Arraial Do Cabo - Boat Trip Departure From Rio De Janeiro Lunch And Transport

Great experience, very fun but little difficult for a person who does not speak Portuguese. Met a girl who helped me a lot. Very long trip, so make sure you use bathroom whenever van stops.

The place and its beaches are amazing. Our guide Giuliana was really kind and well informed whatever i asked her for.

This was an excursion from hell!! Our guide Andreia was horrible. She had no communication did not speak english and also made us walk somewhere else to get picked up that was not our original pickup location. On the tour she was literally sitting in a corner and not helpful at all. The beaches are beautiful but you only spend 30 mins at each location. They say they provide lunch and “lunch” was not given until 5:30pm and it was cold and nasty. The bus was very dirty and stinky. The ride there is very long and driving back is even longer. After all of this Andreia then skipped our drop off and when we noticed and said something she advised she will bring us back to the corner and then we had to walk. Keep in mind we are two females in bikinis walking at almost 10pm at night which is not safe. I never had such a bad experience in my life. Never Again. Do not waste your money or time!!

If you are thinking about booking this excursion, please DO NOT do it. We set the location of the pick up to the Copacabana Palace. We reached out on WhatsApp to confirm the pick up location and time the day before. Our guide Andrea told us to be at the pick up point at 7:45am. After about 15 mins of l waiting on the street we contacted Andrea. She did not respond. We then be began to call and she did not respond. At about 8:30am Andrea then called and said she needed us to walk to a different pick up location. So to recap they picked us up over 40 mins late, and we then had to move to a different location than the one we arranged and confirmed. The islands they take you to are beautiful, but you only get to spend 30 minutes at each location. The lunch they promised is more like dinner because we didn’t eat until 5:30pm since they do not believe in operating on time according to the schedule provided. The lunch was essentially French fries, rice, and some questionable chicken. I could get better food from a street vendor. On the ride back we dropped off a family at the Hilton hotel. Which is down the street from the Copacabana palace (our original drop off location) instead the driver was directed by Andrea to go to a different hotel. When I noticed that they skipped our hotel I immediately got up to tell the guide. She seemed completely confused at the fact that she skipped our hotel. We were now approximately 15 mins away from the original drop off point. Andrea then said “I will drop you guys off at the corner and you can walk because we can’t go back”. That is when I lost it because 2 girls in bikinis walking the streets of Rio AT 9:30 PM is extremely dangerous. Andrea couldn’t care less about the arranged drop off location. If I did not say something, she probably would have not noticed she skipped our drop off. We then asked her to pull her immediately before we got even further from our hotel and had to uber home. If you value your time and money please do not book this excursion.

I throughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone! Arraial do Cabo most certainly deserves the name “Brazilian Caribbean” and is a must see when in Brazil! Our guide Juliana was incredible - super friendly and great English. The boat staff were excellent and it was nice that they had food and drinks to purchase. The buffet is at the end of the tour so more like an early dinner than a lunch but thankfully we brought snacks and enjoyed some chicken shish kebabs on the boat. Don’t hesitate - just book it!

Our guide was lovely but had to ask her to say things in English which she did but I missed the facts along the way and on the boat if my family who speak Spanish had not been with me I would not of understood anything even though I asked for a English speaking trip

Great way to spend my birthday. beautiful beaches, fun party boat, good music, good food, and great scenery.

Disappointing, poor assistance, the company does not contact in advance to instruct the customer, since we do not know how it works, only calls on the day, at the time of boarding. The guide is friendly, but did not give assistance, simply made the route of the bus, stop points and boarding / landing on the boat and literally disappeared. So we stay like consumers of the boat, the prices are high - the food very tasty - a bit that we are "needed to buy a glass" to drink the drink they sell, the poor musical selection, nothing to do with the environment. The end for me was to have to rent a vest for those who do not know how to swim, being that it is a tour that offers a bath of sea and see marine animals, the tour is incomplete and the feeling of lost time and money, in addition to acquiring frustration. Know that you will spend several hours on the bus - literally you will pay to ride the bus, because the time at the attractions is little - it is disappointing to have to pay for things that should have already been solved in advance, especially when you book an excursion is to relax and not worry about basic things. And I also hired 2 rides in advance to different locations with the same company, and were discouraging.

