Good location for old town of Riga Rooms and the hotel are a little dated but the building is very old and have a nice quirky feel to it.

Nice staff. Very very old hotel with very very old carpet. Got a room next to the reception, people in the streets can literally look in to my room. 2 hours later I moved out

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Monte Kristo. The person at check-in was wonderful, breakfast buffet was large and tasty, and the room was quiet and comfortable. Also, the location was perfect, as it was an easy walk to the tram line, other public transportation, and the coach and train stations.

A nice hotel with a good location for exploring old town. The staff on reception were very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice although a little tight for space as it’s a very old building. Breakfast choice was limited and the buffet area was very cramped with everybody getting in everybody’s way as they crammed too many tables close to the buffet. The overflow seating area could have been made to look a little nicer and less like a storage space. Overall besides the breakfast it’s a nice hotel at a reasonable price with friendly staff in a good location.

Perfect place to stay. I forgot my suit in there, they kept it safe until I came back. Very friendly staff, close to heart of the city, train and bus stations.
