Offering an award winning restaurant, the modern and elegant Boutique Hotel Mama is located in center of Jurmala, near the beach and river. The hotel occupies a restored building in the wooden architectural style characteristic of Jurmala. Rooms and apartments are equipped with many modern amenities, including bathrooms with heated floors and warm towel dryers. The restaurant has a summer terrace with heated flooring and an elegant interior, and serves delicious Mediterranean and Baltic dishes. Breakfast is served daily from 9:00 until 13:00. In addition, there is a special menu for dogs and cats.

Cute, coming of age hippie-style family-run outfit in a good spot, opposite the museum and close to other attractions like the 'Inner Light' Art Studio or the train station. Situated right along a busy road and the train tracks means that it's a little noisy at times though...

High price does not match the quality. Shows that there is AC but it’s not working, so really bad to stay during hot summer night. Also, very noisy outside, next to the train station and main road.

Great location not far from sea and main beach. Wellcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast. But conditioner was not cooling down temperature in room while leaving windows open isnt great option as our windows was with exit on main street and it is loud that way. Utilitys in bathroom also needs refreshment, as for this price range it is unacceptable to have rusty holders.

Wanted to love this place as so quirky but very disappointed. On the plus side close to beach and restaurants and the breakfast was excellent. But outweighed by negatives. Running of place seemed to be in hands of a girl barely out of her teens. Sweet but out of her depth. On arrival neither the room safe or tv working. Later found at least 2 of the plug sockets didn't work. Room very small. Glass toilet door meant you could view each other on the loo. Worst pillow I have ever had. We went out at about 6.30 and asked for 2 more and were told would be ready on our return. At 9.15 whole place locked up and in darkness ( you have keycard access through side door). No sign of pillows. Room incredibly noisy. Trains, road noise, room above us moving stuff around till 2am, someone playing music till early hours. Such a bad night that we moved hotels for our second night in Jurmala. Didn't seem worth asking for a refund as the girl couldn't even sort safe or pillows. Dreadful.
