Fantastic tour of this beautiful City. Our guide, Dom, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour so fun and informative. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to master, and a great way to see the city. They ensured everyone was comfortable on the seagways before we started the tour.
We booked this as a fun way to see the sights in Riga. We had never used segways before and so we had to learn from zero. Thomas and the guys were great in the initial training and within minutes we were good to go. It was really a great way to tour the city because it opens up pathways and streets as route options and it's just great fun. As a result we saw a large area of the city without having to take a step. Our guide Thomas was very informative and explained the history of the city in an interesting way. Great memories to take with us. Highly recommended.
Fun way to see the city and learn a lot of history. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of sights, and it was very fun riding on the segways. We were given a quick tutorial on how to drive them, they were easy to get ahold of. Our tour guide was great!
Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about everything that we might reasonably want to know. She was friendly and took great care with our wellbeing on the Segways as well as explaining where we would be going next. There was a wide range of sights to see and learn about and we didn't feel that any of the 2 hours was wasted. Superb value for money - highly recommended.
We had a great time exploring Riga on a Segway. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. This was a fantastic way to tour the old town , the art nouveau district and other sights.
Had a fab tour around the sights of Riga, so much fun. After tuition we had 90 mins tour of the city with a great guide... thanks
Great tour, friendly and helpful guide. Not too busy for Segway! Managed to get a really good overview enabling more exploring later on. All training given down nice quiet street.
An extremely effective way to see the sites of Riga! Inga our guide provided fantastic commentary on places of interest, history and culture of Latvia. Highly recommend!
We had Inga as our guide, who was very caring and made sure we were comfortable on the Segway. She gave a historical tour as well as her personal touch of her life in Riga. Segways were very safe with large tyres suitable for the cobblestones.
The segway tour was very good. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Riga and Latvia, explaining the history of the country. The segways were in good condition and they spent time at the beginning making sure you were comfortable operating the segway. I would recommend this tour as a great way to see the city. My only suggestion would be if visiting in colder months, make sure you have some extra warm gloves as it can get cold as you ride along.
Excellent tour with really good English speaking guide who constantly entertained us with facts & amusing stories. Highly recommended
Fantastic fun. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and made sure we could all steer our segways before setting off. We were asked whereabouts we would like to visit so we requested a tour of the art nouveau area. We had great fun going through the parks and open spaces. Thoroughly recommend this activity.
Excellent tour of old town and the art nouveau sights of Riga! We had already done a walking tour of old town Riga which we let our Segway tour guide know. As the free walking tour we went on the day before was a part of the same company, our Segway tour guide knew what we’d have been shown already and took us around a completely different part of the city to explore the art nouveau buildings which Riga has in abundance. The Segways themselves were incredibly fun - you can get a good speed on if you want around the freedom tower and in the huge parks! If you’re a complete newbie like we were, they make sure you get the hang of it before your tour begins. The tour took us further than we thought and we learnt so much about the amazing city. Although it is quite expensive, it was a highlight of our trip and well worth it. 10/10 recommend!
Excellent experience. The people were friendly, helpful and flexible in arranging a tour at short notice. The tour was excellent - interesting and informative. This was our first time using segways. After a few minutes it felt quite natural. Highly recommended!
We lucked out finding this outfitter. There was a cruise ship in town. Yet, the operator was able to get my son and I a spot in the afternoon. It was our first time on Segway, which added an element of adventure to the tour. Our guide was super friendly, had an endearing sense of humor, and very informative. Riga is a beautiful city and I recommend a Segway or bike tour to get out of the standard tourist areas. Note - your feet may get sore, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
Made a mistake with booking. Tried to contact to correct. They would not respond. Do NOT book with this group
This was a fantastic tour despite the POURING rain!! And despite the weather the tour went ahead with us well wrapped in waterproof ponchos! The guide was really knowledgable and the headsets meant we could hear everything he said whilst we were moving and we didn’t have to keep stopping. We’d never done segways before but they’re easy to learn and great fun! Even the two 17 year old girls with us loved it! We’d definitely recommend this tour - just hope for better weather!
The Segway units had large tires for the cobblestone streets and were easy to maneuver and comfortable. The historical commentary was fabulous and continuous throughout the entire tour through the remote earpieces. our guide was knowledgeable, humorous and full of intimate details. Unquestionably one of the best tours we have had here in the Baltic as we have toured multiple cities. I can’t imagine a better way to see Riga- The tour literally transformed our perspective on the city and country.
