Experience a company of friendly and excited Husky dogs who can’t wait for the ride with you. The ride will be an excitement not only for you but also for dogs. We offer you an unforgettable 3km ride through the scenic forest with up to 25km/h speed. Before the ride we’ll introduce you to our lovely dogs. During the ride you can try both: to be a musher and a passenger. Preparation for the Husky dog sledge ride will include general and safety instructions, thus letting you become a part of the Huskies team. The average time for a 3km ride of 2 ppl (musher and passenger) is 15 to 20 minutes. This public tour is run with at least 5 participants! If less then we can try to upgrade to a private tour or cancel the tour and make a full refund! In NO SNOW snow conditions and NO ICE ON THE TRACK a bike kart is used, providing the same principles of handling and similar user experience as with the sledge. BE AWARE THAT THIS ACTIVITY IS WEATHER-SENSITIVE AND CAN BE CANCELLED IN THE LAST MOMENT!
it was amazing experience. we loved the nature, the dogs (very happy and very friendly) and the all settings. we found it a bit short as time passed very fast!
Great trip. Pick up is in the Old Town Square. Approximately 30-40 minute drive to venue. You get plenty of time to stroke the dogs and take pictures. A walk to a tall viewpoint is optional. We did it and the view at the top was good. Sledge ride is great. Both people get the chance to stand one way and sit the other. The organisers take group pictures for you and make you feel welcome. Dogs are well looked after and seem to love it. Would recommend.
Went to Latvia for friends bday did husky ride was such fun excellent experience We have never laughter so much. Very cold but right clothes warm water proof boots and gloves hat scarf made it more bearable and more time having fun
The host was amazing. A very lovely and enthusiastic man focused on making sure yoh ate comfortable and enjoying yourself. As for the husky's, you don't want to leave them. They love every minute of you and the ride. 5 stars!
We had a great trip with a very friendly driver. The dogs were curious and eager to pull the sled. It was very relaxing to spend time in the calming snowy forest.
A nice experience that I would recommend to every animal lover. Unfortunately our tour guide was a little - he did apologize tho so it wasn’t too big of a deal. He was very nice and kept the conversation alive. Once you arrive at the spot you are greeted by many huskies and they are very friendly, you can go straight up to pet them and take pictures. The actual ride is fun but unfortunately a bit short. Maybe 10 minutes as a pair (15 minutes max).
Really amazing experience. Would recommend some very warm clothing as it was around -17 when we went and everything was cold!
Sled with husky... What can I say. One extraordinary experience. We did it for the first time and we didn't regret it. The dogs very friendly, the people very polite and ready to explain everything. Don' t have any second thought its worth all the money. Just do it.
We(my daughter/wife and myself)booked this tour beginning of December and it got confirmed . 22 days later, 1 day before our flight to Riga they cancelled our tour, reason: double booking. When I mentioned why they waited almost a month to inform us and that it would be impossible for us to book anything else we only got a:it’s not our fault response. I begged them for an alternative and they proposed the most expensive version instead a few days later, No discount, no apology but Without an alternative I took the other option. 1 day before the ultimate most expensive tour, they cancelled us AGAIN. Reason: temperature is above 0. So don’t believe any of the, if there is no snow you can go on wheels cause they just cancel if they feel like it. First time I’m writing a bad review but the disappointment in this company is just too great.
Really nice first time dog sledding through some tracks in a forest. We experienced it with snow on the track and had a great time playing with the dogs. The down side of the experience was the small vehicle used to take us to the spot (1 hour driving from Riga). It wasn't fit to accommodate 4 people + driver. And that's the only reason why I won't give the perfect rating. Our guide did his best despite the inconvenience of the mean of transportation and we'd gladly take the experience again with him.

A beautiful and progressive small ocean city in the heart of the Baltic Sea . Great old town , good time , but it has formalities , respect , controls and good citizen behavior .. Do not be offended by objectivity , planning and on time is very important , and this is good !
Really good fun, the time with the dogs was brilliant. Wish the ride was longer though. Don't be nervous of doing it - in reality the dogs don't get to 20-30kmph. I have arthritic knees and had 3 operations on my back and it was fine for me. It was also lovely to have some time to walk in the forest, even if it was only 30 minutes. The husky dog socks are definitely warm too! I never thought I'd get to do this.
An absolute must when you come to Latvia. My husband and I had a wonderful day with memories that will last forever. You had a chance to play with the Husky’s who are so friendly. Our tavy was called Panda, you could tell right away he was so happy and a cheeky chap! Then you get to go sledding and half way you can swap who “drives” To finish off you have the chance to walk through the forest and climb to the top of the tower to see the view! It’s really worth it. We were lucky enough to have quite a lot of snow and we rented their trousers which I recommend as they were nice and toasty. You can buy socks and gloves ect made from the Husky hair. They are a little pricey but they were so warm and each item has the name of the dog it comes from which is a nice touch. It’s a great day out to get out and see outside of Riga. So don’t think, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. It really is a tick off your bucket list.
The activity already begin during the van trip when the host tell interesting facts about Riga and the huskies. Arrived at the spot (35 minutes) you can pet the dogs, they are twentish and all of them are super friendly. The dog sled is really fun, finished that you can go to a near watch tower to admire the landscape and pet again the dogs or buy some souvenirs. This one of the most interesting activity that I did in Riga, absolutely recommended!
Fantastic trip - A really well organized tour. I can’t find a single fault. The snow was a bonus !! The dogs clearly were extremely well looked after. They obviously loved the owners and enjoyed all the attention. The huskies were the friendliest dogs , considering their mainly rescue ones , every one was gentle and loving. The pick up / drop off was smooth. The tower views were amazing. Take some euros for the excellent prices gloves made from Husky fur ! Tom was very well informed even though it was a new role for him. He even videoed us and air dropped it. Value ; service , everything was faultless.

