great - but I would use another operator in the future due to the bad timing and communication.

Although we were picked up on time and driver and tour guide were fine, line ups were crazy long. It took an hour in line just to get the bus up the mountain to see Christ the Redeemer. Would have liked to have a few more minutes at the steps. Only had time to basically get down and no time at all to look. Felt very rushed. Perhaps if the line ups weren’t so long we would have been allowed more time.

Had such a great time! Our tour guide Piter was great guide and helped us understand some of the history of Rio a bit better. Had time to stop and really see certain attractions and take picture. Definitely would book again and recommend! 10/10

The amount of time we visited the Redeemer statue was very short (10-14 mins). It takes roughly 8 minutes to go from the bottom to the top and back down again. By the time we get there, we had a short time to take some photos and admire the statue. This was disappointing as visiting Redeemer was the main reason I booked the tour. My suggestion is to either extend the visit to 20 minutes or create a tour that only visits the Redeemer and allows the tourists more time to admire the Redeemer. Aside from that, the tour guide (Gustavo) was very friendly, informative and made me feel welcome as the only English speaking guest in the group and I enjoyed the other places we visited. As it is, I’m sorry to say that I can’t recommend this tour.

Ok when in Rio you have to visit Christ the Redeemer but it is awful, had skip the line tickets made little difference a very poorly organised site and when at the foot of the statue the crowds make getting a photo with you in it very difficult. Be there when the gates open with a skip the queue ticket and head straight for your photo

The tour was nice. Emma and the driver were super good. Emma was friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable. We certainly enjoyed seeing the highlights.
