Lots of swimming. Great drinks. Friendly people. I enjoyed purchasing souvenirs. The boat was comfortable.

The water is very calm, no waves at all and crystal-clear colour.
It is where the first settlers started to inhabited in Ilha Grande.
A small beach with a stretch of golden or white sand and calm, crystal-clear waters in beautiful emerald-green shades.

We went to about 3-4 islands, the lady I believe her name was Raquel was very nice and kind! The fries I had were very good I would recommend! Although I bought a snorkel and couldn’t see much underwater it’s not their fault!
The tour was fun. The process of getting there was not. We had to go to a hotel at 6am to be picked up, which was fine, however we spent about 2 hours stopping at different hotels picking people up which added too much time to the already extremely long ride we had to take to the actual beaches. The tour guide was also kind of crazy, she was very disorganized and a bit rude. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but this required a more efficient way of being done.
Good overall, its a pretty long day with transportation from Rio (leave 8am return 8:30p) but worth the experience of visiting Angra its beautiful there! Overall well organized tour, I would recommend this company. Th bus picked us up from hotel about 1 hour late, that was really the only issue. Also wish they would have informed on booking page pricing for extras for sale on tour (snorkling equip, drinks, food, appetizers, etc…)
The water is great, the islands are great, the company and other travelers were also great and as a solo traveler I truly appreciate that. I only wished there was more ambiance on the boat like more music that's why 4 stars. The experience was truly worth the price....the on board drinks were also on point.
A bit crowed however it is amazing value for the money. Round trip bus ride, buffet lunch that was pretty good and a long boat ride with many stops. Although we did not see Angra dos Reis
-1 star lost for being 49 minutes late and tardiness -1 star lost for professionalism( asked for an eta and kept saying that it was unfounded for them being late as there was traffic) -1 star lost for poor communication. The tour guide not speaking English( we had to ask our friends who are bilingual to keep us in the loop) -3 star for the experience: 3 hour bus ride, to get the the l grande island, from there a boat ride the music was very loud music -my TM about to rupture, the water was not clean, they charge 60 for snorkel rental, three islands 30-50 minutes each, the buffet is basic beans, chicken, fish-very basic. Advise: if you are English speaker -do not go If you want hype fun and experience- do not go there. If you care about good quality food- do not go Honestly we confidently would say our worst experience in Brazil.
When we booked this tour we expected a small group tour where we enjoy a lovely boat ride to multiple islands. Here is how it actually went: 7:30-11:30 in a tour bus picking people up and driving to boat. 12:30-1:30 waiting around with hundreds of people while we wait for them to pay 1:30 get on the boat which was over crowded leaving no seats so people had to sit on middle console. There were about 75 people on the boat. 1:30-2:30 boat ride 2:30 we finally got to spot where we could snorkel and it was nice. We had about 50 minutes at the first stop. Even though we indicated we wanted to snorkel, they didn't have enough. The lady said she mistakenly only got 7.... also snorkeling is an extra cost. 3:15 got to next stop.... here you can pay to jet ski for 5 minutes, swim or lay on the beach.... we had 30 minutes. 3:40 we got to another beach but we're only given 15 minutes...mind you it takes at least 10 for 75 people to get off the boat. 4pm we reached the last stop where we finally got the lunch that was included in the tour. That's 8 1/2 hours you wait for lunch. I think it's intentional because when you get on the bus they tell you lunch isn't until 4 and then give you a menu to buy food, which you really have no choice but to do at that point. 5 pm to 10pm we driving home and drop offs. That's 10 hours on a bus or waiting around and really only about 2 hours total on the beach.... oh and they charge for life vest....on a boat. While the locations were beautiful I don't recommend this tour. By the time we reached the locations I had a headache from all the hassle it took to get there. Also, the tour guide barely interpreted anything to English even though she spoke it so we were often just lost.
The bus was great. We were about 2 hours late getting there because of traffic and several hours late getting home - again mainly because of traffic. We got home at around 01:30-02:00, and we were the first to get off the bus. Except from the traffic, we waited for maybe 45 minutes after getting off the boat (the walk was 5 minutes). We were waiting for a drunk dude who, when he finally came to the bus, had forgotten his bag on the boat, so we left without him. The boat ride itself was pretty fun, but it was definitely like a party boat. I probably would not recommend for children or if you are simply looking to have a chill or quiet day. We rented snorkeling gear, but it was quite difficult to see anything at the lagoons, because so many boats, people and anchors were tearing up the sand bottom. We did get to see a lot of fish, because someone brought fish food.
This is not an activity I enjoyed for several reasons: - It takes too long to get there from Rio de Janeiro. We spent about 2 hours picking up people around the city. - The boat was over-crowded and so if you are looking for a small group activity, this is not it. The boat also got a bit wet but this is partly due to the rainy weather. - There was loud music and you had to talk loud to be heard. - The food/lunch is served at 4pm on the last stop on an island which is a bit late. The company does tell you this though. It was okay. Other than that, you get to visit several islands and beaches and swim with pretty fish. Also, it rained when we went which made it worse but I cannot blame the company for that.
Very friendly staff, great activities, incredible value. Only con was food sucked :( but everything else was awesome!
We were very fortunate and had such a beautiful day at Angra dos Reis. The sun was shining and our group was smaller which was amazing as well! We got to see beautiful places! The beach was very lovely and water was just as great for a nice swim! We enjoyed it very much and recommend booking the tour! Just make sure the weather forecast will show sunny day! 😊☀️
We were picked up in a luxury bus, there was a lot of travel on this trip so this made it very comfy. The boat was a real treat to, an old world wooden boat to ship us around to the islands. It was essentially a party boat with very loud music. The islands and beaches were great, enjoyed the experience.