Our trip was changed to Angra dos Reis. The meeting time was 7:00 and they only arrived at 7:45, without any warning or response to our contact attempts. Only almost in time to arrive gave feedback. The said lunch was at the end of the afternoon and we had to buy food on the boat to last until this time. Snorkeling equipment must also be paid separately.

Actually nothing was right and I would like to give zero rating stars. Instead of a boat tour we drove the bus that was okay the for the weather nobody can what but the guide could not really speak English. And was absent for half the time anyway. Without a nice Brazilian family who translated for us and looked after us, we would be lost now.

I didn't. They didn't come looking for me. I've been waiting two hours and nothing. I don't really recommend it. I woke up at 6 and I was waiting till 9:00.

Incredible landscapes, very attentive and polite boat staff, very good itinerary, great beaches and diving spots.

Arraial is very beautiful, but it is very far from Rio. It seemed to me that everything was done in the run there. We got caught at the hotel at 7:30, we left Rio only at 9:00. They could optimize the search of tourists in the hotels, an hour and a half just in the minibus picking up the other passengers, and on the tours itself was done all in a hurry. The guide was friendly. The lunch was very simple (rice, beans, grilled chicken, potatoes, simple salad), but it was nice. On the boat they rented a mask and snorkel for $30, but there was no place with marine life to be observed. I found that kind of bad. Worth the experience, but would not go again.

Excursion sympathique avec guide jovial cependant : - prévoir 6-7h de trajet pour la journée (3h30-aller) - prévoir 1h en plus le temps que le guide passe chercher tous les participants de chaque hôtel - ne pas avoir le mal de mer ou de transport en général : 4-5h de bateau d’affilé et aller/retour en bus - bien manger le matin avant le départ car vous ne mangez pas avant 17h de l’après midi

Disappointing! The guide gave no assistance. We were aware of the boat, which was blocked by the Navy. But we were not guided by the team and we were left without any guidance! On the return we were left in the middle of the way (which was not the hotel) at 00h, and we did not know the city. Very bad and boring! Do not recommend!

Unfortunately it has been the worst Service, it goes without saying the food we do not recommend (place without any cleaning). Very messy, they arrived after 50 minutes at the pickup. Nothing to recommend a terrible experience

The place is beautiful, but the water is cold! Tourism exploitation is awful, with exorbitant prices in both beach food and the exploitation of chairs and umbrellas. Tourists are treated like fast money providers, with no respect! The only good rating was from the hostel, in which the tourist is treated as "people" and that has the respect it deserves!!!

Simply the best agency. Super attentive attendant Kilian on WhatsApp, the guide Marlene very funny, smart, super proactive and resilient! With my eyes closed, I point to everyone who wants to have an incredible and safe experience in Rio de Janeiro.

Nowadays, you buy or stop buying with an agency, but in the end it's all the same because they come together. This walk inside the escuna brings together other groups, has music, dances. Escaped my expectation

It was the best tour I did with this Enterprise, Arraial do Cabo is beautiful, the boat is lively, the guide very polite and attentive, very good food and comfortable bus for the trip!

Maximum score, everything perfect exceeding all my expectations. Not to mention the dedication and affection of Enterprise with us tourist.

The tour was great but I would like to point out that I found the ad wrongly written! The way the title is written may suggest that it is a boat ride departing from Rio to Arraial (ook does not proceed, and may even be obvious to some but generates confusion for others) In addition, I see that the route is not detailed in the description, especially if it is not possible to make the boat ride due to strong wind - as was our case. For this situation there is an alternative route of tour, which in my opinion would be of extreme importance to be well described in the ad. The absence of this information can generate some breaks of expectations... That said, it was a very enjoyable experience... The place is beautiful! Highlight here for our guide of the day, Victoria! Those who are lucky to go with her will see that it is very organizational and sympathetic :) Gold Tip: There is a website called "Wind Guru", through which you can see the daily wind forecast for your tour. If you are not favorable and you are not interested in making the alternative terrestrial route, you can cancel in time!

The tour is well unorganized, besides that the boat ride is not guaranteed. Also the choices of the restaurant and taxis are pretty bad.
