Konventa Seta Hotel Keystone Collection

Watch out they will enter your room EVEN if you have a do not disturb sign up. This has never happened before but happened two times in just a few hours. On our departure day, someone opened our door without knocking and the sign on the door. We ran a few errands before we checked out and while we were out they cleaned the room and we had not even checked out. Our luggage was out of the room but we had water and a few things left to pick up that they threw away. We still had the keys. Of course management tried to say we returned a key which was a lie. I returned both keys at 11:50am check out is 12:00pm. How would I have known the room was cleaned if I did not have a key?? Rooms have a strong air freshener smell. Mold along the base of the shower. Breakfast while plentiful seemed to have nothing decent including coffee. Our room was located on the 3rd floor with no elevator and no option given if it was acceptable. My husband has a knee injury so it was a challenge to go up and down. I would not and will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know going to Riga.

The hotel is buitiful!! Old building after restoration, one of the few places you can see the original wall that was around the city - it's like a museum in the basement floor. Breakfast was very good, something for everyone. Clean, great staff, would definitely come again.

The room was nice and clean, although the tub was very tall making it VERY hard to climb in and out of. The temperature inside the hotel is very hot, so it made sleeping uncomfortable. We couldn’t get the air conditioning working until the third night when the staff fixed it. Also, I was surprised there was no water refill station. The location is great - right in the middle of old town so it’s convenient to everything. This also made it loud when trying to sleep but I guess that’s the trade off. The breakfast was not worth the money. Small selection, over crowded, and empty trays. I’d recommend the very short walk down the street to Big Bad Bagels. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Konventa Sēta Hotel. The service was exceptionally friendly and warm throughout our visit. I had requested a quiet and beautiful room, and we were given a lovely junior suite. It was tastefully decorated with thoughtful details, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Despite being right in the heart of the Old Town, the room was impressively quiet and peaceful. A perfect location close to everything, yet still calm. We will definitely return.
