The Grand Bike Tour Of Lyon - 3h

The ride was beautiful, the scenery is beautiful. Not a difficult ride. I wish there was a little more history of Lyon. We saw these walled fortress but the host didn’t know anything about it. Riding is still a great way to explore. A more knowledgeable guide would have been much more meaningful.

Mayva (sp?) was a WONDERFUL guide! What a terrific way to see the city. We especially really enjoyed riding out to the confluence (Rhone and Saone rivers). Thanks Mayva!!

Good introduction to the city. Guide was quite knowledgeable with good English. The park was shut due clearing up from a bad storm which as a shame . But the rest of the trip was good . Would recommend this if you have a short time in Lyon and you want to see the centre of town. We covered 14 miles which you cannot do on foot .

A+ experience. Our tour guide, Maeve, I may be misspelling her name, was incredibly knowledgeable about Lyon’s history and an absolute joy to spend a couple of hours with while touring the city. She made sure we didn’t miss anything, kept the pace comfortable for everyone’s biking speed, and took time for stops along the way to show and explain the city in detail. If you’re visiting Lyon, I would definitely recommend starting your trip with this tour so you can get a better feel for the city and its history. Thank you to the company and to Maeve for such a wonderful experience.

We had an excellent bike tour around Lyon. Lyon is very bike friendly and it was a great opportunity to see such a large area of the city. We biked 22 kilometers and got some great exercise too. Our tour guide (Maive - sp??) was knowledgeable on the sites and history of the city and she was very careful and made sure we were always safe. I would highly recommend a bike tour if you find yourself in Lyon.

This was such a fun and informative way to be introduced to Lyon. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information along the way. So happy we did this on a bike as we covered so much ground. Highly recommend this 💕

Fantastic tour. We are both 60 and found the tour fun, interesting and not difficult to ride. Our guide Sara was lovely and told us fun and interesting information as we rode all around the city. We saw many things we did not know about Lyon so it was well worth it. Also very safe with all the bike lanes. Highly recommend.

This was a good way to see around the city of Lyon, which is beautiful but not a lot of commentary as we were riding. Farina and Sara were lovely

We got to see a lot of areas of Lyon we didn’t expect to see on our trip. The park was quite amazing worth going back to if we had time. The rides along the river were peaceful.

Leah was a fantastic guide, evaluating our abilities in cycling which allowed us an extra stop that was exciting for us. We cycled approximately 15 miles during the three hours, so not only did we get wonderful information and sights, we got a workout! We would totally do this again and highly recommend this tour.

Lovely bike ride around the city allowing us to see other sites. We especially enjoyed the City park with the zoo and greenhouses. Our guide did a good job explaining the different stops along the way. Even in the hot weather (39°), it was quite nice.

Really great way to see the city in full! We did it on our first day in town and it gave a good layout of the city, an opportunity to go to some places (like La Confluence and through the tunnel) that we wouldn’t have otherwise and our tour guide Lilou was really lovely! Very nice and manageable bike ride with good context about the layout of the city (though some more information about the Roman origins of the city and why it grew into what it is today could have been helpful)! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!

Good tour, i really enjoyed how easy the guide was and explaining everything to me, many lovely places we visited The problem that i choosed normal bike which was a little tiring for me

Andrea did a wonderful job on her first English guided tour in Lyon. This tour was a highlight of our holiday in Europe. We had so much fun! It was about about 10 miles of riding in 3 hours- easy pace with plenty of stops to sightsee and hear some information about the city's history. We would have loved to hear a bit more history or information about buildings in passing but learned some French phrases and restaurant recommendations along the way. We were the only two booked for the tour and extremely grateful the company kept the tour open. Bring water, a snack and an extra layer to add in your bike's basket. Highly recommend if visiting Lyon!

Great for a first day look around to get bearings for Lyon. Electric bikes not really required for medium fitness but it’s lovely to click a button and go

We (3 people) had a wonderful time. The bike ride was lovely and well planned out. We saw more in 3 hours than we would have on our own! Our guide, Marie, was so enthusiastic and gave great knowledge about the City. She is a gem. Definitely recommend this tour!

Seeing so much of Lyon and it's history was very enjoyable, particulary the confuence area architecture.

This was an amazing tour! Great to start two week work trip in Lyon. My guide was perfect and saw so much of the beautiful city of Lyon on bike.

