This is a fantastic family hotel offering great value for money in an amazing beachfront location.
The hotel has plenty of activities for children, including a kids’ playroom, a swimming pool, and comfortable family rooms with bunk beds that kids absolutely love. During the summer, several children’s camps organized by different companies are held at the hotel, creating a fun and lively atmosphere for families.
The only downside is breakfast. It can get very crowded, and the selection is not as good as we expected. However, this isn’t a major issue, as there are plenty of lovely cafés nearby where you can enjoy a great breakfast.
Overall, it’s a wonderful choice for families, and we would happily stay here again.
Enjoyable SPA experience at the quiet area of Jurmala. Outside pool and saunas definitely worth it. Breakfast selection is superior, even when lactose intolerant.
Rooms are a little aged and falling apart slowly. Location is remote, but still 20min walk from nearest grocery store or the beach.
50€ deposit was not expected for the mini bar.
We stayed in the Lielupe Hotel and everything was fine. So we decided to come back for another 4 nights. This time the beds were horrible. We both had back-pain. Mine is still ongoing. We informed the hotel after two nights. A change of the room was not possible. The thin topper did not help. You could feel the wood of the bed.
If you are lucky you get a good (probably renewed room), if not you got a problem.
Really nice hotel, breakfast and location was awesome!
The gym probably half the size of the impression you get from the pictures, but still good.
The rooms..
Tv was old, many of the channels did not work, probably due to bad internet connection. WiFi wasn't that good either.
The sink in the bathroom was smelling bad, did someone ever clean the waterlock?
The showerhead in the bathroom fell off during shower, the control for the overhead shower was also loose.
The BALCONY. Whats upp with the balcony? Rusty, cracked. Water dropped through the concrete from the balcony above. Felt really unsafe! Didn't let our kids to go out on the balcony alone.
I recently had a treatment in this hotel which cost 95e
The therapist made me feel stupid and started arguing with me when I asked about having abit more pressure as I literally couldn’t feel anything.
My hands belly and head were untouched (not been massaged)
I have complained to the manager about this situation (as receptionist advised , saying that we are old come to some sort of agreement)
Manager gave me 10% off the NEXT time I would come for a treatment which is absolutely ridiculous considering the Amount I paid.
Definitely do not recommend. Jurmala spa is so much better throughout!!!
