Mercure Rimini Lungomare

We spent two wonderful days there to celebrate our anniversary on 26–28 August 2026. Right from the start, we felt wonderfully looked after by the exceptionally friendly and courteous ladies at reception. We travel a lot and often stay at Accor hotels, and we’d like to express our appreciation for the exceptional hospitality at the Mercure Lungomare Rimini. Hotel with sea view in heart of touristic area. Amenities are very basic and facilities need an upgrade. Hot water is a big problem during rush hour. Staff is polite and efficient. Breakfast is good, aperitivo in the evening is a welcome addition.

I had a very disappointing experience with this booking. I made a reservation through Corporate Benefits and paid in full. Later, I realized that I had forgotten to include one additional person. I contacted the property and also requested to move the booking one day earlier. This change was accepted, so I expected everything to be handled fairly. However, on the day of arrival, I was suddenly charged extra fees for the change, even though no additional service was actually provided. There was no clear explanation, no transparency, and no goodwill from the staff. It felt like a completely unjustified charge. The communication was poor, and the handling of the situation was unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to double-check everything and be cautious when making changes, as you may end up paying unexpected and unfair fees. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend booking here.

The hotel showed AC as one of the perks but it was 24 degrees in the room. When we called the reception, we got a stiff nosed Italian “no”. Their advice was kiterally to open the window or sleep in the balcony! Unreal. They do not have the courtesy of providing even a fan. This is a four star hotel. Abysmall service. Never book here again.