I was only one on your but my guide Edith was excellent. She took me around the city, interesting and entertaining. My highlight was the Tete D'Or, cycling around the park. I recommend this tour.

The rain cleared just in time and we were so glad it did! We would have missed out on the fabulous guide Laurienne (sorry if spelt incorrectly). Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the city (& English) were great and made the ride so enjoyable, informative and (despite the wind and two short hail storms) we really enjoyed it. It wasn’t a difficult ride at all, very easy, relatively flat, route all the way. Thank you Laurienne and I’m sorry we didn’t tip, we weren’t carrying cash 😑

I had a wonderful tour. Despite me being the only person on the tour on a cold rainy wintery day, the guides kindly went ahead and took me on a whirlwind 160 minute bike tour of Lyon. It was a really fantastic way to get my bearings of Lyon whileearning about it's history and getting some exercise. I highly recommend!

This bike tour was well worth the money! We biked for three hours with interesting stops in between and it really gave us a great feel for Lyon before we walked it the next couple of days. Our tour guide was brilliant and Lyon is easy to bike around. So happy we did it!

Great bike ride through old and modern parts of Lyon. Bike trip is definitely the way to see the City. Parts you can’t reach by car. Beautiful city. Green; lovely rivers; great restaurants bars and cafes. Rich history. Luce was informative.

Staff were lovely but it was too relaxed and not safe enough. I booked the e-bike and our group joined in with the normal bikes and it was way too big. It was Rugby World Cup time and Lyon streets were very busy. As the guides were in front people at the back were cutting across streets when lights were red and a couple were left behind for awhile and the guides didn’t know. I would suggest groups no larger than 10 and you either need someone on the tail so people obey traffic rules and don’t get left behind or you stop more regularly to check. The tour has great potential.

Not as described. The group was approximately 20 cyclists which was far too big. Crossing roads and navigating narrow streets was hazardous. If you were at the end of the group you would be too far away to hear the guide. We temporarily ‘lost’ 2 cyclists who eventually caught up. The route was good though we had to race through the second half to try and make up time. In the 2 weeks prior I have been on cycle tours in Nice and Bordeaux which were very much better organised

This was a really fun morning. Our guide was really personable and it was a great way to explore some of the parts of Lyon that are outside the city centre. It’s a reasonably flat ride that uses bike paths for the majority of the time, so is not too taxing. A great experience.

What a wonderful way to see the city landmarks. Both Flora and Joanna were excellent guides with great knowledge and very friendly. Absolutely recommend this trip.

Great ride with lots of interesting information from our tour leader Flora. A variety of paths including main roads, bike lanes and bike paths. Really enjoyed the Parc and the tunnel! Would recommend as a way to see Lyon from a different perspective.

The guide was really great, she could speak fluent English and French and gave a really good insight into Lyon. We found out so many things you can’t find from a google search and the biking was a really good pace (we were on normal bikes). 100% recommend if at Lyon for the first time!!

The group was too large (19 total) for a tour through the city of Lyon. Furthermore the guide gave the information in English and then in French while we were waiting much of the time. The tour ended in the confluence which was fine but the 6 of us in my group had already walked to the confluence the previous day. She could not adjust the tour because there were 5 others going on the same tour. The experience would have been much more pleasant and informative if at least the groups were separated into English and French speaking sections with separate guides. It was a very expensive tour for what we got which was just over 2 hours and we had paid for 3 hours.

An original visit of Lyon that deserves to be lived. Our guide was very competent and friendly. We very much appreciated this formula. Even the rain that accompanied us for three-quarters of the way did not dampen our enthusiasm.

Very nice experience - you can discover several corners of the city, from the park of the golden head to the confluences, passing through several corners of the peninsula. While exercising a little (classic bike tour). Our guide Lea was very knowledgeable and informed us well, both during the visit and to answer our requests on the best suggestions for the time we had to spend in Lyon. Highly recommended.

Tof om Lyon te verkennen met electrische fiets. We zijn op plaatsen geweest waar we anders nooit te voet na artoe zouden gegaan zijn. Onze gids heeft leuke weetjes verteld over elke plaats waar we gestopt zijn. Zeker een aanrader! Advies: goed bij elkaar blijven en een seintje geven als er een fietser achter is gebleven.