It was a very nice tour in the old town. Our guide Leila had so much to tell. She knew a lot about the buildings and the historic things. With the 🎤 we could ride en listen at the same time. Great!!!! We recommend the segway tour! We had a private tour which took 2 hours
Excellent way to tour the city. Would highly recommend. Massive thanks to our guide Toms. You really do cover some ground.
As soon as I booked i got a whats app message from the owner accommodating the tour to my desired time and with detailed instructions. I felt guided the whole time. Mikel was my tour guide. He is Very nice, professional and knowledgable guide. He is Very fluent in english and Spanish with smooth accent. This is a very good tour to do. You get to know the city throughly in a couple of hours. The segway were a lot of fun too. There are kept in a Very good conditions. Amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour.
Gints (the owner) was sooo friendly and helpful, we hired a Segway (which was great value for money) and everything was made clear and he gave lots of direction on where to go and what to see. When we got back he mentioned a husky sleigh ride and a bike and fly which we did both. He picked us up and got us back safely. He went above and beyond for us even making us a dinner reservation. Highly recommend.
The team at “Bicycle Rental” couldn't have been more helpful. We had pre-booked a Segway tour on the understanding that if it was too cold, too snowy, too wet then we could change our plans at no cost to us! As it happened we did switch days because rain was forecast and Gints was able to fit us in at short notice. What a great way to cover a lot of ground, see the main sights and hear from a local guide about the history of Riga, places to visit and restaurants to try. Was it too cold in January? Wrap up warm, wear two pairs of gloves, thick socks, scarf and you will be fine! We managed 1.5hrs without getting frostbite! Fantastic.
Great (non-smoking 😂) tour, flexible guide. Two hours -11 km. A lot of background information about Riga.
Booked in advance. Great service offered thus providing german speaking guide and audio guide equipment. Great communication concept since the guide can explain during the segway ride in good audio quality. Many thanks to the staff that showed great flexibilty since our plane was late and they instantly managed to shift the tour for an hour. Our guide Ilze provided so many information and took good care of us. Segways were in excellent condition.
Lots of pretty parks and good buildings. Segways are fun and Riga is an ideal place to do this. Very good.
Super guide - many historical details and anecdotes served in a humoristic way. Also the arranging of the tour was great even with a very short notice.
We like segway tours, there fun just for the segway but they're a great way to cover more ground than the walking tours and get a slightly bigger picture of the city you're visiting. In Riga, our guide Janis was highly entertaining, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his city and the country's history. The tour took in the old town, the art nouveau district, parts of the modern city and covered Riga's curious relationship with Sherlock Holmes (I won't spoil it for you)! Janis made this definitely one of the better segway tours we have taken. Highly recommend.
We were in 11 Italian people, we spent 1/2 hour to pratice with segway and than the 1 and 1/2 hour tour with Italian speaking guide. With the headphones was possible to hear the explaination while we were driving. The segway is perfect to have a fast and complete visit of the city with a bit of fun.
The segways are easy to drive. The wheels are wide so the cobble stones are not a problem the guide was good. The website promises 10% discount if you book on line but that didn’t apply when we paid for some reason they couldn’t explain.
We called the office 2 days in advance. They speak good English, and booking was done within 10 minutes. The office is easy to find, and we where feeling welcome. On of them even speaks Norwegian! After 5 minutes of gearing up an 5 minutes of training, we went of with Kristine in front. She speaks good English, and really know her city. The route where we'll planned in an around the old town. With a few stops to allow legs to recover. Segway make some leg strain. Earplugs worked good, but easily fell out. But because Kristine normally made a stop when she had something to tell, that wasn't a problem. So thank you for a nice trip. I highly recommend you. Vera and Ole Jan Ouff from Norway 😊
Did Best of Riga Segway Tour on with 4 friends and Kristina our Tour Guide. Would highly recommend this to anyone as it was very interesting and Kristina was very friendly and knowledgeable. Well done BicycleRental.lv - keep up the great work.
