I booked this trip through Viator as a solo traveler and was already prepared for what to expect, from the meeting point pickup, to air-conditioned coach bus, to the 3 hour bus ride to get to the boat, to the 25 BRL shared taxi fees to/from the docks and back to the coach bus, to the recommendation of carrying some spending money in cash to buy snacks and drinks on the party boat, to the final buffet late-lunch (or early dinner), and to the final return to Rio around 9pm. I was also aware of the tour being primarily in dual Portuguese and Spanish, which means that if you require English speaking tour guide, yu must request one specifically (but since I speak Spanish, no issues for me). So I had a great time and the weather was perfect and everything went accordingly as expected. Good communication from the tour provider. Definitely recommend! Thanks!

We were asked to be ready for pick up at 06.40. We were the first to board the bus. Then they started zigzagging around Copacabana and beyond to pick up other guests. After 1 hour we were only 3 blocks away from our hotel... After 2 hours we were done with the pickups and hit some really bad traffic getting out of the city. After 6 1/2 hours on the bus the guide informed us the boat tour was cancelled due to bad winds. I guess that can happen but too bad we found out so late. Instead of cancelling the tour we continued the bus journey for another hour and were told we would visit the 3 beaches by taxi instead. It turned out to be two beaches in the end, one of which was so crowded you could hardly find a place to sit. To further add to the pain, the guide was unable to manage times at stops and we lost loads of time waiting for guests ignoring the time limits, with no consequences. In the end, to avoid another tour of Copacabana dropping people off, we got off once back in Rio and took our own taxi. I would not recommend this tour to anyone unless you’re willing to risk spending significant time on the road and in our case, to not get on a boat at all and only get about 1 hour on a nice beach - out of a 16 1/2 hour day.
The tour wasn't offered in English so I did not understand all of the instructions. The guide could not figure out payments and asked me for money multiple times that I already paid. The tour felt rushed. No time to enjoy any of the beaches, but all of the operators seem to do the same thing to be fair. Lunch was actually dinner. Bring snacks! The boat was not as nearly fun as the others. No slide. I would not book again.
The experience was amazing! There were a few bumps with the bus, but the beauty and fun and the kindness of Flavia made it spectacular! Would 100% do it again!
It is a beautiful place but the tour guide does not speak English as mentioned. The water is cold and visibility was poor so didn't really see any fish
Good value for money, well organised, friendly staff. If I knew it was more like a "party boat", I would not have booked it. Music was so loud on the boat that talking to your friend was hard. And music played was like club music... so definitely not a relaxing day on the boat. I definitely would put that on the description that its great for young party people, not for people who just want to relax on a boat. Also time on the different beaches were very short. Maybe less stops would be nicer so there would be time to spend on each location. Everything felt rushed.

Arraial is a unique place. It was wonderful to be there for the second time. The experience was super complete, because the bus picked us up at the hotel, it took us to Arraial, there we took the boat ride, had dinner and left us back at the hotel. Super Indico!

Rio Passeios e Trilhas tour is an incredible company, offering the best tourist service in Rio de Janeiro. The van is super comfortable, picks up and returns to the hotel. We had a wonderful day on this tour with Rafael. We had not privatized the boat, and yet we had plenty of room which allowed us to feel comfortable and at home on the boat. The islands and views are heavenly. The slide is a very good surprise. Rafael is a good-humoured guide, he made us laugh a lot, as did the adorable photographer. The guide took good care of my companion when he had a slight seasickness. Thank you Rafael from all of us for your sympathy, and we look forward to meeting you again in Rio next time!
The activity is spectacular, the beautiful places, the transportation from the river with air conditioning, the communication with the guide (Rafael) very good, you can tell that he likes to do his job well. It's a great time on the boat, they have a bar, with fair prices, I would return anyway. For those who have stayed far from the meeting points, you should leave well in advance since in the morning in Rio there is chaos with taxis, Uber, etc. It took us more than 1 hour during a 15-minute stretch during normal time, luckily the communication with the guide gave us another meeting point.
I went on a tour alone, I felt welcomed by the agency staff, from the driver, guide, staff who welcomed us and the boat staff. The tour is very beautiful, I will definitely go again, I highly recommend it, an excellent tour option!!!

2h ride through Rio bus the bus was full. Then 2.5 h drive to the Arial. Guide could not speak a word of English, although the tour is sold in English. You are carted from the ship to the beaches in completely overcrowded dinghies. Reminiscent of the Titanic evacuation rather than a nice holiday activity. The beach is closed off on one side with a rope. There everyone queues up to take a selfie of the deserted beach. In fact, it's like an anthill and you're rushed from place to place like cattle. The food is after the ride in an uncomfortable canteen in the village. Doesn't anyone need... Rio has so much to offer. This tour is certainly not one of them.
