Overall nice hotel, but not if you meet someone and want to bring them over. Hotel has a very strict "no visitors" policy. This is fine if you are travelling as a couple, but feels very restrictive if travelling solo - kinda like being a teen-ager living at your parents house. Overall room was great, water pressure in shower is awesome - like standing under a waterfall. But for the money, better to stay someplace where you are treated as an adult capable of making adult choices - most the other hotel's (i.e. the JW Marriott next door) allow visitors, this seems to be a thing specific to the Windsor chain.

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed for almost a week. To be honest, considering the price we paid, I believe there are much better options in the area. The hotel wasn't bad, but there was nothing particularly special that justified the cost. When we first checked in, the air conditioning in our room was extremely noisy. After I reported the issue to the night receptionist, they immediately took action and moved us to another room. The following day, we were moved once again to a different room. While I appreciate how quickly they responded, no one ever apologized for the inconvenience. I had also mentioned that we were staying for our honeymoon, but apart from the standard complimentary chocolates that every guest seems to receive, there was no special gesture or recognition. On the positive side, the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. The hotel also offered an excellent currency exchange rate, which was very useful during our stay. The pool area, however, was quite disappointing. We stayed for seven days, and it was almost empty every day, which reflects that it isn't a particularly attractive or inviting space. Overall, while our stay was comfortable, I don't think the hotel offers good value for money. For the same budget, you can definitely find better accommodation in the area, including hotels with better facilities and even rooms with a view.
Wonderful hotel! Everything about the hotel and its staff was incredible! One staff person stands out, though - Tiago (I believe he's a porter). In talking with Tiago I felt more comfortable and at ease coming to Brazil for the first time. His English was very good and we could easily communicate with each other. While talking with him, I noticed he was still looking at things around him but also to keep the converstion flowing too. You have a piece of gold in Tiago. In addition to your beautiful hotel, Tiago gives it that bit of extra polish. Loved my stay and WILL be back!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect, the rooms were clean and all the staff I met here were all very friendly. Shout out to Mayra! She checked me in and was very professional and nice! She's awesome! The only reason why I didn't give 5/5 stars is because the food served during room service could have been better quality. Luckily there are ALOT of restaurants around it. Other than that, this hotel is great.
We stayed here for four nights during our tour of Brazil and we were not disappointed. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the middle of the Coppacabana beach and very close to all the bars, restaurants and shopping. We chose a balcony room and our view from the balcony overlooking the beach was superb. The room itself was large and very comfortable. The staff are great and super helpful. Breakfast is good but was a wee bit repetitive but still tasty all the same. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Copocabana.