This was such a fun trip! We were very lucky and had snowy conditions. Time to meet the dogs, who were well cared for, and the ride itself was fantastic. 3km into the woods. Time to experience both as a passenger and a musher. After we went for a walk up a watch tower which was very high, but worth doing. Very Highly recommended! Gints, our tour guide was very helpful and informative.
Was an amazing day definitely made our trip to Latvia extra special the dogs were so friendly and Paul who took us was an exceptional guide even offering extra help via Watt's app if we need it all I can say is brilliant

Honestly the best thing we have done, ever, Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable not only of the activity we was about to do but also of Riga and Latvia in general, We arrived and the dogs were already waiting, chilling by some tree’s You are encouraged to go over and meet the dogs and stroke them and I would highly recommend them (don’t worry about the barking it’s just them being very excited) the dogs are all rescues but absolutely wonderful dogs all with a lovely temperament. Then we got got shown how to ride the sled properly while the dogs were being prepared and this was all so comfortable we took our position one stood up controlling and another sat at the front (we switched when we turned around but it’s personal preference) And off we went the dogs were so happy to be doing this and the other people who set up the dogs and are along side on the ATV whilst you ride are really helpful and fun. We then went through the woods which was almost magical like with it being covered in snow and we walked up to this sightseeing tower but due to snowy conditions we couldn’t go to the top however even where we stood the views were amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who looks nature, animals or just some cultural history of Latvia
The guide was good but there was no snow so wasn’t that great. Overpriced . I was asked to pay €30 in addition to prove of ticket otherwise they would cancel my booking. Experience was otherwise good and guide took me to a walk in the forest

My wife and I really love dogs and active lifestyle so this was the perfect activity for both of us. Even though there wasn’t any snow they had special dog sleigh with wheels and the ride was incredibly fun, this is the second time we book with this company and I would 100% recommend it to everyone.
Really nice experience in this latvian forest with the dogs. It feels like they are really well treated and enjoying what they are doing. Coming from rescue center, they are growing well and are so friendly.😊 Gints gave us some advices about what to see and do in Riga and nearby. Too bad it was not snowing ! (But not raining at least 🙃)
A lovely few hours spent with Gints our driver and guide for the day; he drove us to the ‘snow dogs’ place in the beautiful forest about 40 minutes from central Riga where we met the husky dogs and got to play with them before embarking on our ride! Unfortunately there was no snow on our visit so it was a cart instead of a sled but it was still lots of fun dashing through the trees, I was the passenger and my husband was the ‘musher’! The dogs are clearly well looked after and most are rescue dogs which made it even more lovely to see! Gints also took us on a walk through the forest to a watchtower with an amazing view, and chatted to us about the country, it’s history and people which was great to learn about! We would definitely recommend Allure Tours!
Saturday we were supposed to go in the morning, but this was cancelled shortly beforehand. We booked for the afternoon and were ready at 2:25 pm at the agreed point. Together with four others we waited there for half an hour. We tried to e-mail, call, but to no avail. I just hope we get the money back from 2x soon. Luckily we were able to join another organization on Sunday, with whom we just had app contact. Much more direct and secure.
A unique experience, very welcoming people and very kind. We had a great time. Nevertheless we were surprised to pay an extra 20 euros in cash per person to give to the driver who picked us up and take us back to Riga. Everyone on board the bus was hallucinated especially considering the price of the excursion. This should be stated directly in the advert and not in advance of the excursion when paying. A family that accompanied us had not been notified and were caught unawares during the bus ride, the driver dropped them off at a vending machine along the road. This kind of thing can leave a bitter taste to the excursion..

Super fun trip! An hour's drive from Riga you will find beautiful forest landscapes and cute huskies. The sleigh ride took about 15-20 minutes, but there is also a beautiful panoramic view within walking distance. Highly recommended.