Not as described. Bus took 4.5 hrs to get to Angra dos Reis from pick up. Boat was overcrowded with loud booming "club" music. Lunch was in a cafe on the beach not on the boat. Uncovered food swarming with flies 🤢. No safety instructions given un English on the boat. Not recommended
This was an absolutely fantastic tour. The bus was a little late but the group was in communication with us about the delay and they picked us up right from our hotel. The tour itself was fantastic with each beach location offering something new. The food was better than expected as well and the staff was very kind and accommodating. By the time it was over I felt like I had gotten the right value for what I paid and I felt fulfilled by the experience given.
Amazing experience visiting 3 areas to swim. The background was magic tic and truly enjoyable. Friendly people having a great time and dancing, what is not to like about this trip. Highly recommend & and our guide Sylvia was very experienced and informative.
It was an awesome trip. I recommend the visit and commend the tour guides for an excellent work. The day started with a pick-up, filled by the boat ride. The sea adventures and stops were cool and the lunch was well organized.
Leo was the best guide, he made sure we understood and enjoy our trip. The boat was a bit overcrowded, but the views are espectacular, the music was authentic so where all the crew at the "Aconchego IV" "kudos" for their hard work and for making our experience great.
The trip was generally good, however the food was terrible and “lunch” was not served until 4pm. Also, drinks are not included, our guide did not speak English and explained nothing in English unless we asked (and then it was poor), there was only one beach stop for half an hour and the journey was over 2 hours longer than we expected. That said, the staff were excellent and the trip was generally enjoyable. The island and scenery were beautiful. It’s a long day with minimal interaction with the beach.
It was a great tour. The beaches were amazing and being on the boat was a lot of fun and we met a lot of people
Great adventure! I would go again! I love the three beaches. I’m wish we could have stayed longer on the beach.
awful experience. Most of time spent on coach for the transfers. ‘Lunch’ delayed until 16:30 and they try to sell you food until then to make extra money. Chicken wasn’t cooked properly. I would rate this 0/5 if Tripadvisor allowed. Felt mis-sold and ripped off.
This was by far and away the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. So, so incompetent and unprofessional it’s actually unbelievable. In short: they forgot to actually book us onto the tour, and proceeded to get irritated when we complained on the day that WE DIDN’T ACTUALLY GO ON OUR TOUR. We booked a tour for Angra Dos Reis. During the sales phase they were very welcoming. We had leaflets for about 15 other travel companies who offered the tour at about 80BRL cheaper, but as we felt confident and relaxed with this company we decided to pay a premium (this includes multiple assurances that the premium meant their service was better than others). We were meant to be picked up at 7.20am. By about 9.30 we decided to go to their office as the bus still hadn’t arrived. During this time we received no update, and even had messages ignored on their “24 hour” WhatsApp. Our hotel concierge called the driver of the bus, who informed her that we were not on his list and the bus was already halfway to Angra Dos Reis. The best they could offer was A) a refund or B) a bunch of other CHEAPER options than the tour we had actually booked. Considering our day was ruined and it was already around 10.30 we enquired about other options, and they proceeded to get very irritated, having a full on argument with me. Their customer rep tried to compare this situation with returning a faulty product at a shop. The mind boggles. Absolutely no regard for the fact that their gross incompetence and negligence had completely ruined our last day in Brazil. They were so incompetent and their customer service was so bad in the end I took the refund and left just so I didn’t have to listen to their nonsense anymore. Again, I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are literally hundreds of other tour providers in Rio who I’m sure can offer you a basic service such as, you know, actually taking you on a tour for the price that you paid. To the company: please do not respond to this and attempt to justify any of your actions, there is no justification. All I ask is that you actually take people on the tours that they have paid for, and don’t offer literally the worst customer service of any company I’ve ever dealt with.
After collecting tens of leaflets for different, cheaper companies for a day trip to Angra dos Reis, we decided to spend a bit more and choose Rio Carioca tour services as their office was opposite our hotel. It was our last day in Rio. We were meant to be picked up at 7:20am. When nobody came to pick us up, our hotel called up the agency and there was no record of our names on the pickup list, despite us having paid and having a confirmation print out. We waited until 9am for the shop to open to find out where our pickup transfer was. As expected, they put it down to a “system error”. They gave us 2 options, a cheaper tour to a closer beach, or a refund. With the weather being cloudy, we asked for the only other option, which was a helicopter tour. One of the men working there started to argue with us, refusing to accept that their error ruined our day. Do not book with this company unless you want an unreliable service with awful customer service skills. This company has ruined our last day in Rio so please don’t make the same mistake we did!
My wife and I went to Rio for our honeymoon and this cruise was a great way to start our time away in Brazil! The scenery is absolutely beautiful, it was fun stopping to jump into the water along the way, and the tour guide/crew made it a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend this cruise! Without knowing any Portuguese, it was a great option too-the tour guide was very helpful as she explained things in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to the group.
Most of the companies take you in a big bus, you spent over 1 hour in Rio picking up people. The boat is made for over 50 people and they put us with some 60 people. All the way the terrible sound of the motor and the smell of gasoline. They took us to "the blue lagon" just before a storm and we had a difficult time to get in on the boat due to so many people. Some kids and mothers were scared as we didnt have safe jackets (they are only provided if the boat is sinking!!!). A traumatic experience.