My wife and I tried the Segway tour for one hour and felt the briefing and quick training more than adequate and off we went guided by Ilza. It was an interesting experience and a great way to see the City. Sure, it was cold but it is December and you naturally dress up warm! Ilza was very informative and humorous. We really enjoyed the experience and would do it again.
I can only review the booking process because I was never called back after requesting a private tour. I visited the Bike Rental shop on Sunday and asked about a private tour. I was told I'd have to pay for a two person tour, which I agreed to. The person in the office said he would have to call a guide to arrange a time for Monday. I left my name and phone number. He even confirmed that he wrote down my number correctly by calling me successfully while I was still in the office. I waited the rest of the day Sunday and by midday on Monday, still now response. I came by the office later on Monday but the door was locked. No response on Monday or Tuesday. I just walked around the old town and did my own tour. I've booked Segway tours in other cities with nine other companies. This is the first company who must have enough business where they don't need to call back potential customers. I'd rather give great reviews (which I frequently do),but to not book someone who is ready to pay extra rates a poor rating.
Our family of eight, six of whom were never on a Segway, absolutely loved our two hour tour. Riga is a beautiful town and we saw many of the highlights, which we would not have seen if we were walking. Thank you, thank you.
This was an Incredible 2 or probably the best one we had on our cruise the instructor was very patient and very informative the city was absolutely beautiful the Segway company is at wonderful very accommodating. This was a 5-star Excursion well worth the money paid we would definitely do again it was the first time my wife and I have ever been on Segways
Excelente tour ! La guía increíble en verdad lo tomaría otra vez es una manera diferente de ver las cosas !
Very nice tour, good guide and good equipment. Good explanation! We also had very nice weather, which also helped.
It was a very nice experience with the segway trip. First of all, it was fun to drive a segway, and I liked that the guide had short stops with information along the way. We were a group of 6 who attended, and everyone was very happy. We were also very surprised that the guide spoke Norwegian.
Very pleasant reception. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke “svorsky”. Great to understand. We had a great trip and got seen a lot in 90 minutes. A wonderful experience to reach so much while we let go, just “stay still”. Easy to master.
Die Führung durch die perfekt deutsch sprechende Christina war sehr intesseant und informativ. Wir haben jede Minute genissen
After a short informative and practical briefing by the Captain Gingilike (?? sorry) we started the 1 1/2-hour Segway tour of Riga in beautiful weather accompanied by the expert guide Leila!! So we reached sights and places that we probably would not have seen alone or in another form of a sightseeing tour!! Captain G. and city guide Leila were a very well-rehearsed, functioning team that provided us with safe and diverse information, brought us to the most beautiful sights and locations!! Everything was right!! It was a great experience with certainly lasting memories that encourage another visit to this beautiful city!!! Thanks again to Captain and City Guide with a lot of love greetings!!! 😏😊😊👍👍 Alfred and Jürgen PS: the price/performance ratio was absolutely ok!!!👌
Excellent time Very interesting French speaking guide The owners are also very welcoming. Great experience
Nice trip in Riga. We ordered 7 Seegway and everything was ready at the agreed time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could speak a very understandable English. He also knew the whole story, and little anecdotes about the city and its houses. We felt safe all the time (although two of the participants had never tried Seeg-way before. Dtte place can clearly recommendess and is just close to the old town.
The Best of Riga+ Segway Tour is the perfect way to explore the city without much effort. Many thanks to Kristine, our guide, who made the tour very exciting and interesting. Bicycle Rental Riga is recommended in every respect!!!
Our 2 hours segwaytour was excellent, informative thanks to Laila, who speaks german perfectly. Her knowledge is impressive. We had an audio system, so she was able to tell us all at the right time. Gints was the leader of the tour. He has chosen a very interesting route. Both tried hard to make our tour excellent and memorable and that worked. You get a comfortable survey of this beautiful city, HIGHLY recommended. Many thanks to the team! We arrived on a cruise ship and got a transfer by Gints, very convenient. Our 2-hour Segway tour was excellent, informative, thanks to Laila, who speaks perfect German, has a tremendous knowledge and brings everything closer to you via an audio system and Gints, who has put together a great route. The two of them are very passionate about it, and you can tell. So you can comfortably get a very good overview of the beautiful city, HIGHLY recommended. Thanks to the great team! We arrived by cruise ship and Gints picked us up from the port far from the center and brought us back, a very pleasant Service.
