This was a wonderful tour! Anna did such a nice job curating a delicious selection of pastries and narrating the culinary history of Lyon. Even though we were late for the tour due to a snafu at the airport, she made accommodations and caught us up so we didn't miss the fun, and we appreciated her flexibility. This tour is a great way to see the city, enjoy some culinary treasures, and learn about some of the gastronomic highlights from a passionate guide. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time with Anna on this pastry tour after having taken previous visitors to Lyon on her Old Town tour. She’s knowledgeable and has lots of great stories, and the places she included always have the most delicious food. Would definitely recommend if you love sweet things and want to learn about Lyon’s food history as well.
Let me start by saying one should never turn down a pastry tour. Now, Anna's pastry tour goes well above the level of "Well, it's pastry, so, OK, sure, let's do it." Anna gives you a bit of history, a bit of local culture, and a lot of pastry. Do *not*, as we did, have a previously-made dinner reservation shortly after said tour (I know. An own goal if ever there were one.) Also, Anna is a terrific guide. Knowledgeable, personable, and a lot of fun to talk to. If you're going to Lyon, put Anna's tour on your list!
Like many Americans, my knowledge of France beyond Paris is, to say the least, lacking. Anna did a phenomenal job showing us a wide variety of Lyon pastries and treats, showing us some of the best and most delicious spots in the city. During the walks between pastry shops, she gave us a history of the city and showed us some of the "traboules" (secret passageways) hidden in plain sight. The pain au chocolat and eclairs I had were delicious which is only notable to me because in the US, I generally don't get those pastries as they are atrocious on this side of the Atlantic. If you are looking for 3 relaxing hours of fun and deliciousness, you've come to the right place.
Anna was an excellent tour guide and every pastry we tried was delectable! This tour has it all — you get to try delicious Lyonnaise specialties, learn about the history of the city and its bakers, and tour Old Town and Presqu’île. Anna is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and I hope to try her other food tour when I’m back in Lyon :)
We had an excellent experience as a family of 6! we had 3 small children who shared our food with us. You will have leftovers! We loved how thoughtful each part of the pastry tour was with consideration for the stroller. Anna was sure to include lots of history of Lyon, which we appreciated. We had a private tour.
An unforgettable, delicious highlight of my time in Lyon! If you are visiting Lyon, you absolutely must take this pastry tour. Ms Anna was incredible—so warm, welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable about the city's rich culinary history. She didn't just take me to the best local boulangeries and pâtisseries; she also shared the fascinating stories behind every single treat we tasted. The pace was perfect, the tastings were generous, and Anna's passion made the experience truly special. Highly recommended!
Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather. Bring an open mind with questions. Anna was very knowledgeable about the area and the food!
A great afternoon with our guide, Anna. It was interesting, informative and the pastries were delicious! Would highly recommend
Great tour!! A friend and I were visiting from New York, and were going to be in Lyon for 2 nights. The tour was perfect— two hours, lots of yummy food, and good history lessons. It was a perfect way to explore the city. We even had food to take back with us! Anna was wonderful and helpful to us. Highly recommend!
Anna, the guide, provided an amazing tour with lots of pieces of interesting information about Lyon and its pastries. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We tasted some wonderful Lyonnais specialties and discovered unique places we would never have found on our own, all while hearing fascinating stories about the city’s history and culture. Anna is extremely friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. She made us feel very welcome, and went above and beyond by giving us excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lyon who wants a fun, tasty, and insightful experience!
Went to places “0ff the beaten track”; friendly and knowledgeable guide; good history background; great tastings…I would recommend

I had the chance to do Anna’s Pastry Tour in Lyon and it was a real treat from start to finish! The tastings were delicious and the anecdotes Anna shared throughout the visit made the experience even more lively and original. We discovered the city differently, through its delicacies and its history. Anna was passionate, funny and captivating, you can't see the time passing. I recommend 100% for all sweet lovers and the curious who want to explore Lyon in a different way. And next time, I will test his gastronomy tour without hesitation! 🍰✨
This was a wonderful to pass the afternoon! Anna spoke excellent English, was charming and knowledgeable. She took us to 5 pastry shops that I doubt we would have found on our own- plus (1) hidden surprise! I would highly recommend this tour with Anna.
