Very good and nice pool and sauna area, good breakfast and beautiful, renovater room. Good wiev from 8th floor. Only downside was that the rooms are not soundproof, so we heard the neighbours really well.

Very beautiful hotel with everything you need for a great vacation. Cozy rooms, nice spa area with warm swimming pools, jakuzzies and saunas; restaurant that serves delicious food with big play area for kids. We had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. Cant wait to come back soon. Thank you for a stay:)
Hotel is located in beautiful Jurmala and I had stayed many years ago and had a good experience. However, this time was no good. I booked through my bank rewards site and was not advertised that the hotel had the entire swimming pool closed for maintenance during our stay. I provided our contact info and when we arrived the staff was prepared with an excuse that Expedia did not provide our contact info to them and that they could not contact us to advise of the closure of the pool. However, I believe this to be an excuse and not true as I showed them the contact info that was provided to them and asked to discuss with a manager. However, they refused to get their manager and dug their heels in on their excuses and did nothing to make the experience better other than say I should contact Expedia. I would think this is something they should do but they were unwilling to lift a finger. I witnessed them laughing at my complaint after I walked away from the front desk. In addition the room was extremely hot and the air conditioner did not work well and made an extremely loud sound throughout the night. Unfortunately, after this experience I will not be coming back.
A very nice hotel really close to the beach. It has a nice pool area, with several pools - both for children and adults. It also has a nice pool bar with interesting specialty drinks (both alcohol and not). Several different saunas that will also leave everyone happy. The restaurant is very nice, as well. It might be a little pricey for dinner, but the food is delicious and the service is top quality. The buffet type breakfast also had great food with a wide array of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The junior suite room we had was spacious, comfortable and had a great view. But the sofa-bed wasn't too comfortable for sleeping. The three separate bathrooms inside the suite were a little weird - there was one with a toilet, one with a shower, and one with a bathtub. The parking lot is limited, but the street near the hotel has free parking. However, it was really busy during the weekend when we visited and so, we had to park our car quite far away from the hotel. The receptionist said it can be very busy there on weekends, especially when the weather is nice. The bar on the top floor had nice views, but they aren't really visible late at night. It's best visiting it while it's still daytime or during the sunset.
I chose this hotel specifically for the spa, but my experience definitely did not meet my expectations. The spa areas are cool, the water in the pools is cold, I didn't even want to spend time in a cool environment. We reported the situation to the hotel reception, but they did not respond, so on the last day we simply stopped using their services. Instead of rest and relaxation, I had to experience disappointment. Considering the price of the night, the hotel administration should react promptly and eliminate the shortcomings, but after reading the previous comments, it turns out that those shortcomings are no longer new at this hotel.
