Great stay! Everyone is very helpful. My room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast is delicious, and adding more protein options might be a great idea. The staff again made the experience better. The pool is small but functional. The views are stunning, and I recommend trying a drink while overlooking the Copacabana sunset. Explore the neighborhood behind the hotel—locals go there to eat and drink, and the vibe is good.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Great Stay at Arena Copacabana Hotel!** I had a wonderful stay at Arena Copacabana Hotel in Rio! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. A special shout-out to **Jailton, the bartender**, who provided exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable. His hospitality truly stood out! Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Arena Copacabana Hotel to anyone visiting Rio. I would happily stay here again! 🇧🇷🌴⭐
Service provided by Lucas M at the restaurant is 10/10. He is over the top. Very attentive. All his coworkers are amazing as well. Help desk and cleaning service are very good. Food at the restaurant is great! Drinks are delicious. Our rooms could benefit from a bathroom update.
We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The window offered a beautiful beach view, making it the perfect spot to relax. The location is excellent—right on the beachfront and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops.
The hotel is located right on the Copacabana Beach which was obviously a big plus. Despite how loud the street and cars are, you can’t really hear the noise inside the room, again a big plus. The breakfast was satisfactory. We also had a nice view from the room (which we did pay extra for) and I would rank the experience overall with the staff as OK, however a special mention to the housekeeping team, who despite limited English (understandable) were very kind and did their best to help us in whatever way they could. Our experience overall of the room was quite good, however, comparing to European standards, calling it 4 stars might be a bit of a push. During check-in we felt the process took way longer than it needed to given we had all of our documents and reservation information ready, due to the “relaxed” nature of the lady at the front desk who felt like she needed a good nights sleep. The room itself was clean when we entered, however certain improvements in the bathroom (shower specifically) would be helpful as parts of it were rusty and looked like they needed to be refreshed. The rest of our stay (7 nights) was overall all positive. This was unfortunately soured during our check out process. When checking if we had packed everything from the room, we decided to look under the bed, which was a bit mistake. It looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum in several months, and we found a couple of bugs underneath, including one cockroach. Finally, BEWARE of using the minibar. As several other reviews have indicated, there isn’t visible information on or in the fridge in your room about the cost associated with the items inside. Charging for small bottles (200ml) of water in a “4 star” hotel in 35 degree heat is in my opinion ridiculous and something the hotel should look into changing ASAP.