I had the best time on the pastry tour of Lyon with Anna! She took me all around the city to taste some of the most incredible desserts I've ever had. She was knowledgeable about the history of Lyon, and she was more than happy to share recommendations for the rest of my stay. It ended up being only me on the tour, and it felt like connecting with an old friend. Anna was so kind, thoughtful, and super easy to talk to--and of course she knows all the best places to eat around the city. I can't recommend this tour highly enough! Such a great experience!
We loved this tour! The food was excellent and the portions were huge -- got to take home some leftovers that were *divine* even a day later. Anna was knowledgeable and so helpful, she kept our 5 and 7 year olds entertained with scavenger hunts as we walked around. Would highly recommend!
It was a really nice tour, we tried a lot of French desserts and it was very well explained the history of this sweets treats.
Beautiful 2-hour walk. Selected pastries that delight
Anne introduced us to old Lyon and sweet nuggets. The tour is punctuated by anecdotes, discussion with broken stick and exchanges on the specialties tasted. In short, we don't see time passing! I highly recommend
Anna made us discover very good addresses to feast in Lyon! She told us the story of each address which made the tour even more interesting. We didn’t see the time pass, despite the bad weather it was a great time!
We took a ride with Anna and I must say I just LOVED it! We had the right to history, fun facts, little secret passages , all while enjoying pastries or pastries to fall! Anna knows the right addresses and knows how to communicate her passion. I really recommend! Ps: don't make the same mistake as us, be sure you didn't overeat just before the tour because these are not riquis samples!!!
The pastry-themed food tour mixed with a little history of Lyon is a great experience Anna offers to discover the city, and its specialties, otherwise. She does not hesitate to give many gastronomic and tourist tips that decorate even more the already well-rounded visit that she shares with passion. If you are looking for a personalized tour from which you will come out delighted, do not hesitate to book with Anna!
As a Lyonnais, I did not expect to be so surprised! This pastry tour in Lyon was a superb discovery, mixing greed, local culture and conviviality. Our passionate and exciting guide took us through the alleys of Old Lyon, while sharing tasty anecdotes about the city’s history and its specialties. But beyond the food, it was the warm Mood of the band and Anna’s communicative enthusiasm that really made the difference. We feel that she loves her job deeply. A tour that I recommend to all, visitors and curious locals alike!
I participated in the tour organized by Anna, the tour lasts 2 hours and allows to rediscover the city of Lyon in another facet, more educational and of course greedy! Anna tells different stories and anecdotes during the tour that will allow you to leave with more general culture. The selection of pastries is superb and you will delight!
I loved this tour, it mixed both discovery of Lyon and tastings of absolutely delicious pastries. I learned many anecdotes while eating: the dream! I didn’t expect to eat whole pastries every time more, we have a full stomach at the end! Anna also knew how to put a great atmosphere in the group, I felt like I was spending a moment with friends, thank you!
2 hours punctuated by the most beautiful Lyon addresses and anecdotes about the city. I really enjoyed this pastry tour and would recommend it in turn
Anna's great! Lots of anecdotes and great culture. Good choice of pastries, there is something for all tastes and in good quantity! A real treat. Thank you again for this tour! Charles VIOTTI
A very nice discovery. The tour is really greedy and hearty but also rewarding thanks to Anna's explanations on different spots not to be missed. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of pastries we tasted and which were carefully selected by Anna, we really enjoyed and it is a flawless. I didn't see the time pass. Go ahead but come on a light stomach for this tour, you will be full!
I loved this pastry tour in Lyon with Anna! We discovered 5 superb addresses where we could taste delicious sweet creations, all different and refined. In addition to the tastings, Anna shared with us lots of exciting anecdotes about Lyon, its history, its neighborhoods and artisans. It was at the same time greedy, informative and super friendly. An original activity that I recommend 100% if you like pastry and want to see Lyon differently!
I loved the ride with Anna, I was able to discover lots of addresses and remake classics. Everything is punctuated by a history of recipes, a history of the city without being boring. I couldn't even eat all my pastries because it's very hearty. I did it in the morning is great to replace breakfast or brunch.