Disappointing, however beautiful area. The description noted small group tour. This was a full size bus load to start that then joins another 3-4 full size bus loads that all then get on the boat. It was cram packed with people so if you are looking for a smaller group, there are other tours out there we found that would better suit your needs. It is a full day tour and what really disappointed us was not getting the correct information either from the get go on if it was a bus ride down or a boat from Rio down. So the tour day was very disappointing but again, you will see some beautiful sights outside of Rio.

Pick up was at 7am, we arrived in Angra dos Reis at 11h30 4h30 to get there, definitely too long. The guide was great and very friendly and helpful. We had bad weather and it was cold, boat trip was nice, 3 stops to swim. Food on the boat was very good as well. But would not do it again, just for the 4h30 drive in the morning and 3h30 hours back in the evening.

Really well-organized experience. The bus picked us up from under our hotel and then we reached the starting point where we took the boat to go around the lagoons. In terms of quality, really great price. Lunch was included and was hearty and self-service including fish, rice, vegetables, chicken... The guide was really super helpful kind and nice. We had to continue our journey and not return to Rio de Janeiro, they even made someone available to take us to our accommodation outside rio.
Too bad the schedule in viator is wrong. Times differ, lunch is not on board the boat but only at the last stop. Boats are close together and many people bob in the water with polar noodles. Only at the first swimming spot can you see fish flocking to you through feeding. Nowhere to really snorkel.
The scenery is beautiful. We never knew what island we were visiting. The guides aren't ready to go. Just tell me the name of the beach and when we should leave
Very the guide wxelwnte plotted service thanks to the guide pir your attentions and your good humor the very nice place
Beautiful excursion, very good attention from Nathalia, our guide. The quiet trip by both micro and boat.
Here is a brief description of our tour: Arrival about 4-5 hours, instead of 2.5 hours as advertised. Toilet on the bus very disgusting/unhygienic, this was not to use. 1. Stop: you were allowed to jump off the boat into the water on the rocky coast. No landfall or similar; after 30 minutes it immediately continued. You don't manage to go into the water relaxed. We didn't go in at all. 2. Stop: 1 hour shore walk on a relatively small beach. Everything full with participants of other organizers. The church was not open as it was trendy. For us, zero relaxation. 3. Food: unfortunately only okay. After an hour you had to be back on the excursion boat immediately. You couldn't see the area. 4. Return journey: the crew has started partying for their guests. The guests consisted predominantly of families with small children. Much too loud music. Our children covered their ears at some point because of the volume. 5. "Tour guide": she only said something about the itinerary every now and then, but nothing about the island. Overall, unfortunately, a disappointment for us. We could hardly take anything from the Ilha Grande.
It is a bit touristy (lots of people on the boats), the travel time is long we are far from seeing all the interesting sites of Ilha Grande. But it's a very exotic excursion that's worth it from Rio, if you don't want to spend a night there, and that allows you to appreciate beautiful places, the vegetation of the island, swimming places, fish, etc.
The beaches of Isla Grande are fantastic but the fact of traveling by bus 5 hours from RJ (go and return) is too tiring unfortunately
Bad activity. Hours to collect customers, nothing to visit on the islands, bad weather, lunch at 17.15, lack of assistance and attention.
Each place with its unique charm, we had a wonderful day, we enjoyed a lot, we loved the experience of touring several places.
Excellent tour, everything very well organized and a very tasty lunch. Our guide was Raquel, very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful experience. The beaches are beautiful, the diving with the fish is beyond words. The guide Léo was very attentive and friendly. Lunch is late, after 3:30 pm, but we were warned. Nice food.
It was a real disaster. The tour was in Spanish, the guide spoke in Portuguese, the little he spoke and explained, we never went to Angra, we waited 90 minutes for the boat, they gave us lunch at 4:00 p.m. and the food was impossible to eat, horrible. They made me lose a day of my vacation!!!!
E tinha criança no passeio.
